Although I did make a purchase today, I was disappointed with this location for a few reasons. #1. Not a single person greeted me or said hello. Even the person working the cash register! I saw many people working and would smile at them and they did nothing...no smile or response. #2. At checkout, I was the only person in line and waited awhile. When the employee got there she barely looked at me or said two words. She did ask me if I'm a part of the loyalty program, but she was not friendly at all. I am actually the one who asked how her day was, especially because it was so awkward standing there in total silence. #3. The dressing rooms were so hot, with the worst lighting and the music was so loud (I think that's where the speakers are or something). It was louder there than in the store. It actually made me not want to purchase anything. At the end of the day, I always think that it doesn't take too much energy to be kind and a positive customer experience goes a long way. read more

Make sure to check your receipts because they're overcharging. The cashiers are extremely rude and unprofessional.

H&M - Children's Clothing Near Me - San Clemente, California

This store is pretty big. If you are familiar with H&M, everything is separated into the different brands they have which makes it easier to find items. This store was pretty much stocked. They have pretty decent sale sections right now in each department and it was all nicely color coordinated. Everything was nicely merchandised. One negative thing is no one in the store greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. read more

This is one of the best H&M locations I have been to. Two floors filled with clothes and accessories, endless items on sale as cheap as 50 cent for a top! Always best to shop during sales, end of summer or after New year's is best. Not busy here at all, the entire mall is still quite empty. No lines at check out and a much larger selection than most locations in SoCal. Great addition to the mall and probably the best place to shop here so far. read more

My first time at this H&M location, its a really big store that has a variety of items in it. They had a lot of sale items going on. I purchased few things from here. They usually have some coupons at their customer service I believe so the person who works there just gave me 10% or 20% off so I didnt have to go walk there and get it. We were checking out at closing time on Christmas Eve. I went in specifically to purchase a few things for my toddler. Grabbed 3 things with "Buy 2 get 1 free" tag. ALL THREE ITEMS HAD THIS IDENTIFYING TAG! Was told at closing, checking out, that one item does not qualify since it's on sale. "Someone" forgot to remove the tag. Guess what- that's not my problem. Jackie the manager was so nasty and refused to apply the promotion. Said I could pay full price for the item ($14.99) and get one of the others ($12.99) free instead. Really? This is a $2.00 difference. You are going to lose a customer, on Christmas Eve, no less, over $2.00? Don't shop here. The Grinch from Whoville lives here. But she goes by "Jackie". Any other store would have honored their written word. Gap, BR, target. See ya, H&M. Your crap is cheap anyway. read more

This retail store is a complete disaster. There is so much merchandise you can't even find what you are looking for. I'm a fan of H&M. Even though it is fast fashion which isn't the best, they do deliver some great clothes for cheap prices. Some items I have purchased here have seem higher quality than others, but the price can't be beat. This is a large location located at the SC Outlets with plenty of clothes and accessories to choose from. Parking is pretty convenient too. Customer service is ok - honestly I don't ever get much interaction with the employees - mostly only when I check out. read more

I popped into this Outlet location in San Clemente after a nearby business appointment and received the most wonderful customer service from Andres Romero. He was super helpful, friendly and engaging. I enjoyed our brief conversation while making my purchase and was really loving his sense of humor. Personality and engagement are rare in customer "service" these days. I had gone to five or six other retail stores after H&M and none had close to the great shopping experience I had at H&M. A lot of selection but a lot of the time they don't have my size in the stuff I really wanted to buy. Some of the staff really try to help you find what you're looking for but some don't really put in an effort to help. You do not feel welcome coming into this store. Not one employee will greet you, or ask how you are... nothing. The employees are very rude, as I was in the fitting room (in which I let myself in because there was no employee as I was standing for a few minutes) anyway, I was in there for a while, had lots of clothes to try on & there was a foreign family not too far from me, the man had asked some questions about some of the clothes & as I have mentioned he was foreign & he doesn't speak English well, the employee responded to this mans question with " Didn't you already ask me that?" "I already told you no" that is NO WAY to treat a consumer. As I was at the register checking out, somebody had a question as I was up there( I wasn't asked if I found anything okay, how my day was, nothing) complete silence ... anyway, she had asked a question & the lady by the name of Kristen says " Cant you see I'm helping somebody, wait a second" & at that point I was fed up. The whole stores energy is very very negative, if you don't want to be there go somewhere else it's that simple. Find another job if you have 0 patience for consumers. read more

A lot of different styles of clothing to choose from. The price is always great! Customer service for this location is great and the store is clean. If you stop by the San Clemente mall, you must stop by H&M. There's something in there for anyone. This outlet is going to be packed once people realize how good it is. read more
