Love this store! They also carry men's clothing! I bought a Calvin Klein suit for my daughter's wedding and it fit great even before their tailor did some minor alterations. Their courteous staff were very helpful and throughout the whole buying experience I felt well taken care of. Terrible customer service!!!! Cannot even believe this a Nordstrom company. I ordered two dresses online and paid the $25 next business day shipping, as I needed the dresses for a holiday party on Monday. Shortly thereafter I received the normal email confirmation with my shipping tracking number. I opened it up only to realize my package was due to arrive Tuesday... 3 business days later. I called customer service and 1. Waited on hold for 18 minutes before someone picked up. 2. Explained the situation to a woman who proceeded to put me on another 5 minute hold 3. The "customer service" person then told me she would refund me the $25 and my package would arrive in 3-5 business days... no apologies... nothing! 4. When I asked why she said there was a mix up and that's why the company notified me RIGHT AWAY to let me know they couldn't send it next day. When I responded by saying they did not send me any special notification it was the typical confirmation and LUCKILY I opened it up... she just said "well we can refund you shipping costs and you can call us and return it at that point." 5. I asked to speak to her supervisor since my irritation had reached a max due to her disregard for my frustration/confusion or even an apology... she stated she cannot transfer me to a supervisor because "the lines are down". What the ... I thought I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack!!! This was worse then a call to Walmart!!! Beware of ordering online. read more

First of all-the treasure hunt has finally hit the downtown Bellevue market! This is probably the most clean and organized Rack I have seen! The Mens shoe department has everything from Gucci to Converse. The split level design also assists in separating departments so you know where to shop. There is even a cool cafe outside (but not part of Nordstroms) that you can "caffeine up" before hitting the store. My only gripe with this Rack is they just can't offer triple points enough!! read more

My 6 year old son and I were followed kept getting a drive-by from from a security guard while shopping for clothes in the men's department. While I was ringing up my purchases, somebody called the checker and asked if she were ok. I really had the fealing of being profiled as a shoplifter or scammer of some sort. It was very insulting to me. At first, I thought it may have been just the security guard, but when the checker was called and interrupted during our transaction, it felt more like a management thing. I love Nordstrom and normally I love the rack and everything it has to offer, so when I learned about the downtown bellevue location, I was so excited of the Convenience of how close this is to my house. That being said, (this is long overdue) I went in looking for some luggage early last summer and fell in love with a full sized, large calpak set the minute I walked in. Obviously, I wanted to keep browsing the store, so I took the luggage up front to ask if it was possible to keep this up front while I shopped around and found my son in the store (who had gone and wandered for his own treasures). I stood up front at the counter for a solid 2-3 minutes in sight of the cashiers whom insisted on finishing their loud complaining conversation about their shifts and other employees. When they finally acknowledged me and I asked if could leave my luggage there while I continued shopping, she stared at me silently for an uncomfortable amount of time with the biggest "you're an idiot" look on her face before responding with "we don't do that." Turning away and continuing her conversation. Mind you, this is like 9:30/10am when the store first opens.. it's not like the line was long, she was swamped with go backs, etc. Nonetheless as a former Nordstrom employee myself, I was appalled and honestly really put off. My son luckily made himself to me at the cash wrap at that moment, I bought the luggage and have refused to go shopping there since then. read more

I've been to the store 5 times since they opened. Every single time I've had a horrible customer experience. It seems that the staff has not been trained at all: Cashiers not knowing how to look up returns by using a credit card, not knowing how to ring up an alteration, the POS system charging me for alterations when I'm a level four. when I picked up my alterations I had to wait 20 minutes until someone was able to assist the cashier on how to find the alteration and she just handed me the suit as is. I had to ask her to put it in a garment bag. There's no sense of urgency from the staff. I'm extremely disappointed as this is not what Nordstrom is known for. read more

I am a former Nordstrom employee so my expectations are more than HIGH and an employee named Vin not only met, but exceeded all I expect from a Nordstrom employee. He was very helpful and attentive. The level of service he provided made me forget I was at the Rack, it was actually better than any service I have recently received at the full line store. Yesterday I attempted to return one ($18.97 value) item purchased 9/3/2020, was told it was past their 45 day return policy (barely) so I was told they couldn't take it back. Called the Customer Service line, spent :18 on hold then got thru. Explained the situation, AND that I had already reordered the correct size I needed last week (still same price)...they are still selling the item. I was told they could only give me just $10 back for my new & unused item-even they are still selling/still have it available in every size! Unbelievable. I was shocked as it is less than $20, and why I called them, I have been a loyal (currently Ambassador Level, usually level 4) Nordstorm shopper for over 25+ years, but my loyalty has been shattered over less than $20. I would understand if the item was no longer being sold. I was planning on going to the main store shopping event which starts today, as I have many holiday gifts to purchase forms family but am thinking of shopping elsewhere. I will now go to Macy's, Soma or online for my personal needs. read more

I don't even want to give them 1 star. The customer service is terrible in this store compared to Factoria and totem lake one. They changed returning police on Feb from 90days to 45 days without notification. And they acted like it is customer's fault to return item in 50 days. I don't mind to keep the item but how they communicate is really terrible. Be careful to shop there. read more

rude woman at the dressing room would not let me try clothes on and there was 25 min until they closed . super lame. i wont shoo there again. the clothes are not merchandised well anyway . they have the designer clothes all tuck in corners not on display in anyway . shoes are in boxes and the size 8 with boxes in one isle . obviously this is not a good location . they won't even send it merchandise. read more

2 stars for The Rack... Big Fat ZERO for the parking garage policies and astronomical rates !! Last minute stop to the new Nordstrom Rack at Lincoln Square South; I found myself leisurely culling through the latest deals and a guilty pleasure I have all but forgotten; however, my rediscovered bliss was short lived when the parking attendant demanded payment and challenged me and my blatant disregard for the fine print. Equating to 'validation for a 3 hour window' and not a minute longer which I was not aware that I was not able to 'just shop' and regardless of spending $1,000.00, I would be charged the difference. ...? As I entered Lincoln Square South parking garage, it was not on my mind to be looking for any 'fine print' or exclusions (I was, after all DRIVING) and what I recall seeing... Validation -The Rack.. Obviously, I was still under the impression that my parking would be complimentary when I was being rung up and when I asked for my ticket to be validated, it was not disclosed that I had exceeded any complimentary validation window. It would have been helpful for someone at the Rack to mention this policy or remind a customer 'we only validate for 3 hours'....I would not have been so surprised when I wanted to exit the garage. I was feeling good... and even, successful; as my spontaneity yielded a few 'must haves'; discovering I owed parking, not so much. Is the Rack telling their customers they are no longer allowed to browse? I am not sure I would want my customers to limit the time they spend in my store and would assumes any customer wishing to be eligible for complimentary parking must set a timer 2.5 hrs to allow for making a purchase (sans any lines) and rush back to your vehicle (God forbid, you don't forgot which floor and where you parked) and customers better NOT exceed that 3 hr window, even 1 minute or the parking attendants will have their hands out. Why does the Rack even bother to offer validation? Why do they not have an announcement, reminding customers of the complimentary parking? (3 hrs....3 hrs...3 hrs) In the end, my positive retail therapy moment was crushed by the OUTRAGEOUS parking fees and the attendants who shout a price to you and literally hold out their hands. I was shaking my head in disbelief, I literally could have walked there ....or, driven the 2 blocks to Bell Square and parked for FREE... !!! It is funny that the reference to parking I did see posted 'park for 'free' on the weekends'..?..? (which I think may have only been another 2 hrs away) I am upset over the principle and feel nickel'd and dime'd every day and these 'parking mongers' are the WORST !!...Parking rates in Seattle and Bellevue are out of hand; parking lot/garage operators are just Greedy! Parking needs to be (fairly) regulated with (reasonable) flat parking rates and should be complimentary based on purchase total. Parking garages are a money machine out of control; commandeering thousands of spaces all over town; floors and floors of revenue and other than someone manning a ticket booth (here and there) they have ZERO overhead. It is not even supply and demand....just straight up exploitation. I swear, I am (almost) off my soap box ..but today felt a lot like being at the DOL; shelling out $100 on car tabs for a decrepit 2nd vehicle from 2004....(ugh!) It is no wonder, AMAZON is killing the Brick & Mortar...Amazon doesn't charge a customer to leave their site and with Prime, it comes to you.... FREE. It is sad to see when customer who prefer a tactile experience of shopping in store are ultimately taken advantage for patronizing that store; bottom line, read that fine print (but don't become a distracted driver in the process) ....,remember, nothing is 'free' ....especially, parking validation! read more

General comment for Nordstrom Rack online. Nordstrom Rack is unbelievable horrible! Horrible customer service. Because I haven't shopped there for over a year and returned some of the things I bought, they determine I am not a viable customer and deactivated my account. Blocked me from making purchase online with my Nordstrom credit card. How unbelievable is that?! There is nothing in their return policy that says if you return more than you keep they will deactivate your account. They don't even notified you before they do it. They just simply block you. I had to talk to several customer to understand what is going on when I was having issue logging on. They still allow you to shop at the store, but just not online. How does that make sense?! Nordstrom used to be known for their great customer service, but seems like things have changed and how they do business. Time to bring my business and money somewhere else. read more
