I got a coupon for free coffee up to $7 so I decided to make a visit here that I otherwise don't really, since prices here are fairly high for the drinks they have which feels mostly standard. I got the more unique one like the lavender cardamom cream on cold brew which is about $6.50 after tax. The flavor is pretty fragrant and works well with the drink, and the presentation is fairly on point too. It is convenient to the light rail station and I would recommend if you shop around Westlake and want to get a drink. read more

This is for the in-house snickerdoodle cookie. Everything I want in a cookie, chewy, thick, slightly crispy edge, insert every other complimentary word ever. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did, also didn't expect to pick up a cookie here. I am just blown away by how good it was, 5 out of 5, would frequent again for the cookie alone. This is an excellent meeting point to grab caffeine and start running around if you plan on shopping or being in the retail core. My favorites from here have always been the rooibos tea as a latte, and the gluten free marionberry muffin but I haven't seen that one in a while. I know supply chain has been difficult with pandemic so I'm hoping those come back. It gets pretty busy but the line moves fast and the baristas are pretty efficient. I know this is also due to pandemic but the bar stools have been removed which I miss. It's a good spot for people watching while enjoying tea or coffee. Worst coffee and bakery products. Even after telling them that the cookie and Croissants were spoiled, they just ignored us. Brewed coffee was literally burnt. They had water pouring from the sink over the counter tops and all the raw materials were getting wet and mixed with unwashed utensils. We threw away the croissants and coffee. The only reason why I rated Ebar 2 stars because of the service that I received on Friday morning was horrific. The gal who works the morning shift, with a scarf wrapped around her hair, she was very unpleasant to talk with. When I come to Nordstrom at DT Seattle store. I go to E-bar and get some drink or light meals. I ordered Chai-Tea Latte with soy milk and smoked wild salmon this time. It was a very nice smoked salmon w slice of lemon, tomatoes, onions...under $6. Hot chai-tea latte was a little sweet and warm flavor. I feel calmed and enjoyed here. The male employee there was extremely rude, passive aggressive, cut me off and then charged charged me $11 for one drink that should've costed maybe $7. Between that and the coffee, my bill was around $11. Yowza. It was decent enough with a hard-boiled egg, some almonds, crackers, cheese ( one slice was hard and near moldy), peanut butter, 2 measly sticks of celery, and grapes. I had some time to kill before I caught the bus so I ducked into this Nordstrom E-Bar. It is not terribly large but cozy enough. It also has the added benefit of being right next to a bus stop! The mocha here I got was rather delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and the coffee wasn't bitter either. The whipped cream was a nice touch. I didn't get a chance to try other items but I will try to stop by another time and update this review. Seattle is really weird in that right outside a lot of tourist and shopping buildings there are just loads of bums everywhere. This place unfortunately is no exception. I was hankering for some morning coffee while strolling the streets of Seattle and saw this place. I'd been a couple of times to eBars in SoCal and I've always loved their coffee--much better than Starbucks, I think. A little bit pricier too but not by much. I had a caramel latte and it was really delish. This particular location felt very open and airy, and of course Nordstrom is right there in case you want to take a look. The Nordstrom eBar has a wide selection of savory and sweet treats, and they have a wide array of hot and cold beverages. Many cold beverages are bottled, which make them easier to "grab and go". The staff isn't necessarily rude, but they're not exactly the friendliest folks ever. However, they deserve the four stars I've given them. The coffee is amazing, and they make it fast, but they lack the friendly (but SLOW!!) service that the Starbucks across the street offers. Nevertheless, this is my go to place. Not gonna write about Nordy's, leaving that to everyone else. This, my friends, is about Nord's espresso bar. Not your typical coffee/tea/pastries/lunch destination, I know, but you should give it a shot! A Nords IceStorm is Far and Vastly Superior to a Starbucks Frappuccino any day. Like amazingly better. I also prefer the iced lattes from Nords over the ones from Buck o' Stars. Treats are decent, they now proudly serve Top Pot donuts. Most wraps and sandwiches are good. The pizza bagels are really good (get 'em toasted!). I think I had some Asian noodle salad once that was horrible, but that's the only thing I can think of that was bad. As a nice touch there are cookbooks, dishes, some odds & ends that I've turned into last minute gifts. Hehe. Service isn't usually up to par w/ the rest of Nords Infamous Customer Service, but oh well, I'm not about to spend $300 in the eBar so that's OK w/ me. Though the line does tend to move slowly -- Starbucks has everyone beat when it comes to mechanizing the process. But I think it's worth the wait. read more

Walked in here to grab a snack and an iced coffee before the movie. We ordered a Blueberry scone and an Iced coffee. I asked if they had agave and was happy to know that they did. However I wish they wouldn't use so much of it.I substitute sugar with agave to make myself less miserable about wanting sugar. The lady who made my drink poured so much of it I gasped and it was too late to say anything. End result was that the drink was overtly sweet. I was happy to have a cold drink in my hand but was no so excited about how sweet it was. My husband took a sip and lectured me on how I should control my sugar cravings. So that's that. My suggestion if visiting this joint is to ensure to communicate exactly what you need and by that I mean the amounts of whatever is that you are finicky about. The blueberry scone was A-ok . The total was $ 7.x which is a good pricing for a huge scone and a Grande Iced Coffee.. This cafe is a boon for shoppers like me who spend a good amount of time in one establishments. read more
