Blended mocha, Amanda palmer
ThuyVy N.

This place is nice with a corner view of SLU. We got two pastries and two drinks. Would be a nice spot if you're already in the area and need time to kill, it's also in the same area as mochinut and mbar. The service was great with the cashier offering to warm up both of our pastries. But I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Ham and cheese croissant - 4.5, it was ok but it was warmed up and it was still cold in the middle so every bite was cold and warm and that was very odd Seattle angels cookie, peanut butter, oat, chocolate cookies - 6, not bad, we got warmer it up. Wouldn't get again wasn't it was bad Mocha blended 4.5 - too sweet, overall wouldn't get again Amanda Palmer - fancy special Arnold Palmer - 7.5: it was good, very sweet but we got at 7:30 in the morning but if it was 2pm and hot, perf. Add some vodka extra perf

They have good coffee and good service too. I had the Medici which was like a mocha with an orange peel it. The latte art was beautiful.

Latte is pretty good! Rich, smooth, at perfect temperature. Cold brew is just ok - tastes herby for some reason. Very friendly staff and cool and clean environment.

So bitter ! The latte art was cute but it didn't taste very good. There was not much flavor. And they gave me a different coffee than I ordered. I tried to order the Medici but when they gave me my order they said the Gibraltar, looking at the menu I believe I did get that one instead. The barista seemed kind of annoyed and in a rush even though I was the only one there, getting a coffee to-go, and it was not closing for another hour. It was quick though and the interior was nice - it was bigger than I expected and there was lots of seating inside. They sell a lot of merchandise too, there were items such as Caffe Ladro mugs and coffeemakers to buy. It was not very busy or crowded at all. It was walkable and the area was nice, it was by the little indoor complex that has mbar.

I love Caffè Ladro, best espresso in town IMHO. Today I was driving back to Bellevue from Seattle and I spotted this Ladro, and decided to stop by and get my usual Gibraltar + espresso chocolate cake. Unfortunately the cake is still not available, they stopped serving it during covid, but the Gibraltar came out perfect. So velvety and with the intense aroma of the Ladro blend beans.

Cafe Mocha!

Hands down the best mocha! At least for me lol. It's not overly sweet like other cafes. And the Ladro espresso coffee they use is too die for.

Very chill coffee spot. Delicious coffee and very friendly barista :) she was kind enough to explain the Latte art process to us step by step as there were no other customers waiting at that time. Unfortunately as of October 2020 you can only take the coffee in to-go cups but they have a few seating options.

Pretentious coffee? I donno, if by tucking the coffee machine under the table is a good thing, but when everyone is wearing canvas/denim aprons.. well... at least the coffee is tasty? It may seem like they are a little good for you, but service is just fine. What works here, is it's fast, and quick... they service you with wooden plates, and well, I think it's not bad. If you are in the area, not a bad place to come get your morning coffee.

Wow. Locally owned family made coffee made in El Salvador. Has a very distinct taste unlike anything else in Seattle.

Had a dependably good hemp milk latte here (have been to other Caffe Ladro locations). Cashier and barista were nice, and the oatmeal raisin cookie was really tasty - on the softer side rather than crunchy, which is my preference. There is some seating, but note that there are no outlets as far as I could see. There is only one at the tall skinny table inside the general building, and it is hidden between the 2 parts of the metal leg (I submitted a picture).

This Ladro location just opened up a few weeks ago, and it definitely feels new--the decor is beautiful and comfortable, and the entire presentation is very orderly and clean. The cafe occupies a small corner of the 400 Fairview building--it has doors to the street and is open on one wall to the rest of the building. I came here late but it doesn't seem to be a crowded location--people tend to grab a drink and move on. There is really nothing to complain about. Plenty of seating for its size: total of 18 metal stools and chairs set at two bars (one high one low). No tables, so this may not be a great place to meet with others if table space is required--but for single or two-person parties this setup is pretty ideal. The prices are very reasonable--only $2.70 for an espresso doppio, and the most expensive drink on the menu is a 16oz mocha for $4.90. Kathleen was my barista today and she helpfully explained the three "Signature drinks." Medici = orange-zest mocha Gibraltar = espresso with slightly cooler milk (ask though--that's a very weak description) Shakerato (pronounced Shah-kerr-ah-toe) = espresso mixed with cane sugar in an ice shaker. I got this (pictured) it was very good! Got an Americano afterwards (decaf espresso this time) and it is wonderfully smooth. Lastly, this corner is a large bus stop--if people-watching while you drink/work is your thing? Definitely consider this location. Free public wifi, closes at 6pm on weekdays, and hardly crowded--an excellent spot for some solo-coffee enjoyment.

One visit was earlier in the morning, and the place was packed. The line was nearly out the door. The second time was later in the morning; the pastries were wiped out, and the place was still decently full of coffee drinkers. I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure!

I first tried the turon matcha which I thought was good but had a mild banana flavor. I was expecting more of a caramelized flavor but I still thought it was good. The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. I loved everything about my experience there and would absolutely go back. The employees were also so sweet.
