The Most Convenient Spot For Me! SITREP Did I really just say that? "The Most Convenient"? It IS when you are bringing dear ole mom to the hospital for a series of appointments and you have to wait a few hours and you do NOT want to do it in a hospital waiting room. THE SETUP And "The Most Convenient" part comes in when you see that this delightful cafe is located with it's outside-entrance back into the first level of the Bayview Hospital building itself. From Coffees, Teas, Pastries, Yogurts, Juices, to many many other breakfast-focused, lunch-focused items, Diva Espresso is a fantastic spot in terms of "the goods": we thoroughly enjoyed our coffees and bagels here enjoyably while waiting for the 1st appointment. THE DIVA KRISTEN Props to Kristen who was my go-to gal here at Diva. In fact, I think of her AS "The Diva" in Diva Espresso! Full of warm laughter, a bright smile, and a sparkling personality. She kept me happy with my beverages and pastries. POSTING Then after escorting mom to her first appointment, I was able to come back here, park my ass, and enjoying a couple hours of peaceful posting with my laptop, getting coffee refills, and warming up to the vibe of this sweet coffee house. THE LOWDOWN Such an ideal find for anyone doing personal hospital-business here at the Bayview Hospital, even MORE so for the employees of the hospital whom I saw in droves over the course of 2-3 hours.

I don't usually leave reviews but diva espresso makes some good coffee! I'm not much of a coffee person I usually do mine at home but I had asked of something not too strong and not too sweet and they gave me the perfect one! Customer service is honestly good they always have a positive attitude will definitely recommend trying this spot if you haven't already!

Stopped by to grab coffee before an appointment, and it was great location. I got a Iced Latte and it tasted good.

It's a complete change without that lady manager from before. I love Diva Espresso and this place is a good go to for quick eats and a good cup of Espresso. Super nice and welcoming crew, thank you for making mornings hood again .

Cute little coffee shop hidden in downtown. I wouldn't expect this cozy shop to be located here but it is very welcoming and it gives me drive through coffee stand vibes with their seasonal drink menus and decor. I got a matcha latte it was ok, a bit too much honey which I didn't know was included in a matcha latte? Anyways, friendly and cute spot that I will probably go to often since it's near my work. I love their menu with a lot of options the prices are similar to other coffee ships about $6 for any 16 oz drink.

This is my go to latte place. Their holiday lattes are TOP NOTCH for sure. I love their PSL. They currently have a sugar plum fairy latte which is caramel and marshmallow which packs great flavor without being too sweet. Devine! They will heat up a great selection of sandwiches for lunch as well. Staff is always friendly. Worth a stop if you're on first hill or even just because

One visit was earlier in the morning, and the place was packed. The line was nearly out the door. The second time was later in the morning; the pastries were wiped out, and the place was still decently full of coffee drinkers. I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. They serve it right with sparkling water on the side. Absolutely perfect! Out of all of the coffee spots in Seattle, Anchorhead Coffee is worth the visit for sure!

Its nice and sweet, hints of honey, and the coffee flavor is not so strong where the bitterness overpowers the flavor. I wish they had more locations outside of Seattle, this place is truly soooo good. However, the cup is small and its a bit on the pricier side for the size you get, but its a great coffee shop to try when youre in Seattle!

The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. We were finally in the area to try Phe out and once we got there we were not greeted by the staff but with a long line. This only meant the drinks are really good right? Once it was our time to order, the lady behind the register had the most bothered face on her. I understand, dealing with a "rush" of paying customers, it can get overwhelming, but it shouldn't be taken out on others. Anyways, we tried very hard to be nice to the worker and we asked questions about the matcha to get an idea on which to order but her attitude was completely disrespectful. I don't think this worker wanted to answer any of our questions or even help us at all. She laughed and with an attitude said "ha what?" when my friend asked about the matcha quality and notes that can be expected. Again, I understand working in customer service can get overwhelming sometimes, especially on a Friday morning but this experience just made us very uncomfortable and not welcoming in the slightest. It also makes it difficult to justify a $12 matcha when the staff is horrible (receipt in picture). The drink itself was good and the presentation was great but I'm sure you can find the same elsewhere in the city with much better customer service.
