The Most Convenient Spot For Me! SITREP Did I really just say that? "The Most Convenient"? It IS when you are bringing dear ole mom to the hospital for a series of appointments and you have to wait a few hours and you do NOT want to do it in a hospital waiting room. THE SETUP And "The Most Convenient" part comes in when you see that this delightful cafe is located with it's outside-entrance back into the first level of the Bayview Hospital building itself. From Coffees, Teas, Pastries, Yogurts, Juices, to many many other breakfast-focused, lunch-focused items, Diva Espresso is a fantastic spot in terms of "the goods": we thoroughly enjoyed our coffees and bagels here enjoyably while waiting for the 1st appointment. THE DIVA KRISTEN Props to Kristen who was my go-to gal here at Diva. In fact, I think of her AS "The Diva" in Diva Espresso! Full of warm laughter, a bright smile, and a sparkling personality. She kept me happy with my beverages and pastries. POSTING Then after escorting mom to her first appointment, I was able to come back here, park my ass, and enjoying a couple hours of peaceful posting with my laptop, getting coffee refills, and warming up to the vibe of this sweet coffee house. THE LOWDOWN Such an ideal find for anyone doing personal hospital-business here at the Bayview Hospital, even MORE so for the employees of the hospital whom I saw in droves over the course of 2-3 hours.

Stopped by to grab coffee before an appointment, and it was great location. I got a Iced Latte and it tasted good.

I don't usually leave reviews but diva espresso makes some good coffee! I'm not much of a coffee person I usually do mine at home but I had asked of something not too strong and not too sweet and they gave me the perfect one! Customer service is honestly good they always have a positive attitude will definitely recommend trying this spot if you haven't already!

It's a complete change without that lady manager from before. I love Diva Espresso and this place is a good go to for quick eats and a good cup of Espresso. Super nice and welcoming crew, thank you for making mornings hood again .

Cute little coffee shop hidden in downtown. I wouldn't expect this cozy shop to be located here but it is very welcoming and it gives me drive through coffee stand vibes with their seasonal drink menus and decor. I got a matcha latte it was ok, a bit too much honey which I didn't know was included in a matcha latte? Anyways, friendly and cute spot that I will probably go to often since it's near my work. I love their menu with a lot of options the prices are similar to other coffee ships about $6 for any 16 oz drink.

This is my go to latte place. Their holiday lattes are TOP NOTCH for sure. I love their PSL. They currently have a sugar plum fairy latte which is caramel and marshmallow which packs great flavor without being too sweet. Devine! They will heat up a great selection of sandwiches for lunch as well. Staff is always friendly. Worth a stop if you're on first hill or even just because

Firstly, it's hard to find good coffee at Harborview, and Diva is conveniently across the street.

Loved the vibe, friendly & mellow staff, and the seating area space. There are long tables to work at, comfy seating with games, and chairs to enjoy your coffee with friends. I ordered a drip to try out...did not disappoint. My kids ordered some iced coffee - sorry I wasn't paying attention when they ordered - and they were delicious! We did order a few food items to share for a snack but they were gone before I could snap a pictures. The coffee was perfect, no hint of burnt flavor. I heard the food was also good but it was gone before I sat down. The merch was simple but you will want to buy it all!

We came in on a rainy morning and found seats next to the glowing fireplace. Talk about cozy! Massive windows overlook the chaotic market below. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, a few food items, and snacks. My salted caramel latte was pretty incredible. This might sound cheesy but as I drank it, I really couldn't believe how exquisite it was. Very lightly sweetened, unbelievably smooth, the foam holding its shape all the way to the last sip, and that little touch of salt tying everything together. No joke, possibly the best latte I've ever had. Back to the space, it's dark, warm, and sexy, with soft gold and amber accents. It reminded me so much of the way I designed my own home so of course we ended up staying much longer than planned. We felt so at home. So if you're a coffee lover, you need to find this spot and experience it for yourself. One word - transcendent.

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
