I got my usual drink, the Usual which was great. I ordered the shakshuka, not the beef but regular. I told him the Shakshuka please. Turns out he rung me up for beef which was more expensive. I also can't have meat, I'm vegan. I specified having the eggs and feta on the side for my friend to eat. Lo and behold, they bring me beef shakshuka. I send it back, they bring me regular shakshuka but with the feta sprinkled on it. I just scooped it out in frustration. Super disappointed in the service. Not sure if it's a language barrier situation happening. I suspect they weren't adding my modifications on the iPad when I ordered, this way it shows on the receipt. Didn't want to be a bitch about it. But if I'm paying an arm and a leg for a child portion meal, the least you could do is get my modification right. Doesn't seem like staff are communicating with each other. portion was very small. I paid about 24 dollars. The pan was very small and wasn't filled to the top. If you see the photo you can tell they skimp out in the shakshuka. I paid 30 dollars including tip for the food and the drink. Drink was 6-7 bucks. Fucking insane. Also the kid who rung me up was so weird and sketchy. Very quiet couldn't hear him. Didn't apologize or anything when I told him you charged me for beef. Did NOT take initiative to issue me refund for the difference. Thought he just didn't speak English (I think they're Russian or something) but he spoke perfect English. I ordered an iced pour over (Zambia Kateshi Estate Anaerobic Natural) for $8, with tasting notes of pineapple, blackberry, and lychee. it was incredibly refreshing -- fruity, juicy, and vibrant. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a bag of the beans to bring home. My friend ordered an iced Americano, which was made with a light roast that had intense fruity acidity. it wasn't quite her style, but I appreciated that they didn't default to a darker roast for milk-free drinks. There was plenty of seating upstairs, where we relaxed and chatted over coffee. Overall, Push x Pull is a reliable spot if you enjoy specialty coffee. The baristas are serious about their craft, and I'd love to try one of their espresso-based drink next time.

I don't write many reviews, but this place deserves one…read more I've spent a lot of time searching for the best specialty coffee in Seattle, Portland, the Bay Area, and Austin. In my opinion, Push x Pull is the only shop I've found in Seattle that can truly compete with the best shops in those cities. I mostly drink cortado (a drink which leaves nowhere to hide) and Push x Pull executes them at a level I haven't found elsewhere in Seattle. The espresso is always dialed in, and the milk texture is ridiculous. The staff is also great. I frequently come in with my two young boys, who are not exactly known for sitting quietly, and everyone has always been incredibly kind and welcoming. If you're serious about coffee, go here.

The baristas made my drink and had forgotten my cookie, so we had to ask for it. The rating comes from the drink itself. I think I revived about 70% milk and ice. I couldn't taste the coffee at all. When I asked my partner, he said it didn't taste like coffee either. I could also barely taste the honey lavender in it. Generally, my coffee is always strong or too sugary.
