Visited on a Saturday with some friends, and as a bonus, they were giving away free mugs (woohoo, a nice little souvenir to take back home!). Ordered a Cortado, and it was honestly delicious. The cafe itself is stunning, with a moody, dark interior and atmospheric lighting, all while overlooking the bay. Definitely a lovely spot to enjoy a good coffee!

You should absolutely go as far as Anchorhead for one of the best coffee experiences in Seattle. Yeah, that's right. I know it may be sacrilegious to write that but its completely accurate. I visited Anchorhead three times during my four day stay in Seattle and every cup was as my neighbor Kathy says, 'To die for'. Well maybe not quite 'to die for' but pretty close. The inside is such a haven of peace and tranquility and I absolutely loved the vibe. There's plenty of space to chill or work or do both. My service was attentive and efficient. There's also Adirondack chairs outside if you want to watch the city chaos unfold.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
