I can always find something I love at Nordstrom. I always get compliments when I wear items from here. I shop in the BP women's clothing department. I love the addition of Topshop. All of the ladies who work over here are always so helpful and are really good at showing me the latest trends. The past two ladies have helped me piece together outfits as I try stuff on. The shoe department at this location is really top notch. There are other Nordstroms that have bigger selections, but this one has a manageable amount to choose from and really excellent customer service. I've never walked away from this shoe department feeling bad. Plus, they have so many sales- they aren't marked, so the surprise at the register is terrific. Terrible customer service. I had to speak to FOUR employees before I could do an exchange for a tank that is 9.99 and a Nordstrom brand. People say Nordstroms is helpful.....that is true....,but the workers at the Nordstroms rack at Cherry Creek were not helpful at all. They held up the line when this could have been a simple exchange. I have been to the other Nordstrom Rack stores and they are great. Won't be going back to this one. First employee rude and not helpful, second employee not able to locate my prior purchase ...it may have been her first day since she seemed clueless. Next she said she would bring over a manager. Third employee who is supposedly a manager (she is not) but she was not helpful and did not try to find the purchase in the system. Finally tell the story for a fourth time to a manager who first denies the exchange again.....I ask her to search again for the purchase and she found it. She did the exchange, but was a bit condescending. They made such a fuss over an exchange of one of their own lines and when they realized I was right they were not apologetic. Not going back to that store. Thank goodness the other Nordstrom Racks act more like Nordstroms. read more

I really like most of the sales people in the mens department but the male sales management comes off a bit arrogant and there was a guy in accessories who thought I was wondering around too much and offended me by insinuating I might not put an item back where I found it. My partner and I have a Nordstrom card but really try to pay cash for most items. I keep coming back because the people I have been acquainted with are really awesome at customer service. Great selections and quality clothing along with honest sales people in mens and kids shoes. Colby and Jeff are the two I can think of but the gals are wonderful too. Cole in shoes is a great for a W shoe guy. Love the kids (girls) shoes selection. I buy a clothing item at least twice a month so I shop regularly at Macy's, Nordstroms, Neimans and Finishline at Park Meadows and Cherry Creek Mall. read more

Terrible lighting in dressing rooms. Nice selection but I'll never try on clothes in their store again unless they redo their dressing rooms with better lighting. I'm fit, athletic, tall and thin but when under their lights I look horrendous. Every time I've gone in there I leave without buying a thing because of the depressing lighting and mirrors. read more

I am probably spoiled because I shop at the Nordstrom stores in Seattle WA area but the level of service at this mall is awful. First when I shopped the anniversary sale and I asked about the Encore section as I needed to pick up some pieces for my aunt, they told me to go to a different mall 30 minutes away. Disappointing but ok...I am staying at a hotel close to this Nordstrom so I wanted to give them another chance and again was treated poorly by the sales associate at the register. She said she was busy taking care of a large area alone. Honestly, I can sympathize but there is nothing I can do to help with that problem so perhaps the manager should be made aware? When I go to a Nordstrom being a long time loyal customer, I expect great service every time because that is what I thought Nordstrom is proud of. Maybe the hiring standards are much lower for this location. So I do not recommend visiting this particular Nordstrom. read more

A premium department store with premium prices is supposed to distinguish itself largely by superior service. At one time Nordstrom earned that distinction, but those days appear to be past. My girlfriend bought me a nice, expensive pair of wool dress pants as a gift. We went to have them hemmed and I expected a brief wait while that was performed, as had been my experience at Nordstrom in years past. Instead, they said they would be ready for pickup in a week! I told them we drove from Boulder, but that did not appear to matter. Long after they should have been ready, I called to verify that they were ready for pickup, which they said they were. We again drove nearly an hour to pick them up. Luckily I decided to try them on before leaving and found they had not been hemmed! The manager said they would do it immediately, which took about an hour. We were offered no refreshments, no apology gift certificate - nothing. This would be poor service for a budget department store. We got a very poor value and will not return to Nordstrom in the future. read more

I was surprised at the good customer service at this store from when I walked in to when I went to the makeup area. I am used to going into department stores and they think I'm going to steal or don't have enough money to buy their products. Nordstrom's at Cherry Creek Mall is awesome! Clean! Amazing! I visit the NARS Cosmetics counter weekly and Ahmana Aryan-Safi has always been there to help me. She has always been patient, attentive and always seeks to guide me the right direction. I always see her as she is a true pro, has been in the field since 2005 and knows her stuff. I was looking for a suit on January 25th for an interview. Lauren in the Women's department at the Cherry Creek mall went above and beyond customer service. She picked out my suit and figured out what size. She took me downstairs and found shoes to go with it, and then she had my pants hemmed to fit the shoe height. She called me in 45 minutes to let me know the alterations were done and even had it pressed! read more

I had a few more hiccups in my ongoing watch link problem. I came back to the watch counter at this Nordstrom twice more before I finally had a link swapped and my clasp centered. When I came a few days before Christmas, I actually was helped by the same woman who gave me my watch back after telling me over the summer that my wrist was too small and nothing could be done (after the original woman helping me told me it was no problem). This time though, she saw how off centered the metal clasp was on the back of my wrist and said I could come back in 20 minutes and it would be fixed. Came back after an hour and she handed it to me, then looked at it, took it back and said it wasn't done yet. She did something over at the other counter and brought it over again. We rushed out of the packed store full of last minute holiday shoppers and by the time I got in the car, I realized the clasp was in the exact same place. We ended up back at Nordstrom a few days later on an errand and I decided to try one last time. It was near closing again and a poor woman was trying to help a guy exchange a year-old, broken watch with no receipt, so she was manually looking up all of his purchases by month for the last year. So I waited a while, but long story short, I showed her my watch, told her there were 10 links on one side of the clasp and 12 on the other, and I wanted it centered with 11 on each side so the wide clasp didn't hang off sideways every time I put my arm down. She did it in less than 5 minutes and was so helpful and friendly in spite of quite a few people waiting around for her help just a few minutes before the store closed. During these two visits, we were also helped by other Nordstrom staff who walked us directly to items we asked about, searched for items in other stores on their computers and were generally all around extremely helpful while working past closing on what were non-working holidays for most people already. Definitely the Nordstrom I'm used to and grew up with. read more

Extremely, extremely poor customer service. Their customer service MANAGER and also, representative repeatedly said quite illogical and stupid things that literally made no sense. During a return both mentioned multiple times that the item was purchased 3 years ago. When I said to the first representative that this was entirely irrelevant because they have an open return policy, she agreed wholeheartedly. Then why did you open your mouth and say something irrelevant three times? Do you not have anything worthwhile to say? The MANAGER came and made the same poor excuse. There was another issue which I have no problem with, but their utter ignorance and stupidity was literally astounding. It was not customer service by any definition. It was people breathing in air and exhaling. Its irrelevant what the issue is or what their decision is, its the way people speak to you and handle the situation. I have never had a situation handled like this. It was like a bunch of baboons. I think anyone that knows me would agree I am a world-class shopper, I have shopped around the world, and I love Nordstrom's; the service in Boston at the Natick store is phenomenal. When two Asians walked in after I started my return, the first representative asked if we "were all together." Yes, I am related to every Asian person in the world. I don't ask every white person in the world if they are related to every other white person in the world. She was just very unsophisticated and inelegant. She asked for my card and then kept asking and fumbling for the spelling, she actually messed up a two-letter last name because she apparently could not focus/was too lazy to read the name on the card she had asked for without her brain exploding; then said, "Oh right, I have your card." THIS IS YOUR JOB. DO IT. Completely unfocused. Rudest example of customer service I have ever experienced. When you walk into the Nordstrom store in Natick, its amazing, The people in the store are gracious and classy. I will never set foot in this poorly managed store again. Myself and all the Asians I am related to (everyone in the world) are writing a letter to the president of Nordstrom; this store is a joke. In Boston they are sharp and used to dealing with extremely smart people, it would have been more satisfying to interact with baboons than these people. I went to Whole Foods after and it was an entirely different experience, wonderful! customer service. Wish I can give a negative.This is specifically a review for the women's shoe department. I just had the most rudest experience in my life. Some girl gave me attitude the entire time and manager Courtney who supposedly was suppose to help with an exchange was supposedly not around (my husband called and yes she was there) I was very nice at first but they were so rude and I was not happy. Chase Marvez (assistant manager) was rudest out of them. He refused to talk to my husband on the phone. Never felt like this rudely treated in my life. They really should NOT be working with people. My husband then called Courtney and she said I was rude. Excuse me?? I didn't even see you or spoke to you. She then said she will not help anymore with the exchange. I will make a complaint to BBB. No one should be treated this way. I am soooooo angry now. I have already left a message for the general manager. This is so not right. read more

The costumer service and selection at Nordstrom is the best. I am at the point where I dislike shopping anywhere else. This location is the most convenient for me. If you haven't used Nordstrom's personal shoppers yet - DO SO! It is the best thing ever! And it is free. All you do is give the shopper your budget, your size, your style and they pick out the clothes. This is a huge time saver! I have been working with Reinelle in the Cherry Creek store for over 4 years and she always picks out the best clothes. She is great about calling me when there is a sale. A nice Nordstrom outpost conveniently located in Cherry Creek! In a mall devoid of higher-end department stores, I prefer to visit this Nordstrom over the nearby Neiman Marcus any day! The customer service is excellent, and the cosmetics department is helpful and friendly. The day after Christmas this year, my grandmother and I drove from Colorado Springs to Denver, Cherry Creek. We spent most of our time in the shoe department and for great reasons. The first person who offered us help was a girl by the name of, Lindsey V. She was awesome! We looked and looked, tried on and tried on, she never acted as though she was irritated or wanting to help someone else. She was focused and so kind to us. I generally swing by the shoe boutique at Nordstrom's, nothing ever seemed to appeal to me in their apparel department. Whilst their selection of designer shoes is few (compared to Neiman's), it is fairly decent and they often carry things that Neiman's does not (or seems to be out of) such as Miu Miu. read more

I feel bad to hear about all of the bad service that other reviewers have had. However, I've always had great service here. All of the sales associates that I've dealt with are helpful, friendly, willing to answer all of my questions, and they work with me through all of my purchases. Not to mention that I never feel any pressure from them. I appreciate good service and quality products, and I will pay more for those things. I will also frequent the establishments where the employees take pride in their work and put forth the effort to take care of their customers. I've never had a bad experience here. I also take the names of the associates that go above and beyond helping me and will specifically request them when I go in. One sales associate was leaving the company b/c he received a position in his degree field. He called me up, told me that he was leaving and why. Then he introduced me to another associate and made sure she knew my size, styles I like, etc... I've also had sales associates call me and let me know if they got something in that I would like. Now, by no means am I a "big spender" or have the kind of money where I get ushered into a private room and sales associates start rolling out racks of clothing while I get served champagne and waited on hand and foot a la "Pretty Woman." Nevertheless, it doesn't matter that I don't b/c the sales associates still treat me like I do and they make me feel good and look good to. read more

This review is about the cosmetics department. What an amazing disappointment compared to the Park Meadows store. At first glance it is beautiful and well lit with every vendor we women love, however almost everything I wanted from Dior foundation to Anastasia was out of stock! When I asked the salesperson (who was very nice) was that normal? She replied "that some of the counters have been out of stock for months". Back to Park Meadows for me where that has never happened. read more
