If I could give a zero, I absolutely would. This company is completely unreliable. I ordered a bunch of home Theatre in wall wiring for my project and had it shipped via overnight to me through Norco. I was supposed to receive my product on Tuesday. Tuesday night I called and was told they had a truck breakdown and it would be delivered on Wed, Wed night I was told it would be delivered on Thursday, And Thursday night I was told it would be delivered on Friday. Friday is here and I still don't have my package and now Norco has told me that they don't know where the package is. On top of that, their "state of the art tracking system" doesn't actually tell me them where the package is, but only that it hasn't been delivered! I've had to push back my project over 5 days due to this as I won't get it until the earliest Monday but I'm not even hopeful about that. Honestly I would have been better off shipping first class mail as that would only take 2 days from Southern Cal to Northern Cal. DO NOT USE NORCO unless you plan 2 weeks for overnight service. read more

Norco Overnight merged with GSO, and it's first change was to provide shitty service to existing Norco customers, and then refuse to credit for late delivery. Bravo, GSO! A bit of advice to you, GSO -- when your law firm customer sends an overnight delivery to a business within the same city (BH), it expects the delivery to get there overnight -- not have the delivery attempted at 6:35pm (after business hours and when offices are closed) and then delivered at 1p the following day. Then when your customer gets word that the package was delivered and calls you out on it less than a week later, you would be wise to humble yourself and issue some sort of credit -- not charge full price and assert some B.S. "should have told us within 2 business days" reason to get a credit for the late delivery. Clearly you don't want our business, you don't deserve to get any business from Norco's customers. Like a cheap tattoo, GSO/Norco is a good example of "you get what you pay for", and proof that using a lower cost courier is not always the best choice. read more

Like the other posters, I paid for Overnight shipping after making an order on Monoprice.com, and made sure that the service was offered in my location - which it was. When the package didn't arrive I called customer service (which was a completely useless effort), as all they did was send an e-mail to their "24 hour officer" which wasn't open apparently because they kept getting the voicemail. So I received an e-mail about an hour later saying this - and I'm not even joking. "Please be advised: I will be out of the office Monday August 22nd and will return on Monday August 25th." What? I'm still trying to receive my package and I'm getting absolutely nowhere. They tried to charge me AGAIN to cancel the order and re-ship. Holy balls. Our office uses Norco and in the past three month of service, we have experienced constant late pick ups or forgetting to pick up packages. The customer service line or lack there of is constantly making false promises. They are uninformed and it seems like no one knows where their drivers are at any given time. read more

Horrible, horrible service. Needed an overnight delivery for Saturday. It's Tuesday and there is still no sign of the package. They are clueless as to the whereabouts of my pack and all they can say is it's "in progress". HORRIBLE!!!! As someone else pointed out they deserve a zero. I have on several occasions told myself never again but the convenience of the 9pm drop boxes is so alluring. I'm going to save myself the headache of trying to use their website and just use FedEx. I will need to have shipments ready by 5pm and the cost will be more but it will help me avoid the stress of not getting my shipments out on time due to their malfunctioning website. Every time they update the website there is some glitch and the order is not processed. I'M DONE!! Although I'm an avid user of yelp I just had never signed up. This has been my one and only experience withNorco and it was absolutely wonderful! I purchased a very expensive item from a small business and needed it sent from Santa Monica to San Francisco. It was a Sunday and I needed it by Monday before I left for my trip. I registered online, paid for the shipping, was provided a label and then the item was placed in the drop box on Colorado Street (7 days a week pick-up). I requested one overnight delivery (approx $47 vs. the $160 Fedex was going to charge me for same day delivery) and received it the next day by noon. Yes, it was actually that simple. I'm still in disbelief especially after having read all of the reviews. I did deduct a star however because although it did go very smoothly in the end, there was no customer service available to speak to on Sunday, so I REALLY just had to trust that it would work out. Also, deducted a start because when I called Monday morning to find out the status the customer service rep was not helpful. She had entered in the wrong tracking number and was not surprised that it was not found (which of course could say she may experience this somewhat often?). I called back shortly after and then spoke with someone who was SUPER helpful and even called the dispatcher to call the driver so I could have a better estimate of when the package would be delivered. I noticed all of the negative feedback was a collaboration between Norco and monoprice.... not sure if that is the problem. I realize that my experience may have just been lucky, but thought I should yelp about it regardless. read more

I'm not quite sure what happened here but this has been very disappointing. I asked and paid for overnight service. The next morning I got a call from dispatch saying that the parts weren't on the delivery truck because they couldn't find my home. The first thing I did was double check that I put the correct address in. Yup, you guessed it, I put the address in correctly. So after I gave dispatch some directions to my house circa 1986 style ("go to the cross streets, head north for 1/2 mile, turn right, if you see the house with the big sign on it you've gone too far."), I was told that they would be on the truck for tomorrow. Nobody could give an explanation as to why the driver just left them. Dispatch told me that my house didn't exist. I wish someone would tell the IRS that. read more

My packages were scheduled to be delivered 7/18/14 per Norco's website. No show. Called & complained & was promised they'd be delivered today, 7/21/14. Called this a.m. To be sure they were going to be delivered today. Customer service said they'd look into and call me back. I agree. If there was a ZERO stars, Norco would have earned those!! I live literally 30 minutes from the place I ordered from 3 days ago with the "Overnite" service option chosen. Guess what, NOTHING still!! This is the 3rd time I have had issues with Norco shipments from Monoprice. May be better on their lower end, but for me, is NEVER an option going forward. They flat out are the worst, and USPS runs a close second. I guess I will simply use the will call option and spend $10 in gas, than waste several days waiting for this horrible service company to not deliver. Oh, and compounded with the fact that 3 out of 4 deliveries to me were from some "kid" in a beat up Chevy Cavalier, that makes me way more comfortable in relying on them hahaha. This is the worst delivery service EVER! Don't ever trust them to deliver life saving medication to you as they lie through their teeth on their advertisements and also over the phone- Here's what happened: My medication was supposed to be delivered on 8/8/13. The idiot delivery person could not read English and delivered the door hanger to the wrong address. I recd the door hanger from a neighbor on 8/11/14- 4 days later who went around asking who the medication was supposed to be for. I called Norco on the same day and they promised to deliver the medication today before 5 pm . I called just before 5 as he did not show up and they said he would be there before 9pm today. It is 9:30 pm and I called the office and was told that they could not reach the driver as he was not picking up his phone because he was driving. If he is delivering medication, he does not pick up the phone from their own office staff? Great excuse but it does not fly with me. Pl do NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR THEIR SERVICE. On their VM advertisement, they assure that YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO ASK ABOUT YOUR DELIVERY BECAUSE IT IS GUARANTEED. Guaranteed when? After you die or die because you never received the medication due to their terrible delivery service? Sorry, but I have called 5 times in 3 days and have been told so many lies by their staff, I hope the public reads this and DOES NOT USE THIS SERVICE TO RECEIVE THEIR LIFESAVING MEDICATION as they have all been taught to LIE AND SAY WHATEVER NEEDS TO BE SAID TO GET YOU OFF THE PHONE. Bought item through monoprice.com on 8/1/13. Selected overnight delivery. As of 8/5/13 package is not here though received email from Norco it would be here today 8/5/13. 7pm nothing. I call Norco 1st rep says item has not been picked up yet. I say how can that be have a tracking number. He puts on a dispatcher. This guy verifies they have the package and it is still in the warehouse and to call customer service in the morning. Unacceptable. I insist you are a dispatcher get someone off their lazy ass and drive it over. I am an hour away and I want someone to drive here tonight and drop it off. AWFUL!! Horrible customer service. I returned a call from Norco regarding my package delivery attempt. They couldn't leave my shipment because they couldn't get past the security door and required a code to deliver the package, therefor the driver left and another attempt will be made the following day. There is no code, just a door. Lady I spoke to named Michelle was very rude and informed me "Dispatch called you when the driver was there and will you actually answer the phone tomorrow for the next attempt?" Really!!!!? The phone call/message I got said the driver already left. Of course, she couldn't help me with the option of me going to the facility myself to pick up the package because "it isn't possible" They obviously don't care about me receiving my package from my pharmacy on time even though special care was taken by the pharmacy for next day delivery to make sure my medication arrives on time. Ordered an item from monoprice with shipment from Norco. After a few days, I saw on the tracking page that it was attempted to deliver. When nothing happened a few days later, I called customer service. They told that they had not received the package yet from monoprice, and insisted even when I told that the tracking page tells something totally different, and I should call monoprice. When I called monoprice, they told me after inquiring at Norco that Norco cannot find the package any more. So Norco was not only incompetent, they also did not tell me the truth. Horrible service. I had an overnight shipment that I waited at home all day for, Norco said they came but no one was home?! Then they said they would deliver it the next day before noon. It's 12:30 and Norco still isn't here. Calling customer service takes about 15 minutes of waiting for someone to pick up. When I finally got someone, she put me on hold and hung up on me. I called back, luckily this time it only took 10 mins. to get through. read more

This company has been on time 95% of the time I've been with them for just over a year now (we receive a delivery EVERY day before 10a.m.). The other negative reviews I've read on here have a common denominator...and that's MONOPRICE! I've spoken with my driver about it before and monoprice does THEIR OWN labeling and, until they label it and give it to Norco, the courier can't deliver a package they DONT HAVE! People should do more research before going and blaming the 1st person they see (which would be the driver whenever they do show up). Little tip for all you...get the number of Monoprice if you're going to order something there...they're probably (not saying Norco wont make SOME mistakes..anyone who has a job can attest to the fact that things happen) taking (or took) forever to get the package labeled and over to Norco. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE (1) POSITIVE REVIEW NORCO RECEIVED IT'S DATED AUGUST 19, 2013. I'm required to pick a star otherwise I wouldn't. I sent a Christmas package via Norco through my office on 12/19/14 with a delivery date of 12/23/14 by end of day. My package was referenced PERSONAL. We put 6 boxes INSIDE the LOCK-LIP drop box for delivery on 12/19/14. On 12/23/14 in the late afternoon the recipient sent me a text saying the package hadn't arrived yet can I check on it? The next morning we looked up the shipping label the package was never scanned in for delivery. Three wonderful women from our office called and called and hounded NORCO as to its whereabouts. It turns out the package was somehow located in their warehouse opened from the bottom both packages removed but left the cards. Why wasn't the package scanned in for delivery yet found in their warehouse with the contents stolen. The FACT is that once a package is put inside the drop box it can only be removed with a key. They questioned the driver he stated he found the package next to the drop box already opened with its contents removed. Let me get this straight he picks up the opened and emptied package puts it in his truck, never scans it in, never notifies a supervisor or anyone for that matter then he takes the box and stashes it in the NORCO warehouse mind you it was the only package marked PERSONAL Conclusion the driver stole the package and its contents, the package can only be removed from the box with a KEY. NEXT STEP FILE A CLAIM. When you file a claim they have not information as to where their drop boxes are you send them letters they dance around and never respond. I was told 18 days ago that Kaycee Fink would be contacting me that very day. Today I sent a 2 page letter with 8 photographs not only to Kaycee Fink at NORCO but I copied their new owner GSO. You can't imagine how quickly she responded. I received an email from Kaycee Fink, Vice President of Human Resourses that states and I quote; OUR SERVICE GUIDE is located on our webpage at www.norcodelivery.com under the tab Customer Care TAB on DOWNLOAD Service Guide. I bring your attention to the DECLARED VALUE statement on pages 13 and 14 stated as follows; blah, blah, blah we NORCO don't have to do a thing and we're not going to so kiss my ass and stop bothering me with your letters and photos. read more

ZER0 stars. Dont order through NORCO. Pay extra with another company. I should have seen the reviews before i did. I ordered cables from Monoprice with "OVERNIGHT" shipping. Its been 6 days and i still haven't gotten anything. Its the weekend now and i have to wait 2 more days till Monday. The tracking says its been sitting in the same warehouse this whole time. I emailed Monoprice, who contacted Norco. Apparently Norco LOST MY PACKAGE IN THE WAREHOUSE. They cant find it. Monoprice is gonna resend my cables through UPS this time. Lesson learned. Reliable Service Since 1957??? Very UNRELIABLE I would say!! The company didn't lived up to it's promises. Purchased speaker wire at monoprice 5/27 and paid for an overnight shipping via Norco. Item still wasn't picked up after 2 days 5/29. Norco's "sophisticated" tracking says item is already shipped and delivery is in progress. Spoke with Nathan or Ethan at Norco says the driver didn't got my package today for delivery. It turned out that the item is still in the warehouse waiting to be pick-up and that is a FALSE INFORMATION! Monoprice has to get a different courier for my item to get delivered hopefully today. Beware consumers, pay a little extra to a different courier if possible and sure enough you'll have a peace of mind knowing that your package will come to you in a timely manner. Wake up Norco, your getting too many negative reviews or comments. Wish there's negative stars I can rate for this company. read more
