During a recent move of my mother-in-law's house an older .22 rifle was discovered. I knew it had to be cleaned and oiled and I found Norco Armory on Yelp. I brought it in to be cleaned up and they guys took care of it. Great price and fast service considering what I was asking to be done. This is by far my favorite gun store. I can spend a long time in here talking to the staff and checking out the constantly changing selection of rifles and pistols. They recently expanded, making a huge difference in the line of products that they sell. Ample supply of self healing targets as well as paper targets, wide variety of cleaning kits, tools and brushes. All of which are either fair priced or a great bargain. Ammo is usually always in stock and hell, sometimes they even have 22lr on the shelves. I've been looking for a particular hand gun that's extremely hard to find. I randomly walked into Norco Armory and talked to Jeff about if he could get this gun for me. He checked his vendor database and found out there is one available. I said I'll buy it if he can get it. Jeff called his vendor the next day and found out that the vendor didn't have it anymore. Jeff then went above and beyond any sort of normal customer service and kept looking for what I wanted. About a week later Jeff emailed me saying that he found one and that it would be at his store in a couple days. My overall experience was far above excellent! It's a little out of the way for me to go to Norco Armory from where I live and where I typically go shooting, but I just happened to end up there a couple of weeks ago looking for some 9mm ammo. I was actually very surprised by this store, they had plenty of ammo in various calibers at very fair prices. Right after that, I signed up for the newsletter and caught a sale they had going on so I picked up a 10/22. I went in, asked about the sale, paid for it and started my waiting period without any hassles. When I went to pick it up, not only did they have the necessary paper work in line, but Jeff was willing to answer any questions I had about anything. You would think that she would have let me know that they were closed for the day. She didn't. So I found some time today to go return that garbage. I was going to keep them for a souvenir but Troy suggested I return them. I walked in and was greeted by his wife who was pleasant. I saw he was busy with a client so I waited there respectfully. His wife was very nice, asked if I needed assistance but I opted to wait. I do prefer to deal business face to face. I waited patiently for maybe 10 minutes or more. I wasn't there to disrupt his business or demand an apology of any sort. I came to make things right so I can delete my bad review and move on. I support my local businesses especially businesses that have lots to do with my 2A rights. As his clients walked out, he stood in the back of store with his arms crossed staring at me. I'm not into all that bravado BS so I walked over. I guess he didn't want to feel like he was being submitted. Macho.I respectfully greeted him. He already had the money out on the counter. He responded to my greeting still with his arms crossed. I handed him his crap and he gave me my money as promised in his email. He didn't defend himself or his actions. I walked out right after I bid a good afternoon to his wife. So all in all, this just shows this is not a business that is here to help you out with its services. Maybe only to clients he accepts. His only interests are his own . Again I was here on a referral and instead of giving my money to a big money corp like Turners, I decided to go here to support you as my local business thats 2 minutes away from me.Do I still feel frauded? Yes, because if I didn't know any better, the moment picked me and I had to use that garbage to defend myself, my family, or my neighbors, I may as well shoot them myself. Just went in today to get my Rock Island Armory .45 repaired. As it turns out the last gunsmith I had taken it to put the seer spring in upside down. The owner is a genius with guns. The gentleman before me had an older 20 gauge shot gun that had ejected an important part....he took it apart right in front of us ,went through the gun and refitted the part. He did the same with my 45. He took it apart and fixed it right there in about 5 minutes. I have never seen anyone with this knowledge of all different types of guns. Needless to say he is busy but it's definitely worth the wait and the prices are very reasonable. Not only that but he is a super cool guy with a fantastic wife who handles the paperwork. I usually don't bother with these type of reviews unless I am totally impressed AND I am impressed. And no , I am not a relative or friend and was not paid for this review.
