They could have easily sold me on replacing my timing chain, gears and all the parts that it takes to rebuild that area but instead I was advised that it would be best to have the transmission checked out first before spending $2500 to $3000 with them. The car is only worth about $5000 so it wouldn't be worth spending all that money on it to then have the transmission break down on me and I would have to spend another 4-5K. Thank you for honesty!

The guys at Boradori genuinely care about their customers and want to help you in any way they can. I know! I experienced it when I had my car serviced there. The smog shop I took my car to give me a detailed inspection report, letting me know everything wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. I called and set up an appointment at Boradori to get it worked on Upon bringing my car there, they let me know that I wasn't scheduled for any work to be done on my car, but that I scheduled for an estimate. They quoted me $200 and let me know that they would need my car for the whole day, even though over the phone i let them know I needed it back by 4pm. Apparently there is no way to get work done on your car without them performing their own estimate, even though I had the codes printed out and the inspection report totally done. They essentially wanted $200 to read the paper that I brought in for them. They also turned me away from my early morning appointment, and scheduled me for sometime next week. Will not be donating $200 to the shop to read codes & wont be going back

I was in and out really fast though, in a "jiffy" I suppose, which is why I went to them last oil change instead of my usual, Oil Changers. With Oil Changers, my rule is, "If there's a line, don't go." I was overdue and Oil Changers had lines every single time I drove by or called, so I decided to go ahead and get it done at Jiffy because I was going on a trip. Another plus with Jiffy is that you can choose to wait in the car or inside, and inside was much more comfortable for a very hot day. I also didn't realize they vacuum for you! This might have been something for them to mention if it's a new customer. I totally would have cleaned out my car first, which was a MESS, had I known. So I didn't even get that added value that would have at least cooled the burn of the high price.
