This place is a ripoff. The price sign is posted in the waiting room area and they still overcharged me. Along with the overcharge, the person that did my smog inspection broke my cup holder and didn't let me know. Just left it there for me to see. They are not responsible for the damages that they make to your car (as you can see in the posted sign below the price sign). Shop around the area before you stop here because they are irresponsible for many of the actions that had taken place during my visit. Don't be fooled, you have been warned. read more

This is what Ma & Pa businesses are all about: Customer service! They treated us, and our older car with respect. We plan on bringing the car back as time is money and money is time. They will do a repair on our car that will be about the same as "OUR" time and money. I love this place. The couple who owns it are super kind people. I had never been in here before and they had me in and out in like 20 minutes. It's warm and cozy in the waiting area and nicely decorated. Honestly it's like going to your favorite grandparents house, they even have a candy dish. Just got my smog check here. Wowie, what an amazing place. I don't usually write reviews, but 30 minutes ago I begrudgingly left the house to get my smog check, and now I'm sitting back home in a better mood and eating some free starburst. First of all, the business is just such a pleasant environment to be in. There's pictures of family everywhere and tons of little books and nice pictures and messages all over the walls. I was excited to see those little word search books. You know the ones I mean. Gina and Bert were total sweethearts. Very warm and friendly people who made everything quick, easy, and a pleasure. The level of care they have for the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers comes across with everything they do. Lastly, the smog check itself cost $20 less and took 2/3 less times than I expected. I sat down with the aforementioned word search book and by the time I had finished one page, it was 10 minutes later and I was all set to leave. Very nice folks, friendly and efficient. Homey comfortable feel to the waiting room including candies and I noticed some toys for the kiddos to play with and lots of reading material. Smooth process, called at 9:50; would I like a 10:30 or 11:00 appt? Price was $41 just like I was quoted, all fees and taxes included. I might have been there 20 minutes. The place I normally take my cars to for smog checks was closed, so I checked Yelp to see if any local smog shops had good reviews. B&G Smog had good reviews, so I gave them a try. It is run by a husband and wife, husband does the smogs and wife runs the office. They prefer appointments, they have a nice waiting area, and they were super nice. I had a great experience and I will take my cars to them in the future. I have already referred family and friends to them, and I got great feed back on their visits. I found this place by using yelp, and I wasn't disappointed! They fit me in quickly and even helped with advice about my gas cap. The technician was very nice and the counter clerk was so incredibly friendly. It's so nice to come into such a pleasant environment. It's very clean and homey in the waiting room too, which is always a nice surprise at a smog check place. Family run businesses are a gem to find....and this location was truly a treasure.
