Quick and efficient, friendly service!!!! Definitely gonna be my go to for smogging all our vehicles

Great experience! I called the day before and was informed that only take walk ins. Overall it was quick, simple, and cost effective. I will definitely be going back. read more

I was in and out in 5 minutes. Quick, courteous, and clean. I will definitely be back next time I need a smog check.

Best Price in town. Are fast and knowledgeable in their trade. I will come back if I have any other vehicle to smog. read more

This place is a ripoff. The price sign is posted in the waiting room area and they still overcharged me. Along with the overcharge, the person that did my smog inspection broke my cup holder and didn't let me know. Just left it there for me to see. They are not responsible for the damages that they make to your car (as you can see in the posted sign below the price sign). Shop around the area before you stop here because they are irresponsible for many of the actions that had taken place during my visit. Don't be fooled, you have been warned. read more

B & G Smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Oroville, California

Arrived at 7:30 AM. They took me right in. It only took 15 minutes in total and I was on my way. Very efficient, clean and friendly.

This is what Ma & Pa businesses are all about: Customer service! They treated us, and our older car with respect. We plan on bringing the car back as time is money and money is time. They will do a repair on our car that will be about the same as "OUR" time and money. To add a finishing touch of good ol' business, we received a simple "Thank You" card in the mail for bringing our car to be smogged. Now when was the last time you received a Thank You card? read more

Just got my smog check here. Wowie, what an amazing place. I don't usually write reviews, but 30 minutes ago I begrudgingly left the house to get my smog check, and now I'm sitting back home in a better mood and eating some free starburst. First of all, the business is just such a pleasant environment to be in. There's pictures of family everywhere and tons of little books and nice pictures and messages all over the walls. I was excited to see those little word search books. You know the ones I mean. Gina and Bert were total sweethearts. Very warm and friendly people who made everything quick, easy, and a pleasure. The level of care they have for the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers comes across with everything they do. Lastly, the smog check itself cost $20 less and took 2/3 less times than I expected. I sat down with the aforementioned word search book and by the time I had finished one page, it was 10 minutes later and I was all set to leave. Honestly, it's a shame that smog checks are so infrequent because I'm looking forward to coming back. read more

I love this place. The couple who owns it are super kind people. I had never been in here before and they had me in and out in like 20 minutes. It's warm and cozy in the waiting area and nicely decorated. Honestly it's like going to your favorite grandparents house, they even have a candy dish. Gina even took me back into her work space and showed me all of her puzzles that she's glued together. It was super cool. read more

Favorite smog shop. Best service. Won't go anywhere else. The married owners are friendly and will get in you in and out in a timely manner. Some shops in town are exactly the opposite. read more

Very nice folks, friendly and efficient. Homey comfortable feel to the waiting room including candies and I noticed some toys for the kiddos to play with and lots of reading material. Smooth process, called at 9:50; would I like a 10:30 or 11:00 appt? Price was $41 just like I was quoted, all fees and taxes included. I might have been there 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place. read more

Greatest people and service on the planet ( no kidding ) ! I took my SUV in to get a smog check at B & G this morning & it was the greatest experience with any automotive service shop I've ever had in my life. This shop deserves all the praise they can get. Simply Awesome ! :-) read more

Really the nicest people ever! Smog check was very fast but we almost didn't want to leave! Very cozy and pleasant waiting room with lots of fun toys for my son. Brightened our day to be there (seriously!) and we'll definitely go back whenever we need a smog check. read more

This is the best smog shop, bar none. Honest and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

The friendliest most honest & caring business I've encountered in the area since our move after losing everything in Paradise. Service is fast and they know what they're doing. It's great to know there are people still living "The Golden Rule"! read more

The place I normally take my cars to for smog checks was closed, so I checked Yelp to see if any local smog shops had good reviews. B&G Smog had good reviews, so I gave them a try. It is run by a husband and wife, husband does the smogs and wife runs the office. They prefer appointments, they have a nice waiting area, and they were super nice. I had a great experience and I will take my cars to them in the future. I have already referred family and friends to them, and I got great feed back on their visits. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. read more

Fast and friendly! Went in on my lunch break and was out in less than half an hour. The customer service was great as well and you can't beat a business that has a dog for the office mascot! read more

Great smog shop in Oroville. The people there are very pleasant & the waiting room is comfortable & homey. I had to take my 3 yr old little girl with me & I was very happy they had an adorable (& CLEAN) kids corner in the waiting area. We will definitely be coming back :) read more

I found this place by using yelp, and I wasn't disappointed! They fit me in quickly and even helped with advice about my gas cap. The technician was very nice and the counter clerk was so incredibly friendly. It's so nice to come into such a pleasant environment. It's very clean and homey in the waiting room too, which is always a nice surprise at a smog check place. Family run businesses are a gem to find....and this location was truly a treasure. The icing on the cake was that I even got a thank you note....who does that? Well Brett and Gina Russel do! I definitely recommend this business! read more

They did a great job, no appointment needed. Mom and pop style what great service.
