    Burrito

The food here was decent, it's clear they do a spin on some breakfast favorites with a southwest flare. The breakfast burrito does not come with a meat option, it is an up-charge which is unfortunate. Both Benedict's we've tried here have been good but need more hollandaise sauce. They do make a great drip coffee! Nook is a reliable downtown option if you are okay with breakfast being a bit more trendy than classic.

Came with a friend and it was good. Service was okay but it was very busy. We ordered the breakfast tamale pie, poblano breakfast sandwich and scones. Tamale pie was different and smaller than when I had previously gotten it, so I would not get it again. There were also issues with temperature. The "tamales" were hot and were more like slices of cornbread but good. The eggs were cold and carnitas was chewy and way overcooked. My drink was delicious. I tried my friend's breakfast potatoes and they were okay. Nothing to write home about and needed more seasoning. He did enjoy his food tho. Scones were the best thing on the table. Absolutely divine . Had a great crust, biscuity and scrumptious. I would definitely order these again.

After having my blood pressure raised by the pretense that is Time Market....Nook was a blessing... Smack dab in the middle of DT Tucson on Congress, pretty much forget about parking your car close by unless you pay. Ambiance/Cleanliness- Excellent...white walls, wood accents-airy, well lit, with a welcoming and warm character. 4 stars Service-acceptable...right in the middle, nothing noteworthy. 3 stars Food-Fine meal! Get the scones! Proper scones, ours had fresh blueberries and the most excellent crust. I had the poblano sausage breakfast sandwich which was delicious, hearty and savory without being too heavy. Got the hashed potatoes ...decent, but forgettable. 4 stars

Breakfast burrito with steak + strawberry matcha. Absolutely delicious

8/8 would come here again. The only issue is coming here on the weekends. I tried for months getting in but they don't seat very fast. That's ok, came on a Monday. Food was really good and severs are also attentive. Would definitely come back again.

Located in downtown Tucson, it was easy access from our hotel and a modern menu with a great staff. Food was enjoyed by all and it gets better as time went on. We'll definitely try this restaurant in our future travels. Highly recommend. Felt like sitting in our local restaurants in Vegas. So glad we tried. Good ambiance and good feeling.

There is no place I would rather have breakfast in Tucson than at Nook. I love sitting outside and having an amazing meal. This time I had the honey-chipotle carnitas Benedict and it was so flavorful. Our waitress was also friendly and the place was clean. Nook has my highest recommendation.

I rarely get downtown, but met some friends for brunch at Nook. I had never been here shockingly! It felt very popular on arrival with a wait, but I had made a reservation... score extra for permitting reservations. The hostess at the front seemed a smidge cranky when we arrived as when I checked in and said we had an 11A rez, she barked 'is your whole party here, because we don't seat unless everyone is here'. It was the way she said it and the audacity of me checking in prior to everyone's arrival. Not generally an overly sensitive person - and initial greeting is key Miss Hostess. Nonetheless we were seated and had a truly wonderful brunch. Loved the menu items, they felt super unique and different or at minimum a different spin on a traditional brunch/breakfast item. We started with some Latte's and I will tell you to hard pass on dropping money there. The milk was barely warm and they just didn't taste that great. We also got the protein carrot bread to share and it was REALLY delicious. Made up for the espresso drinks and cranky hostess. We waited nearly 45 minutes to get our breakfast which seemed kinda long so thank goodness for the carrot bread. My husband got the steak/eggs and loved it; friends got benedicts and omelet's and love their dishes. I had the Tamale Pie and it was absolutely flavorful and delicious. Our server was wonderful, kept our water carafe full and checked on us just enough.

I finally tried Nook and have no idea why I've waited so long. Everything was amazing and the service was great. We started out with the warm blueberry scones for the table and I ordered the breakfast tamale pie for my entree. Both were heavenly and the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. The price point was reasonable and service nicely paced, even during a busy Sunday brunch. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant was hard to fine. The name gives credence to the location as it is a literally nook, comfortably tucked away from view in a sunny courtyard. The food did not disappoint. I had the hanger steak and eggs for my entree. The steak was perfectly cooked and accompanied with a chimichuri that mixed in chipotle pepper for a smokey taste and a homage to the desert southwest. The other surprise was the Hawaiian mimosa that included pineapple juice, coconut run and grenadine with the champagne. Amazing flavors. I will be returning the next time I am in Tucson. The service was also very pleasant.

Very busy on weekends (at least midday). No reservations same-day, but I'd recommend making one a day or two ahead of you know your plans. We got an omelette and the ensalada Mexicano. Both were large portions and very fresh and filling. A bit of a wait for food, but we were also there at a busy time.

My son was here visiting so the foodie in me was game. He said it was the best breakfast he's ever had in his life. We both had the Benny. Service and mimosas were also spectacular. I'll definitely find an excuse to come back to Nook!

Pancakes, Scambled Eggs, Bacon and Potatoes. It was delicious!

These drinks are innovative, thoughtful, and aesthetically pleasing in a way that leaves you excited for more and expands one's idea of a well-made libation. Inspired by a medley of global flavors, Juniper started off as a side project from a local brewery and unexpectedly exploded into a swanky hangout with zero seats left open on weekend nights. Yes, virtually everything on the menu is gin-based. But that shouldn't scare you away! Gin is essentially a neutral spirit infused with botanicals and/or citrus, so if you had a bad experience with one brand, there will be another out there you'll fall in love with. Elliott, the General Manager of the bar, elevates the passionate curation of his menu to perfection. Here are some examples of what you might fall in love with: Balzy Maracuya: A 'maracuya' is a passion fruit beverage originating from South America. In this drink, fruity flavors are enhanced with popping boba filled with balsamic vinegar. Botanist: Upscale gin and tonic with thyme, rosemary, and star anise. Cronus Punch: Rum punch lovers will be blown away by the rare sighting of clarified gin On special ocassions, you'll find limited edition items like gin sorbet affogatos and horchata martinis. At the turn of each new year, there's a menu rotation that may sadly remove some of my faves. But here, at Juniper I can guarantee two things: Something uniquely enjoyable, and a gracious staff that will be happy to explain the intricacies of lesser-known spirits on the shelf. In 2026, I predict it will remain one of Tucson's hottest cocktail hangouts.
