Seafood Fried Rice
Iqbal L.

We had a great lunch at Noodle Wave. We ordered the Basil Fired Rice with beef, Sesame chicken, Seafood fried rice and Pad See Eew. We ordered spice level 2 which was perfect since we did not want it too spicy. The restaurant was quiet and the service was great. The server took good care of us. Highly recommended for halal Asian Thai food.

Panang Curry

I can only speak off my one visit that I found Noodle Wave packs robust, rich flavors in its dishes. My wife and I always test a Thai restaurant by our staples: panang curry, pad thai noodles, and tom kha soup. It was weird - the flavors of the pad thai and panang were not what we're used to. The flavors were very good, but simply not what we were expecting, like there is a plan B to putting these dishes together and we had only ever been served plan A. So it took some getting used to the tastes before we could enjoy them. The other weird thing is that while I don't think we'd ever order those two plates again, the flavors were so exotic and exciting that we definitely want to come back and soon. The menu looks very adventurous now that we know NW uses very fresh ingredients. The wait staff appears consistently relaxed and natural. I like that. Not overbearing or absent, nor fake or indifferent. Everyone seems themselves and it contributes to the calming experience I think eating Thai should be. Speaking of calm, love the design of NW. Not busy but not void of character. Just a good balance of atmosphere. I have a good feeling we'll be coming here often and enjoying a great variety of dishes.

OK so the best part about this place as we all know, is that they have halal meat. Unfortunately, I did not know that you did not get a bowl of soup in the beginning and that is only for a lunch so that was annoying. Fortunately for us, the food made up for that. The number one thing for me that I liked was that the children's meals came out really fast because if the kids are not happy-- nobody is happy. They got chicken nugget meals that come with ice cream, which is fantastic. They had Vanilla Ice cream, coconut ice cream, and green tea as well as options. Both of my kids chose vanilla and enjoyed it. I felt like the chicken was off in the noodle dishes, pad thai and pad see ew, and so I was not able to eat the actual chicken in the noodle dishes, but I did like the sesame chicken and my favorite was the Orange chicken. Their Thai tea is also quite good. Overall, I would come here again!

Yum Woonsen Shrimp and Chicken

Of all the Noodle Waves, this one is my favorite! Great service and really good food... how can you go wrong? This place is located in an unassuming strip mall, but there's plenty of parking. After you place your order, you're given a little bowl of soup. The best way to describe it is a Peanut-y Tom Kha. It's creamy, savory, a little spicy and very delicious! We went overboard for lunch and ordered enough for an army: Yum Woonsen - light and refreshing. The clear noodles perfectly absorbed the tangy lime dressing and the shrimp and chicken were cooked to perfection. Rama Peanut Chicken - this creamy sauce makes anything tastes good! Chicken was tender and perfectly spiced. Pumpkin Curry Shrimp - it's a seasonal item. It's close to yellow curry, but not as sweet. The pumpkin gives great texture to the dish. Lo Mein Kao Soy - tender beef with crispy AND soft noodles served with chili oil. Party in your mouth! Pad Thai - definitely a must when trying a Thai restaurant for the first time. This one is a little on the sweet side, but still very good. We washed it all down with a tall glass of Thai tea. Overall an amazing meal! One big plus, the food tastes great as leftovers too! I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.

I came here for a work lunch and it did not disappoint. I can't believe I hadn't been before and this is now on my top list for Thai food. The service was good and our server was attentive. The lunch entrees came with a soup and it was flavorful. I got the drunken noodles with fried tofu. The tofu was very good. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Good food; not amazing but satisfactory. Great service. Casual but neat ambiance. Price is reasonable.

Food was absolutely amazing especially the peanut udon noodles! The spring rolls were also amazing! The restaurant has a ver cute interior and the service is amazing. They do charge extra for steamed rice with your curries which is not something many Thai restaurants do, so that was a bit disappointing.

Party of four tonight. All dishes were superb. I had finger salmon and highly recommend it. We also had a Panang curry, Sriracha beef bowl, crispy chicken green curry. Service was perfect. Social distancing is excellent.

Just had to wait a bit here and there for a server to return when we were ready for more drink orders from the bar. All bartenders and servers were very skilled and customer service oriented, Even Coast probably needed one server more or something as it got full by 3 as the hostess had told me. Love the art deco mermaid pins the female staff wore, plus other unique thought out accoutrements. We like to share plates and loved everything we had! The oysters, burrata, smoked clam chowder, yellowtail curd, smoked salmon dip with homemade potato chips, and the fried cod, frites and Cole slaw. Some of us had cocktails- all great, then we all switched to wine, then finished with espresso martini and amazing dessert. Everything was expertly hand crafted (cocktails), and the food expertly prepared so our high praise and compliments to the Chef, Sous, Cooks, Servers, Hostess and Restaurant Manager, who did stop by and check on us. Thanks for a great experience! We'll return!

The food is consistently excellent. We went for dinner on a Saturday night (reservations are highly recommended). The wife had the chicken as a main entree. It was outstanding. The chicken was smoky, tender, and moist. It has a bevy of vegetables that are cooked perfectly. It comes with a side and she got the baked potato with everything. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. I cannot wait to return.

Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere immediately caught my attention. I'm always looking at restaurants through multiple lenses, and my first thought was that I could definitely host an event here, whether with athletes, business partners, or friends. There's a great mix of standing and seated space, along with a beautiful, spacious bar that would be perfect for an open-bar event. But beyond events, this is also somewhere good for a family dinner, date night, or business meeting.. We happened to visit during happy hour, so naturally, we took advantage of the oyster special. We eat oysters all over the country, and these immediately became some of the best we've had in Dallas. I'm a big fan of smaller to medium-sized oysters, and these were right in that sweet spot. Absolutely loved them. Next up was the Caesar salad. Sometimes you can just tell a restaurant should have a good Caesar, and thankfully, we were right. The dressing was excellent, the romaine was finely chopped just how I like it, and the croutons were actually good! And trust me, if the croutons aren't good, I'm not calling it a great Caesar salad. Everything worked perfectly together. Then we heard about the fresh catches and daily specials, and one immediately stood out: Alaskan king salmon served with creamed corn and chili garlic broccolini. How could we pass that up? We also added a side of mashed potatoes because, quite frankly, it just felt right. Everything was delicious. The salmon was great, the broccolini was a fantastic pairing, and the mashed potatoes were a great addition. My only small critique was that the creamed corn was a little sweeter than I expected, but it was still very good. And now, saving the best for last: the clam chowder! I am a HUGE clam chowder guy. If I see clam chowder or seafood chowder on a menu, I'm almost always ordering it. Partly because I love it, but also because I'm always curious to see just how well a restaurant can execute something that seems so simple. Our waitress, who was absolutely fabulous throughout the entire experience, assured me that their clam chowder was good. Well, she wasn't lying! I loved it. The flavor, the consistency, the overall execution. Everything about it was excellent. Easily one of the highlights of the entire meal, and something I would come back for specifically. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Great hospitality, great atmosphere, excellent seafood, and a space that works for just about any occasion. I'm already thinking about coming back, both for another meal and potentially to host an event. Definitely a spot I'll be recommending!
