I was disappointed with Noodle+. Some of the Yelp reviews were good and I was looking forward to the Pho. We ordered pork & vegetable dumplings, pork buns, and pho. I think what they brought out first was pork buns, though they really seemed more like pork dumplings and were just OK. Then we got the pho. We had to ask why we didn't get out other appetizer, they seemed confused about our order, though we couldn't have been clearer. The pho was... Not good. bland. The meat in it looked unlike any meat I'd ever seen before and didn't taste much like anything either. We finally got our other appetizer, I guess it was the pork and vegetable dumplings. They were just OK also. Sadly, I don't think we'll be going back, I really wanted to like this place, but nothing there made me want to return... And mystery meat is never a good thing. read more

Service and management was very poor. Will never return. We placed a vegetarian order and they brought the wrong dish with shrimp. After the manager realized that it was the wrong soup he simply removed all the shrimp( or so he thought) and returned the soup to the table. When I was half way finished with my soup I realized that there was a peice of shrimp left at the bottom of the container. After explaining that I don't eat shrimp due to religious reasons they argued that since I drank it I needed to pay for it. This was so disappointing. I told them that if I didn't eat it because of an allergy they could have jeopardized my health! They then decided to give us a 25% discount on the meal. I love this place. It's very cute and bright and small, which is perfect for a noodle shop They sell many kinds of dumplings, and rolls and noodle soups and noodle and rice dishes. It's a little slow, but not so that it's a problem. Everything is so hot and fresh. I have been 3 times. Love the soup dumplings, which you eat on a spoon. The soup spills out of the dumplings. We liked the pot stickers, which have a nice grill on them and the chicken and mushroom dumplings. They are delicate and served piping hot. I had the Singapore Noodles, which had plenty of curry flavor. The drunken noodles and the basil noodles my husband had very good and better when he asked for them spicy, but we like very spicy food. Another good one is pad thai, which was really delicate. Some places pile on the noodles and shrimp so that you have enough to feed a village, which I don't get. Here they have appropriate portions. Yet I have never finish one. This time we split a pad thai and had two types of dumplings. They also have steamed and sauteed vegetables dishes. The Jasmine ice tea with milk and bubbles (little gelatin balls you slurp up with a large straw) was fun. My husband likes the thai iced coffee, which is quite sweet, but it's supposed to be like that. Can't wait for winter to try the noodle soups, which is their specialty. read more

When it 1st opened i really liked the place, but now the service and the food has gone down. I ordered chicken basil, which i have had previously as well, but this time it was so HOT. I mean i can take spicy, but this was like taking a bite out of a hot pepper..when we told the waitress she said its not suppose to be that but 'but what do you want me to do?".. she was rude. I have eaten here only a few times. With the appetizer part of their lunch special they could offer a little more of the appetizer. I usually get the drunken noodle as an entrée. On a whole it is quite delicious, with the exception of the meat which I picked out and put to the side. Next day leftovers were so good. Once I made the mistake of ordering the bbq'd pork soup. It arrived in a huge broth filled bowl. The pork was inedible. I gave my husband a slice and he tried so hard to prove me wrong. He chewed and chewed finally he used a napkin and gave up. The broth had no flavor and had an off putting odor. I added some soy sauce, just a touch. It helped but the broth smelled like moldy socks. A waitress did ask how our meal was and when I told her she put her head down smelled my food and told me it smelled right. We moved the bowl away and I share my husband's meal. I am sticking with the drunken noodle and the Lad Nar which also needed a touch of soy sauce. This place is tiny and can get crowded. If the weather is nice I strongly recommend eating outside. During its busy time there is no room in there. It is very difficult to enjoy a meal when there are several people standing next to you and behind you waiting either to be seated or to pick up their meal to go. I have found that when eating in one is served more than if it is to go or delivered. Their teas are fantastic. I often stop in just for a tea. My beverage choice for the movies across the street (shhh. Our secret) they need to bring back the grapefruit tea. The sealer for their tea has been broken for several months so they do not have the sealed cover that one pops the straw through. They also only serve medium no longer is large an option. The bubble tea aka boba (large tapioca pearls) is my guilty pleasure. read more

Last week was great (had the Tom Yum noodle soup) but today I went back expressly to try the Vietnamese Pho soup, and it was terrible. I just finished picking out all of the beef, every piece of which is laced with stripes of serious gristle, rendering it not only unappetizing but inedible. I've never seen such bad beef anywhere. I also got dumplings today which are quite tasty, and a good thing, too, as otherwise I'd be eating plain broth and noodles for lunch. read more

A recent visit has really shown me how this place went severely downhill! Now the food is completely greasy with no taste. The portions are miniscule and you will leave hungry. There is a new menu, with higher prices. Service is slow and it it's depressing inside. The quality that was once there, is completely gone now. You can tell they really don't care anymore. It's just a business and it shows. The new management does not know how to run a restaurant and keep the customers happy. So happy to finally have a noodle place in White Plains! So far, everything that we've tried has been delicious. Stumbled upon Noodle+ on a Saturday afternoon and was drawn in by the decor. I wasn't expecting much from the pork soup dumplings but they were surprisingly delicious. I was a bit disappointed in the noodles in my noodle soup but I'd definitely go back to try some of the other items on their menu. I've made it a point to go back a few times for lunch. It's always busy for lunch, the Latina waitress that works there continues to bump into you (not once, not twice not three different times but four separate times. Fridays experience, finally she didn't come near me or bump into me. I began to wonder by the 3rd time if she was trying to shake me down or perhaps she's got a balance/sight issue. Ok food. Each of the times I ordered different items so I could get an idea of the place overall and ill give the apps a thumbs up, The Thai Ice tea is very nice. I get it with Bubbles. The veggie dumplings are very tasty. The dipping sauce can and should be better but tasted like a mixture of I'm not sure. (I'm not sure if they know themselves) The soup dumplings are great. So plus on that. Drunken Noodles with beef was ehh, ok but the meat was stringy. Takeout for the spring rolls became soggy due to the moisture. One had nothing but the tin the next time it had lettuce with a carrot dressing (if there was ginger it was imperceivable) So last week I went back to get my bubble tea, and figured lets try the Pad Thai. How can you mess this classic up? A lime that's brown should have been a clue. The noodles were a horrible clumped up mess. I asked for it to be spicy, I think that the chef just took powdered hot pepper and mixed it with the noddles, the best part of the dish was the Mung bean sprouts. They at least had crunch but I had to throw it out as it was inedible. They didn't even give me my receipt or change back. So I couldn't even prove my purchase to even complain about how terrible my lunch was. I will go back for the bubble tea. But that's about it. read more

Come here for dumplings! Soup dumplings were delicious and they actually carried out well (not the best idea but circumstances asked for it). The shumai is pretty decent, too. Noodles - epic fail! Drunked noodles were covered in a glaze that is super greasy. Think Chinese take out sauce. They were not even sauted well as the noodles stick together and the taste leaves a lot to be desired... needless to say, I cannot finish this meal. Warm soda and did not provide a straw for takeout. Not to mention they rushed through my order (did not ask for name for pickup) and added an extra item to my order and obviously wanted to charge for it. I'm so happy this place is here, I miss getting great noodles in NYC all the time. I've been several times, and have tried lots of the soups and dishes. The first time I ate here I had the Pho- and it was amazing. The beef was so tender, it melted in my mouth, and the broth was very flavorful. The roast duck soups are great, the drunken noodles have a good balance of spice, and the dumplings are all good. Over the summer they added a bubble tea machine and lots of specialty drinks, but most of them are way too sweet for me. This place is terrible, the food is almost uneatable. The bubble tea taste like flavored powder mixed with water, and it's not mixed well because they made it in a hurry. The Singapore noodle is overly cooked and they put too much curry sauce in there. The noodle has no texture and the sauce was so overwhelming. My new favorate place. The restaurant is small and somehow was cold when I came but that is not a big deal because the food is surprisingly good. We ordered chicken curry puffs, shumai, and classic pho. Shumai's were big and curry puffs were steamingly hot. Pho is good. Price is reasonable. My boyfriend and I just came in for a quick bite. We ordered the shrimp shumai which is filled with pork and topped off with a shrimp, and to my knowledge pork is not meant to be eaten undercooked. When the dumplings came out, they were cold and had some "goop" that you see when cooking frozen meat so I sent them back. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and the inattentive manager sent the same plate back out with even more goop and an unidentifiable liquid pooling on the plate. My guess is that the dumplings we initially got were microwaved frozen dumplings, and they microwaved it again when we sent it back. So we cut the "new" dumplings in half, and lo and behold, we still see raw meat. We called a different waitress, let her know that the meat inside is undercooked and requested yet again that she heat it up again for me. She took a quick look at the dumplings that were literally pink before our eyes and said: "these are completely cooked, sir, there's nothing we can do about it. Sorry." ......?? My dumplings are literally uncooked and you're sorry you can't microwave it for another 5 seconds? Our first visit a while ago was so disappointing but we wanted to give it another try but obviously, it was another massive fail. I eat here all the time. It's one of my favorite restaurants in White Plains. They've been adding new items to the menu and improving their existing dishes fairly regularly which is awesome. The soup dumplings here are excellent. One of my new favorite dishes is Chili Chicken, which might still only be listed on their chalkboard above the register. I've had most of the entrees on the menu and pretty much love all of them. Some of my favorites are the Khao Soi Noodles, Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai, and Pineapple Fried Rice. If you haven't tried bubble tea (milk tea with tapioca 'bubbles'), they have a nice selection here. The owner is very friendly and seems to care about his customers - in the winter they install a second canvas door to keep the cold air out. Sometimes the timing in the kitchen is hit or miss as far as getting all entrees at the same time, but it seems to be improving. read more

I've been here a few times since and I had the beef pho which was bland as hell! The beef was just there not adding a thing to it. I had the chicken noodle soup which again the meat was just there, flavorless. I had the duck noodle soup which I took home added sriracha, sesame oil, and soy sauce to it, then it tasted like something. My favorite noodle soup here is the Tom Yum noodle soup. The service was not that good...but, that's expected when you have kids running the place. The girl who works there was literally hugging and kissing her boyfriend at the front counter and didn't even notice anyone coming in.
