Choose your base of quinoa, brown or white rice and fill it up with fish, tofu or chicken. Add your preferred veggies and healthy fats and top it off with your favourite sauce and crunchy stuff. In front of me an excellent sushi wrap of white rice was made, including tuna, seaweed, crab, avocado, a mango dressing and sesame. Loved it. I bet normal people could lunch or even dine on such a wrap, well not me. Luckily Temakery has some side dishes to choose from, one of them being a bit naughty - well, according to FIT-girls that is. I am talking about the fried Korean chicken wings: covered in a somewhat spicy sauce and sprinkled with cilantro and crushed peanuts. Meat so tender that even your toothless grandparents could eat it. For sure that naughty is da bomb!

The prices are pretty reasonable and the food is pretty good, though I only tried the sashimi assortment (large) and can't speak to the hot food. The sashimi assortment came with a good amount of sashimi though it didn't specify what kinds of fish it came with, some were more a miss than a hit. Overall the fish was fresh and I enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow, but mainly because there was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant (and maybe just one chef), so not really their fault. All in all, decent place for Japanese food.

They did provide a little fried sesame meatball on the side. Overall everything was fine just nothing I would go out of my way for again. Perhaps other menu items may be better.

This place has good raamen! In fact, it's the only place in Noord-Holland (since it's just outside…read moreof Amstelveen, in Uithoorn) where they have good raamen! The first time I went here the miso broth was on the salty side. Last time it was perfect. The noodles are traditional Japanese raamen noodles, the broth is based on chicken and not pork, they have both shoyu and miso broths and they even offer a lunch menu deal with a slightly smaller sized bowl of raamen with cha shu (roasted pork) and a side of rice, some pork gyoza and a small salad. All that for €12 (check the pictures). This place is NOT operated by Chinese people like nearly all Japanese restaurants in Amsterdam! No, this place is operated by Japanese people who actually know what they're doing. They are open from 12-2 PM for lunch and I've only been here for lunch and not yet for dinner so I cannot say much about that. It's not a huge place but it's always filled with actually Japanese people and the occasional Korean people. This should mean a lot because it indicates that Japanese people approve of this place! I recently decided to not eat pork anymore, so finding the right raamen last time proved a bit lacking in choice. There seemed to be two raamen that didn't have pork but the one I ordered deceived me! I ordered the raamen called "spicy leek" (€11). No mention of pork or any other protein but the fact that all broth is based on chicken. It didn't come with a few slices of roasted pork. Instead it came with small chunks of lean roasted pork sprinkled all over my bowl. Not a problem since I don't refrain from eating pork based on religious reasons so my food was not "tainted" in my eyes. I just removed the pork, gave it to my happy carnivorous friend and everyone was happy again! Just good to know for all ya'll health conscious people who want to eat here. Tell them "no pork", beforehand. If I don't feel like traveling all the way to Dusseldorf for a decent bowl of raamen, I'll just come here again next time! Definitely good raamen and only 15-20 minutes away from Amsterdam by motorbike/car.

You can also choose to do take away and bring your order home with you. Due to the fact that it is designed to serve quick and filling meals, the menu is focused on main dishes and noodles. Food: 4/5 The food here is tasty and familiar, it is the standard dishes I would expect from a place like this - HK BBQ meat such as crispy pork, soy sauce chicken. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is that there isn't really anything else like it around. Of course, you can get the same take away from St. Anny Food but the difference in quality is tremendous (this is much better!!). Full Moon Express is the sort of place that I would go back to when I want typical Cantonese food. My recommendations: Anything from HK BBQ grill Service: 5/5 Super fast, this is the McDonald's of Chinese food. Atmosphere: 4/5 Cantonese cooking creates a lot of grease and I was surprised by how clean this place was. The counters are made of stainless steel and it just felt like everything was sparkling clean... I wished my kitchen looked like this! Value: 5/5 This is clearly subjective... In comparison to what you would pay for a meal anywhere else, this place is cheap, tasty and filling. However, I can't help but think about how much I would have paid in New York and how much it would cost to make it myself (though clearly my version would not be as tasty...)
