The restaurant looks lovely and authentic but the food is far from it. The standards of the food and service was below par. We ordered food and got it 30-40 minutes late. There was only 1 couple in the restaurant and we got there first, so it was not like they were occupied with other tables. I would hate to imagine if the restaurant was full,​ ​then we would have got the food a few hours later. To make matters worse​ the food tasted awful. The vegetables and eel was​ burned​ to the crisp and rice was very hard. I am​ accustomed​ to eating at a lot of Japanese restaurants and Asian​ restaurants and Nagoya drop the ball on the food and service here.
