    Lincoln Tour w/ My Dad.
    Ashlee Nicole S.

Robert was extremely helpful from the day I called to set the tour. I told him that I wanted my Dad to experience a specialized tour but recently it's been hard for him to walk long strides. He answered all of my questions and gave us a very special experience. My Dad, who loves history said that this was one of the best experiences of his life. The two of them had special dialogue and went over memorable events at the different monuments. I would 100% recommend and I will definitely look forward to working with Robert again. Thank you again for a great experience.

Booked them to go around and see the Cherry Blossoms due to our party's limited mobility. Patrick was AMAZING. We have been to DC so many times and have seen the monuments. He found ones we didn't know existed, had historical photos and told us the history. Truly made the trip memorable. Mom is still raving about it!

Great tour for anyone elderly. My 91 year old mom was visiting me and had never been to DC. I texted with Robert, who suggested a very convenient pick-up spot. We had a 3 hour tour with Fahad. All I told him at the start was she has never been to DC and to please show whatever major monuments you can cover in 3 hours. We had lunch booked at noon. Fahad's tour was FANTASTIC. He was so knowledgeable, fun and considerate. It made such a difference being able to bike through some of the monuments and bike up very close to others where we could do a short walk to see the monument and view. He pointed out places with bathrooms and elevators along the way. He would even leave the seat up for us so that the seat didn't get hot when we got back to the pedicab. Fahad pointed out the symbolism behind the design of the monuments and gave interesting mini-history lessons along the way. This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend this tour, especially for someone who cannot walk much. You will not regret booking a tour with nonpartisan pedicabs.

We had a blast on our Twilight tour with Barry. He took us to all of the places we haven't seen and was very knowledgeable with his narration. I highly recommend this tour!!

Had the best time with these guys.. My mother has mobility issues, needs a wheelchair to get around...this was prefect in every way to enjoy the sights in DC in comfort, on our own time and terms and to top it off these guys are passionate about what they do-Not only are they knowledgeable about the places and sites you'll come across but they also know how to run a business, Emails, texts and phone calls answered in a timely manner as well. They will also give a lot of insider tips on places to eat at and other sites to visit on your own...all valuable info that can make your trip even more enjoyable and memorable.. Top it off, they are really nice guys- Cant recommend them enough... P.S. we were so engaged in our tours that we failed to get some good pictures of us in the pedi-cabs...but here is one with Alex and you can see my moms wheelchair .They were so helpful with loading and un-loading and making sure my mom was safe. We took the night monuments tour and then again in the day..If it hadn't been so cold we would have taken a Georgetown tour as well..

He took us to all the expected stops, but made sure we got to see some of the lesser known memorials and monuments in the area like the one for John Paul Jones, George Mason and Albert Einstein. Besides taking in the gorgeous view of DC at dusk, I spent the entire time in awe of how much information our driver knew about each of the monuments. Did you know that FDR actually requested a very simple memorial - not the huge multi-acre one that we associate with him today? The original one is a stone the size of his desk in front of the National Archives. I had no idea! This is definitely my new favorite way to explore a city. Highly recommend.

Just wrapped up a wonderful tour with Robert over a weekend in May…read more My mom and I planned a weekend trip to DC from NJ. Knowing we only had less than 2 days to tour the monuments, in addition to the fact that my mother in her older age doesn't have as many steps in her as she used to - I was trying to get creative with our schedule to make the most of our time. A quick google search helped me land on this company. I always forget that the monuments in DC are quite spread out. Being on a bike is definitely your best option. I emailed the company on a Tuesday night before our trip and had a response immediately the next morning. Our guide Robert was very thorough, friendly, and flexible with our schedule. He also gave us a great suggestion to skip the Air and Space museum as part of it was under construction. He definitely knows DC quite well. He met us on the tail end of our visit at the Natural History museum and over the course of 3 hours we were able to see the Washington monument, Jefferson memorial, Mason memorial, MLK, Lincoln, Korean War, Vietnam War, and finally ended near the White House. We also would have had time for one more if we didn't take a break for lunch. Highly highly recommend this if your needs are similar to what I described above. Robert will give you a lot of historical context along the way.

Other than the predictable crowds at the Lincoln Memorial, we were virtually the only people at the majority of major sites on the tour. You aren't surrounded by the smog of multiple tour buses, nor hoards of other tourists. The meeting point is right in front of the Willard Hotel with the blue awnings, and just to give you a preview of the sorts of interesting details shared by the gregarious Chris, and the scholarly Reed, here you are. When Ulysses S. Grant was president, he used the Willard often for private meetings so when others clued into this behavior they would show up in the hopes of catching him for a few minutes or merely to overhear what was said. These interlopers were said to linger in the lobby awaiting his arrival, so he took to calling them, lobbyists. I love these sorts of facts! These men put their all into the tour, both literally with muscle power, as they deftly maneuver various barriers along the way, and with all their fantastic knowledge of the place. We spent almost four hours and I could easily have done an entire day with these gentlemen, as every minute was a discovery and a pleasure. Remember, this is a business, and if you enjoy the service, TIPPING, EACH OF THEM, generously, is the way to express it! There is a lot of D.C. to cover, I'll be back for another round during my next visit.

We signed up for the electric scooter tour (mostly at my behest - because I love them so:). My girl and I were a party of two, and we joined a party of 3 (mom and two girls) for a run ride out on the town. First, we met at the bike shop, where all the scooters and accommodations had been taken care of ahead of time. The shop is conveniently located by this quiet alley, where Barry gave us an overview of the trip, discussed any special considerations, went over relevant safety stuff, and let everyone practice and get comfortable on the scooters (in the safety of that quiet alley). All with a GREAT sense of humor and a smile. It was enough to put even that nervous mother at ease with her girls. (I'm not sure if I had more fun watching him at work with the family, or actually seeing the sites along the tour - haha!). He throws in a couple of bonus gems and things along the way. My guess is that every one of his tours is a little bit different from the ones before it. Then we went and did all the things. I think we were gone for a couple of hours total. I loved it. I'm not sure why, but the whole time, I was in just such a good mood. Thank you Barry, for bringing the joy to the ride. From the bottom of my heart, we are all still smiling. A was let on followed by B in an orderly fashion but C was a Free-For-All which sucked if u got there early & had someone in the back just run up ahead of you. 2) Not all seats have outlets OR footrests. You will need these footrests as the leather seats have a slight downward slope to them which was extremely uncomfortable causing you to edge forward. We had neither convenience in our seat row. 3) Nothing was shown on the TV's 4) Bathroom had no light at all. 5) getting luggage off is another Free-For-All 6) There was no rest stop to use a proper restroom or stretch your legs. The trip was quite reasonable: it got the job done and the comfort level was better than expected, despite a full train. Most passengers were considerate (except for one family that played a TV show loudly on a cellphone; an annoyance that reflected more poorly on them than bothered people sitting more than two rows away). I also liked it that my car at least had a faucet for dispensing drinking water, and a good supply of cups. On a long trip, staying hydrated is important. (I am not sure if all cars had water dispensers though.) My only complaint is the bathrooms -- they got increasingly dirty over the trip. Towards the last quarter of the trip, one of the bathrooms became unusable because it looked like someone peed on the floor. I don't think he (or they, if it was cumulative) did it on purpose; the toilets are very small, and on a rolling train, it's easy to miss. This is a micro hotel and the rooms are really small, so plan accordingly. No irons, ironing boards, coffee kettles or anything extra in the rooms and no place really to store your luggage. But, with that said, my room was doable, and the views were nice minus the construction all around the hotel. I did get a very nice view of the November supermoon from my 10th floor room. Bed was comfy and I did get to watch a bit of mind numbing TV when I could. Thermometer was easy to control, lots of hooks in the room to better use the space was really appreciated. Hotel has a nice restaurant and the bakery items in the morning and coffee were a godsend. I let management know that the rooms were quite small and no coffee maker in the morning and hotel was courteous enough to give me a $30 food and beverage credit at their restaurant. They have a bar in the basement and I've been here a few times and I like the cozy nature of the tucked under bar/restaurant. Good cocktails and typical bar food. Gym is located two floors below and had a decent amount of equipment and I got in a nice run here one morning before the conference, towels, water and sanitizing wipes were well stocked. Overall, a good stay, a no frills, solid stay in DC, good location with easy access to everything and metro stop right across the street. I'd stay here again.
