I can say that this was one of the best trips we ever had. Tim was early (30 minutes) or so. He waited until we were ready and we headed out. We laughed and joked all the way to the airport which made the ride go quicker than what we expected because we were having so much fun. We have been using DCAcar for several years and they DO NOT disappoint. All of the drivers are always engaging and professional and ALWAYS on time; even earlier than expected. Unable to make a reservation due to total incompetence! Their contact phone number kept disconnecting due to lack of cell service. Then the confirming email was wrong and I never received a corrected reservation (as promised). They claimed to have called me but there was no "missed call" on my phone, no voicemail, and no email. In fact, I did not hear anything back from them for hours until I finally sent an email to cancel. Then they started blaming it on me for not answering their call. I've encountered a disheartening experience with a service I had booked for an upcoming event. I strongly advise against using this company. The positive reviews you might come across are likely fabricated. The driver assigned, Odell, exhibited a lack of organization and responsiveness. Upon being picked up, the bellman at my hotel later mentioned that the driver appeared disoriented and the car had a distinct odor of weed. Odell arrived in a Tesla that hadn't been charged. When I inquired if it was charged, he assured me it was, but it turned out not to be. He seemed eager to hurry me out of the car so he could charge the vehicle. Throughout the ride, I attempted to reach him as he left the premises to get food, yet he did not answer the phone. I had rented the vehicle for 8 hours, and I did inform the company about the issues I encountered. Mary forwarded me to speak with the manager, Aresen, regarding the matter it was a hassle all he did was gaslight me and they wouldn't even let me speak with the owner Davit after I was told he would call me. read more

I reserved DCAcar for our international arrival to IAD- requesting the car for 30 minutes after scheduled arrival to accommodate the customs & baggage claim process. I then received an email stating that reservation time tracks the airline's official flight schedule and that the reservation time would be adjusted accordingly. I was consequently charged an additional $54 for the 30 minute wait time that resulted from the normal process of getting through customs/baggage claim. Had my initial request been honored our arrival to the car would have fell within the courtesy wait time. Be sure to confirm that DCAcar will honor your requested reservation time. read more

We made airline reservations and had a red eye into Ronald Reagan. When we went to rent a car, the rental location would be closed when we arrived from the west coast at 1 am. So made reservations with DCAcar to pick us up at 1 am and take us to our hotel in Springfield, VA. Then pick us up in the am at the hotel and drive us back to the car rental. We were able to, after much work with the airline get in to Ronald Reagan earlier. We cancelled our reservations with DCAcar with no problems. We had three people, bags and a folding wheelchair for a 4:30 am pickup - driver was early, friendly, helpful with the bags and very solicitous and kind to my 92-year-old mother.
