Everything you want for your ride to the airport. First and foremost, reliability. A friendly driver who shows up at the scheduled time. You receive a text confirmation the day before. A text when the driver is heading to your pick-up location and one when they arrive. Rides can be scheduled for any time - so you can get to the airport for those early morning flights. The driver is familiar with the area and traffic, so you can be confident to arrive on time. Rides are scheduled by phone, which I see as a positive and slight negative. Depends on your preference. If you travel often, having a service you can rely upon regularly is a real plus considering all the other headaches with travel. read more

I can't say enough good things about Steve and Bethesda Shuttle. I had an unexpected death in the family and had to fly from Sacramento, California to Silver Spring, Maryland with just 1 day notice. I thought about using Uber, but I wasn't looking forward to doing so. I went online to take a look at other options. I saw Bethesda Shuttle and read the great reviews and gave it a shot. I called him the night before asking him if he could pick up myself and my 2 kids at BWI the next day and take us to my Dad's apartment in Leisure World. I left a message and he texted me back immediately. He was wonderful to work with and was available to pick us up. He set up everything with minimal effort on my part. We arrived, exhausted from a long flight and he was there on time with bottled water for us. He drove us to Leisure World without an issue. He was friendly and personable. He was also available to take each of us back to BWI. He picked up all 3 of us at 3 different times and days (2 of the times were at 5:00am!). No problem. He was there for all of us. He made a very difficult time easier for myself and my family. I cannot say enough good things about Steve and Bethesda Shuttle. I highly recommend his company to anyone at Leisure World who needs a ride to and from the airport. I will definitely be calling him in July on our next trip to Maryland. Excellent service. We were late to realize that parking at DCA was not good in Spring 2022 (lots full, spring break volume, etc.) I called these guys the day before out trip. They were quick to respond and super friendly. Gathered a few quick details from me (how many people, how many bags, flight times) then called/texted back later that day with a confirmation and a quote, which they also followed up with an e-mail with all the details, too. The driver (Ben) arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) at our house, we loaded up and off we went. He was the same driver that picked us up as well. Super convenient, friendly driver, and could even be better than parking (drop off and pick up right at the curb outside the terminal, etc.) I'd recommend these guys to anyone!! read more

We actually got off to a bit of a rocky start - FlightTracker told him my flight was coming in 45 later than it did, so had to wait till he could get to the airport. But fortunately had nothing scheduled that night except dinner so it wasn't really a big problem. I told him during the trip to Bethesda that I might be at the National Archives when we were scheduled to depart on Friday, but he offered to stay in touch & work something out if he didn't have other passenger(s) scheduled at that time. As it turned out, we talked on the phone and he was able to pick up my bags at the Hilton while I took the Metro back to Bethesda so he could me up at the Hyatt (next to Bethesda Metro) and leave for the airport in plenty of time. Can't say enough good things about this experience. I had peace of mind which is not something I have gotten in my experiences with other services for the past 17 years. This year, I arranged for Steve to take my group of students from BWI to our hotel in DC and he provided excellent service every step of the way: as the owner of the business, HE took my call and told me he would get back to me promptly with a quote and did (a very reasonable one). He emailed a confirmation and also reminder a day before the trip. He called me when our plane touched down to let me know the shuttles were at the airport ready and waiting (he arranged two- a van and a small bus for our group of 14 so there was plenty of room for us and all of our luggage). He and the other driver got our luggage stowed away quickly. He had bottled water for us. He monitored the traffic and took an alternate route when an accident had just occurred a few miles down the highway from us. He got us to our hotel in record time and got our luggage taken care of. Steve is so friendly and easy to book trips to and from the airport with--he has brought our parents from BWI to Bethesda multiple times and it saves us the stress of rushing from work in traffic to get them and then having to drive all the way back home another 45 minutes. Also, it's so convenient knowing they have a safe, clean, and reliable way to get to our home and they feel comfortable using the service versus a taxi from the airport.
