These people had the nerve of making us wait almost 2 HOURS to deliver a pizza pie that was COLD and had canned disgusting mushrooms ( when they assured us they were fresh). When I immediately called and asked them to pick up the pizza and asked for a refund the rude employee told me "we'll refund you, don't call here no more". Food is always good the bbq slices to the buffalo chicken rolls, just the attitudes from the younger employees are terrible. I go here almost once a week and today I went in and got Shrimp Pesto Pizza, and I cannot describe my experience with words, this pizza specifically was the best food forget pizza best freakin good I've ever had in my life (and I've eaten some pretty damn good pizza mind you). Thank you for serving me with such goodness I REALLY APPRECIATE it. Like it was so good that this is the first review I've written willingly because I just think everyone needs to know how good this is as well as they deserve this rating. So yeah basically I recommend eggplant pizza or Shrimp Pesto Pizza. Shrimp Pesto is not always there so like go during the weekends or Friday. Not a fan!!! We are visiting from out of state and it is our last day here. We decided to get our pizza fix one last time but the staff at Nonna's put a bad taste in our mouth. Our total came to more than we expected so we questioned it when we came back to pick up the pizza. We were told that the boss has not updated the prices on the menu or board. When we told them that this is false advertising, we were brushed off and one of the guys even said they have no control over that stuff. This is just not how you operate a business. The customer is almost always right and prices should be upfront and correct. We will not recommend them to anyone and will advise our family to do the same. read more

Worst service ever, Came to Long Island to link up with a group of friends for a reunion. One suggested this place being close by. Called to place a large order, girl put me on hold. I hung up. Friend stated I was being to harsh, I stated I'm not being put on hold while attempting to give THEM business. So John called them, once AGAIN girl answering states "Nonnas Pizza please hold" over TWO MINUTES later he was still holding and hung up. Honestly, this is the place my family always goes for specialty slices. Favorites are the shrimp pesto, eggplant, and salad slices. Always filling and always fresh. We used to go to Mama Angelina's, but follows the chef who is at Nonna's now. So maybe the older reviews haven't been there since this change, and I recommend that they give it another go! read more

I'll start off with this place was a gem for a quick slice in this shopping center until it was sold to the new owners. The pizza is an inedible oil slick with low grade cheese. Adding more to the misery were plates of eaten food and crumbs on each sticky table, also the floor appeared to not see a broom or dry mop the entire day, if not week. Counter help is clueless, and cannot or refuse to follow simple common requests such as "Please make it just warm, not boiling hot" after which my request was met with 5 slices of pizza with the molten bubbling cheese falling off the weak thin dough. Also, maybe brush out the ovens every half hour or so like every other pizzeria does. The large black charcoal crumbs glued to the bottom of the slices made our decision even easier to throw everything in the trash can and forfeit our $22.73 and leave. I will never return, shame because this was once a decent place to eat. read more

Great selection of specialty pizza Regular style slices are well flavored and their selection of Italian plates have been great. The folks behind the counter are friendly. Nit sure they are priced high or not as others state but I think there is a lot of value for what they offer. We counted up 8 pizzerias in a 5 miles circle from our house. We tried most and hit up Nonna's only for a couple of years. read more

The prices they have posted are not the prices they charge you!! When i questioned why my total was so much more than i thought, I was told that the boss hadn't updated the prices on the sign. Nonna's is one of the best pizzeria's in the area by far. I can't believe all the bad reviews. Their pizza's are excellent quality, and they have a lot of original creative pizza's, outside the box, not like the usual pizzeria's around here. Came here today since my mother and I happened to be in the shopping center. Asked for a pepperoni slice and the guy behind the counter didn't use gloves to put pepperoni on the plain cheese slice, also got a Sicilian slice that was so burnt. While waiting for the slices to come out of the oven the same guy that didnt wear gloves proceeded to wipe his runny nose with his fingers and then handle someone elses pizza. Although the food is very good, the owner is horrible. We had food delivered, with everything going on the driver came to my door with no gloves and mask which is completely dangerous especially with this virus going around. We called the restaurant to advise the owner of the matter, he did nothing but yell and scream at us as the customer(telling us the kid didn't have it and to not worry...how is anyone sure about that especially doing deliveries & coming in contact with people) . Rarely do you come across businesses that actually have a strong overall Yelp review. The reasoning is because Yelp! is simply a sounding off board for complainers. And that's why I'm here...to write about how terrible this place is and always has been. No offense intended, of course. Having grown up in the area and always in that shopping center for carious reasons throughout the years, every so often I'll take a walk into Nonna's and they are consistently below average with their pizza. Gotta give them credit for that consistency but unfortunately it's for never straying from the path of being sub-standard.They're not far from Marshall's so if you want an overall mediocre day, go shopping at Marshall's and then eat pizza at Nonna's. read more

Nice big slices with a light, crispy crust that taste very very good. I'm only giving 3 stars because I just paid $7.50 for 2 regular slices and a small drink at noon, which I think is a bit expensive. Meanwhile there's a lunch special between 11-4 with 2 regular slices and a medium drink for $5.95. I realized this after I paid and I'm a bit pissed the young man that rang me up didn't say "if you get a medium soda, with the lunch special you save $1". I feel like I got ripped off. Best array of specialty slices that I've seen in years!!! We tried the chicken Marsala slice, tomato and pesto slice, and the shrimp a la vodka slice. Staff were very nice and friendly, don't understand some of the other reviews. Pasta Fagioli was huge and came with delicious bread. I've ordered before and it was good pizza, plus they delivered. I ordered pizza, knots, a soda and a side of sauce to be delivered. I was told 45 minutes yet it took over an hour and 15 minutes. Pizza was cold and they didn't deliver the side of sauce. Very disappointed and will not likely order again. read more
