Noches de Colombia is my go-to spot when I want good and quick Colombian food. Right now it has nice Halloween decorations which are cool! I don't remember Belleville having metered parking, so it was new to me when I went yesterday. Street parking can sometimes be hard to find. Server was very kind and accommodating. I went with an older person, and the man was very king when it came to specific needs that she asked for. I always order a bandeja paisa to share. It is so big so it can be divided between 2-3 people. It came with 2 eggs, steak, chicharrón, avocado, plátano, arepa, rice, beans, and sausage. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the soup of the day which was chicken. It came with potatoes and corn in it, and had a side of salad and rice. You can also order this just the soup. Visited this establishment for the first time at the location in Belleville. I found out that this is a chain and that they are individually owned. I was hesitant to come here because I did not care for the food at the location in Randolph, but I felt the food here was a bit better. The other location has closed. We ordered drinks and my Appletini was delicious. My cousin enjoyed her strawberry daiquiri. The drinks were very strong and I could not finish the second one as I had to drive home at some point. For appetizers, we ordered the Chicharron, which is fried pork rind. I felt they were a bit overfried. We also ordered Montaditos, which are tostones (fried green plantain) and each one came with a topping. The toppings were avocado, chicken, beef and shrimp. The avocado was very good. I felt the chicken was a little bit dry and a bit tasteless as was the shrimp. We requested garlic oil condiment and we were charged extra for it. For my meal, I ordered the Pargo, which is a fried red snapper. It had good flavor and was also very big. I could have shared it. My cousin ordered pechuga marinara. She liked it. I didn't taste it. It was shrimp in a creamy sauce over chicken. Though my fish was good, I felt it was a bit overpriced. All in all, food was decent. What annoyed me is the credit card fees that they charge. These charges started right after Covid. I used to think that pushing the charges on the consumer was not allowed. They also add 15% gratuity, though I didn't see this listed on the menu. I check my bill thoroughly so I caught it. I normally leave 20-25% gratuity so I did give extra money as the waiter was great and very attentive. The place had live Spanish music and karaoke, though I didn't stay for it. Would I visit again? Maybe, just not running there anytime soon. read more

I've been to Noches several times to pick up some of their bread. We get pan con queso. Sometimes it's amazing. Sometimes there's barely any cheese. We went with my husband and his family this week and enjoyed a sit down dinner. The food was pretty good overall but the experience was a bit mixed and highlights some of the inconsistencies I noticed with just their bread. I ordered the Pechuga en Crema de Cilantro (grilled chicken breast topped with creamy coriander sauce). It was well cooked but over sauced. It came with a large salad that had no dressing. We shared a calamari appetizer. I found it unseasoned and tough (but my nephew gave it five stars). My mother-in-law ordered pork. It was mostly gristle unfortunately. My nephew had the fried tilapia and he loved it (it looked great too). Tostones accompanied all our food. They were excellent. The service was good, and fairly quick. Portions were great (and good value). There were just too many inconsistencies to warrant a higher rating. read more

The coldest beans that literally tasted like nothing, as well as the fish fillet that tasted like refrigerator with the canned mushrooms and sauce that were cold as well. It actually saddens me cause I had told myself I wouldn't come here again after bad food that I had last time I came And here I was trying to give this place a chance again. A waste of money! Went to Noches de Colombia the other night with a friend. I had to been to another location before, but this was my first time at the Belleville location. The waiter was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious! I got arroz con pollo. I was surprised when I got a side salad, but not upset. I also ordered a side of maduros, which were so sweet and yummy. What I love about Noches is you don't have to speak Spanish to order their good. Part of the reason they're so successful is because they have pictures throughout the menu so you know exactly what you're ordering. Food is great and plenty of it is served! Stopped to get a coffee, pan de bono, empanadas and a chorizo for breakfast. The coffee was not great but the food was.

I enjoyed coming to this location. The staff was friendly and we were sat right away. The food here is super good and it filled me up. But of course there was room for dessert and the lava cake recommendation did not disappoint. The sampler had so much and each item was deliciousss. The mar y Tierra was good too. Some friends and I decided to come here only after our original restaurant choices were closed due to COVID or had limited parking, but I am so glad we came here instead. This place has a varied selection of beautiful dishes to choose from. I had the Camarones & Calamares en Crema al Vino with sides of white rice and sweet plantains. I order the food online. We waited over an hour and a half and I called to check the status of the order. Was told they never got the order. I explained it was charged to my credit card. They tell me it will be reverse because the order was not put through probably because the credit card number was put wrong. I told them that didn't make sense as it wouldn't I have been process if it had not been put in correctly. At this point to argue with me telling me that it's impossible because I don't have the order so I decide to go in person they once again tell me that even though showing in my credit card as charge because it's "pending" must mean that the order number one through. I tell them that I'll make a smaller order than the original I had made it and I'll charge it a separate card and then I'll call Bank and make sure that they cancel the previous charge. They agreed that this would work.. The manager comes to me and tells me they found the original order that they place online and then want to original that what it was for $115 they tell me they're going to cancel the lesser order I just made which was $90. I'm Dumb enough to agree I take the bag of food that they gave to find out that they didn't give me all of the food. The stole me out of 20 worth of food. On top of it all I has rider skirt steaks medium well. They were burned and aweful. I am sharing a picture of them. I didn't even bother calling. I have no intentions of returning. It's a loss and am moving on. I am only posting this to help others not find themselves in the same situation. The food is expensive and not that great. The service was terrible. Went to have something to eat with my family and when we told the waitress where we wanted to seat she rolled her eyes like she didn't like the fact that we had chosen where we wanted to sit! The classic bendeja paisa here defines good Colombian food. Ca get busy but you cant fault them for being popular like a lot of these silly reviews. Busy means good people, be fair. If they were empty, there'd be a reason for that too. Food here is stellar. They have a small bakery and great pandebono too. My wife of 17 years is Colombian so I'ev been eating Bendeja Paisa every week of my life and this place is one of the best there is. They also have a great Montclair location if you're further north. There's a ton of Noches De Colombia throughout NJ which is a good thing because the food is actually good. I have about 5 to choose from in about a 2 mile radius where I live and that's just the same chain of restaurants but it's almost mandatory with he amount of business they get. My to go to plate is pollo a la plancha(grilled chicken) with 2 sides and I usually pick the white rice and brown beans which makes for a great combo. Service is decent as they always have a lot of waitresses but the prices are a little high compared to the neighboring places where you can get the same meal for about 10 or less. Either way it's authentic Colombian food and the food is good if Spanish/Colombian food is what you like. read more

Went to this place on a Monday afternoon. Just want to start off by saying the food and ambiance a both good, but they are definitely not worth the money. The service has always been terrible, which seems to be the norm at all of these restaurants. I asked 2 different waiters for ketchup and finally had to get up myself and ask for it at the counter. They are slow and very inattentive, they take long to take your order, and take even longer get to bring your drinks. I've been to a few Noches restaurants in north jersey, I usually only pick up empanadas from this location but decided to eat in one day. The establishment is large, staff is friendly and the music brought me back to when I was a kid (I'm Puerto Rican.) We ordered 2 beef empanadas to start, I got the steak with onions as an entree and my bf got the chicken cutlet meal. Each dish comes with rice and beans, a potato and sweet plantain (Amarillo.) We decided to get a order of Tostones on the side. They bring out so much food, we were able to have leftovers! We will definitely be back one day, most likely during the week since the place always looks packed on the weekends. They have a nice size bar, so go figure. Having that out of the way, it is close to my place and I can't say I've actually been let down. Go eat a nice Colombian breakfast. What a delicious dinner I had the pleasure of having here. When we arrived around 8p the place was jumping. Plenty of happy patrons enjoys things like rice, beans, plantains and different cuts of delicious meats. I ordered a sampler that came with frisbee sizes tostones.
