The server was pretty attentive and was able to customize certain dishes. They were also very accommodating trying to find some food. My daughter would eat, which was appreciated. They certainly save the best for last with the miso cappuccino-- it was to die for! Again, I only wish there had been more! Overall, the food was excellent, and I had a great view and great meal. Nobu Manalapan absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without ever feeling intrusive. The food was exceptional, and every dish was beautifully presented. The Black Cod Miso was the standout--perfectly caramelized, buttery, and incredibly flavorful. The shrimp tempura was light and crispy with a variety of delicious dipping sauces, and the salmon tacos were fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the edamame, an assortment of sushi and sashimi, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. To finish the meal, we ordered the Satandagi dessert, and it was fantastic. The warm Japanese-style fried dough paired with Nutella gelato, dulce de leche, passion fruit sauce, and caramelized pine nuts was the perfect balance of rich and refreshing. We also enjoyed a pot of tea, which made for a relaxing end to the evening. The atmosphere is elegant, classy, and welcoming without feeling pretentious. I came to Nobu for a quick post workout protein shake. I was sat quickly. I ordered the pineapple, kale, and spinach smoothie which came with protein. Jerzy was my waiter and he was lovely and kind. There was a gorgeous view of the water from where I sat. Overall good experience! read more

Nobu in name only. The ambiance was missing, it was a bland, loud and unappealing venue slapped into the hotel lobby. The untrained wait staff, and manager, were lost. Wrong food delivered, lost orders and unapologetic for their misgivings as well as for the food. The overpriced sea bass was so bad we couldn't continue to try to find a sauce to make it flavorful and left it. The manager didn't even take the time to discuss our displeasure after the waiter brought it to his attention. Just a simply horrible experience that went downhill fast after being checked in by a professional and personable front desk staff led by Simone. Excellent very few places in Palm Beach County can deliver the service for the prices they charge but this place does and they have wonderful martini options. Amazing. I rarely give five stars. We loved our dinner at nobu. Everything was top end - the sushi was unbelievable. The service was very good - it's clear the staff have been trained extremely well. Get the yellowtail jalapeño - the nobu style sashimi - when we would order a drink - it would be served in like 5 min. The ambiance was great - the view is killer. So big surprise - it's expensive. Disappointed. When this was a a pop up in the lobby, it was great. Now that it's a grown up restaurant in a space of its own, it's just a hotel restaurant that has the Nobu name. The sashimi new style was fresh and delicious, the tempura was tasty and light, but the waygu rice special was a flavorless risotto with nice oyster mushrooms and shaved waygu slices that steamed on top. Given the price--not worth it. The black cod was okay and the lamb special was odd. The chops were wrapped like mummies. The glass of red wine had a large mouthful of sediment --bad finish to a not so great meal. They tried to make it right, by comping dessert, but the warm temp in the restaurant and lack air movement made us pass. Also, keep an eye out for the 20% gratuity. This place does not deserve the name of NOBU, as many have already made clear in their reviews, this feels more like a cheap knock off although nothing is actually "cheap". To garner the expectations of any would be patrons who may be looking to experience the well known Nobu...do not go to this one. The once coveted Miso Black Cod was served tepid and full of bones, the new craze Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna was served deconstructed like a bar appetizer, and the sushi was edible at best. If it was just some of the dishes that was wrong maybe you could still stomach the price but unfortunately the service was just as cold and stale as the fish. Undertrained and lacking is the feeling you will come away with upon arrival at your table. Lastly if all of that was not enough to keep you from coming...it's NOT a NOBU. My wife and I had a great experience with Nobu as first timers. Our waiter Carlos was great with recommendations and guided us through the menu. The cocktails were some of the best we've had including the margarita, sidecar and manala'palm, all with a unique Japanese twist. We were a little overwhelmed by the choices on the menu so chose the "omakaze" option to allow the server/chef to select our dinner. Everything was fantastic. I have been eating at Nobu since Matsuhisa on La Cienega in Los Angeles 30 years ago up until 2 weeks ago at Nobu 57 in NYC. Suffice to say I've been 40 times to the place. This iteration of the restaurant was terrible. Small, dingy, sticky tables, poorly trained wait staff and cocky managers with no reason to have attitude. While the menu was quite abbreviated and the quality of food was fair yet overpriced. The balance of the environment renders this place very substandard. My advice is get your act together before the opening in the new space. For now I say stay away until they work out the kinks. read more

This is as our server called it a "pop up Nobu." The ambience was absolutely awful. The restaurant is in a make shift space off of the lobby that is separated from the lobby by cheap dividers. It was very noisy with no decor to speak of. I am surprised that the Nobu brand is using this inadequate space for one of their restaurants. The food was OK and the service was fine, but the overall experience was not even close to what one should expect from a fine dining restaurant in this area let alone one at a high end hotel on the beach! This pop up Nobu is absolutely not worth the money especially with so many other great high end dining options in Palm Beach County.
