Fish was super fresh here. My only complaint was a tad bit too much rice. Also I overheard an angry customer griping that that they stopped taking orders 20 minutes before their posted closing time, which I thought was weird too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dine-in seating is pretty limited to the bar and counter high top.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It looks like most people pick up their orders and leave. While the fish was fresh yummy, I do wish they had a bit more variety. Parking is in the back, the lot looked full but I was lucky to find a spot or two open. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: you basically place your order at the kiosk. And they call your phone number when it's ready to pick up. Pretty simple.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Connected to a grocery store you can pick up other side dishes or items from the store to accompany your meal.

I was in Troy for 1 night for a work conference, and wanted a casual takeout spot. This place was perfect because there's also an Asian market to walk around! There's a very small produce section, frozen section, snack aisle, noodles, seasonings...a good amount of variety for a small store! There's an Asian coffee/bakery stand, where I got a purple yam cream cake - it was very good but a little pricier than I expected (I think $6.50ish). From the Noble Fish stand, there's a few tables and an iPad to order takeout. I got the chirashi bowl, which is fairly priced at $18, the spicy tuna crunch roll, which had a great amount of tuna in it, and the yellowtail + onion roll. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area!

I love the sushi so much but I'm worried with the expansion they may be losing the original plot. The sushi is always super fresh & amazing but I fear that isn't all it takes to receive 5 stars for a business. I recently scheduled a pick up order on door dash to be picked up at 6:05pm (the time was very clearly shown on the app) and when I went at 6pm, an employee said my order was scheduled for 7:30pm and that they couldn't make it sooner so I should cancel the order or wait. (I showed her the time stamps & receipt on my app & she brushed me off lol) I watched this same employee tell other people that they would have to wait over an hour for their carry out orders. I ended up leaving & coming back at 6:50pm prior to walking over to trivia next door. Another employee helped me & my order was ready to go on their shelf. Nobody called me & I received no updates via the DoorDash app. (It just kept saying my order was ready at 6:05pm & it definitely wasn't). I am glad I decided to not cancel my order but it seems like they obviously have some kinks to work out w/ service regarding their increasing popularity. They should not be taking scheduled door dash orders if they can't complete them in time & should maybe prioritize accommodating their in person customers first. I will definitely be back for the sushi but hoping for a better system with next visit.

I decided to treat myself to sushi at Noble village last Saturday and everything was fresh and delicious. It's actually better with their new kiosk where you may place your sushi order and add extras if you'd like. You should also check out their bakery area. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're in the mood for high quality sushi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also a dine in area in the store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My go-to spot for quick, 5/5 sushi at a fair price. Service is fast, and the sushi is consistently fresh. I usually order the spicy salmon, spicy shrimp, and miso soup. Never disappoints! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They've been under renovation for a few months but are still open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is limited, though there's enough for a quick bite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's also a cute little asian market inside. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Highly recommend! They're doing renovation right now (Noble is merging with White Wolf) but they are open! They have a great variety of foods and drinks for such a small store! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a cute little cafe that you can get different drinks from and they made us a little design![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees have always been very kind and fast with their service. If you like Asian foods and unique bakeries, I recommend!

Err..Which grocery store u been to has a tip jar and ask for tips on the checkout screen? Yea me neither. What kind of business practice is this. I guess they need money for renovations, because it looks nicer than before. Maybe they change owner, because Nobel fish sushi is supposed to be similar to One World market, but it is not. They did something to my rice bowl that I am very thirsty afterwards. Also no soy sauce packet in any of my orders.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We got takeout since the space is currently being renovated and seating is pretty limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was definitely the move! We also ordered ahead of time, something I would recommend doing since it made picking up our order really easy. The person at the register was very fast and efficient. The food was great and reasonably priced. The fish was fresh and high quality. The rice could use a touch more seasoning for me personally, but the rolls tasted great nonetheless. This will definitely be my go-to sushi place in Michigan. Also, I love the little cafe and market attached to the restaurant. It's great for those in need of Japanese essentials.

    Tim T.

Amazing sushi and their market is very convenient, with an assortment of Japanese beverages available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service also great and interior atmosphere spacious with many seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will try their food next time and write an additional review - but the Michigan roll I got from their market was incredible. They also had Lemon-O sodas and Peach Calpico drinks as well.

I've only ever heard things about this place from friends and they were right! With the current expansion there wasn't any seating anymore, but I'm so excited for it! We ordered the Smelt Roe Nigiri, Salmon Skin Roll, Spicy California Roll, Tropical roll, and Saba Barrera Sushi with eel sauce. The sushi was FILLED to the brim and they did not skip out on the ginger. The sushi was so yummy and my favorite was the Salmon Skin Roll which had a great crunch. The eel sauce added so much flavor as well. I personally did not like the Saba Barrera Sushi which was mackerel but my boyfriend did. I would definitely come again to try their other options.

Definitely wasn't impressed by the sushi here. Overall, the rolls lacked flavor, the vegetables weren't fresh and they tasted like they were premade and sitting for awhile. Too many good restaurants around for that. Sadly disappointed!

    Aminah K.

Noble Fish has the freshest sushi around. The rolls are simple, flavorful and such good value. My favorite is the spicy California roll. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The newly renovated space includes Noble Fish, White Wolf Japanese Patisserie and a small Asian market.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have few counter seating inside and few tables outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can order online or on the ipads inside.

Ask the Community - Noble Village

    Are there any vegan options?

    Yep. Plenty of vegan rolls.

Do they sell sushi grade fish for homemade sushi?

    Yes we do!

    What is your food cost?

    Depends on what you order.

I was in Clawson a few weeks ago and Noble Fish was all boarded up. Did they close? Repairs? What's up with Noble Fish? (posted 6-30-19)

Even if they are completely closed, you should wait outside until they re open. I'll join you.

Do they have the Dynamite appetizer all day?

Yes! The sushi bar closes for an hour or two every day except Sunday to reset for service (between lunch and dinner)

Is there a half off sushi day? If so, when is it? Thanks!

    No.

Planning on getting a large party tray from here. Do I need to let them know a few days in advance?

I would give them notification at least one day in advance, and do in person, to guarantee the order was understood properly. ??

It's little changes like that that elevate the dish beyond other regular sushi offerings. It was so appreciated! We ordered the spicy tuna roll. It had the excellent tuna and then they put yum sauce on it. That was odd because it masked the beautiful taste of the bluefin tuna, and that made it a miss for me. If you order, do yourself a favor and tell them no sauce. The dragon roll had real snow crab inside and eel and avocado on top. This also had a crunchy topping that I would tell them to hold if I did it again. It didn't really add anything to the dish and it obscurred the taste of the tender eel a bit. Not until I broke open a piece to isolate the snow crab could I truly appreciate the delicate flavor. It got a little lost inside the vibrant roll. The red dragon roll was well balanced and exactly what I was expecting. The bluefin tuna could easily shine on top of this roll. And it did. It was rich and succulent. The tigerlilly roll was lovely and topped with salmon and roe. It says on the menu it was torched. Ours was not. It was perfect the way we got it though, so I wouldn't change anything. I also ordered eel sashimi and the avocado, asparagus and cucumber roll for something refreshing. We all shared the rolls as we had drinks at the bar. Our bartender was attentive, friendly, and brought the sushi along with serving us our drinks. The lychee martini was a hit. What an interesting and slightly tart flavor! It was a light-hearted and fun time and I would go back in a heartbeat .

Service (4.75/5): Our main server was very friendly and gave us a good overview of the menu as it was our first time. They were great and attentive. We were also served by a second server who dropped off our food and disappeared so quickly that we waited a while before they walked by again. When we finally got the chance to ask for soy sauce and sauce dishes, they grabbed the soy sauce from a nearby table and left before we could even get to asking for the sauce dishes. Nothing terrible, but we did feel a little awkward. Food (4/5): Sushi was both good and not good. Of the 3 rolls we ordered, the salmon avocado and tuna avocado were solid; the proportion of fish to rice was great and the fish quality was above average from your typical sushi restaurant. However, the Tigerlily was quite disappointing, especially at $22 for the roll. The roll was torched a bit too long, cooking the salmon almost all the way, but my main gripe was a mysterious creamy sauce that was drizzled on top. The roll ended up being way too heavy and the sauce overpowered the salmon and the little bit of ikura that was sprinkled on top. On the other hand, the chicken katsu sando was really excellent. Chicken was juicy, breading was light and crispy, and the fries were well-seasoned. My only suggestion for the kitchen is to slice the sandwich vertically instead of horizontally; you can see that the bread on half of the sandwich was mostly crust/air instead of the actual bread part. Ambiance (4/5): It's got an upscale, modern feel to it that would probably make a nice environment for a date night or catching up with friends over happy hour. I was there on a Tuesday evening, so it wasn't crowded. There was music playing but it wasn't too loud, so it was easy to have a conversation.

This sushi place came up and seemed to have really good reviews. So, I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. It's in a rather quiet strip mall with a Holiday market, coffee shop and a few other stores so that was very convenient. Walking in the place was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. There was only one man working who was actually making the sushi and no servers, which I found odd. He eventually came over and took my order after delivering the dish he was preparing from behind the counter. He was super nice and friendly, but odd that they didn't have anyone else working. The menu has a decent selection of items but limited on appetizers. No soups were available on the menu, which kind of bummed me out. (I like Miso soup, but also enjoy others if they had them!) No crab rangoons. Just some salads and edamame. I got a sushi roll (don't ask which one, I forgot) and it was quite excellent and filling. Large portion, tasted delicious and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality as well. Overall not a bad place to eat, conveniently located off 14 mile making it easy in and easy out back to the expressway to continue on my journey downtown! They just need a formal server here to keep things moving.
