They apologized profusely and offered to assign a different student. I was hesitant, but agreed to a new student assignment. I cannot express how completely happy I am with the new assignment. His name is Landon Guy and he is the epitome of what all current and future dentists should strive for. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, highly-skilled, creative, not at all condescending. He explains everything he's going to do before he does it. When he makes a suggestion for treatment, he always asks for my input. And he listens to my opinion. And he has a great sense of humor, which is always a bonus! My dental appointment anxiety is just about non-existent due to Landon's expertise. Our initial experience wasn't great, getting the first visit scheduled took forever. That should have been my clue. Every appointment since has been very difficult to schedule. When my child is due to be seen, they have one appointment to offer. If that doesn't work, they will suggest something two weeks later. Well that adds two weeks to the treatment time - nobody wants that! Their appointments are only available between 8:20 and 3:20 (and I don't believe they are open on Fridays), so your child will always miss school for this (and you will miss work). Maybe this is a small sacrifice to make, but I wish I had known before we started here or I would likely have gone elsewhere.

It…read morehas been almost 15 years since I got my braces off (which makes me sound old, but I had braces as a tween) and I wear my retainers faithfully. Although I frequently get compliments on my smile, my dentist today showed me just how good of a job Dr. Severt did for my teeth! Evidently my top and bottom teeth are still perfectly aligned to the center of my face (a characteristic that only a dentist would notice) in addition to my teeth being quite straight. As for my experience with Dr. Severt, I feel that she is tremendously professional and very kind. I highly recommend her practice as her work certainly stands the test of time.

We were thinking we'd have impressions made and expecting to pay $145 for the replacement retainer. However Dr. Wilson said no replacement retainer was necessary as my son is ready for Phase II braces and at the next scheduled appointment in few months we could discuss new braces. I really appreciate Dr. Wilson's honesty when he could have said a new retainer was a must even for just three months, we would have followed his instructions, and he could have had the $145. My son is happy to have a break from his retainer and he is looking forward to continuing his braces treatment with Dr. Wilson!
