When I visited this place last time, I only tried their ice creams so I revisited to try and pick up some drinks for my mom and sister. The clerk immediately welcomed me so I asked what she would recommend for drinks. As suggested, I ordered Uji Matcha for myself, Thai Milk Tea for my sister and Paradise Crush for my mom. While I was waiting for the drinks come out, there were several customers walked in and the clerk served them promptly and made and pushed out the drinks quickly, which was pretty impressive since she was working alone. It seems like the cafe was well kept as it is clean like I remembered last time. My Uji Matcha had crushed Oreos and it was a pleasant surprise as it harmonized very well with Matcha. My mom and sister also commented about their drinks and they both loved it. One thing that could improve is their cup holder. They offer a very good variety of different desserts to choose from which I really enjoy. I would recommend their roasted jasmine milk tea, classic jasmine milk tea, peach jasmine tea, mango oolong. My past experiences with mom and pop boba shops have not been the best. Most of them lack quality tea flavor from their drinks or the perfect recipe for boba. Nobibi is known for their ice cream creations but I was just looking for something simple to drink so that's what I did. I arrived on Monday, August 12th around 7 PM, which is an hour before closing so I was a little hesitant to try their boba because it's either been sitting around for too long or they're all out. Didn't get the girl's name but greeted me as soon as I entered and didn't hesitate to let me know if I had any questions. I ordered the Thai Tea with Boba. I would normally get my sweetness adjusted but wanted to the drink as is for my first experience. It was extremely sweet but that's how Thai Tea is supposed to be so that's okay. The tea flavor was there and it was delicious. The boba at first glance looked puffy and mushy but it was actually quite tasty and had a good firm but chewy texture. Nobibi exceeded my expectations with their fantastic customer service, great flavor, and overall execution. Although it isn't my favorite, this is definitely a spot I will come to again in the near future to try more of their menu. The last several businesses that have been in this exact location have been subpar but this place is worth a shot! We have been here twice and it's a cute ambiance. They were busy today and so a bit of a wait. We have gotten the pink unicorn like strawberry slush and a regular oolong tea with boba. The boba is sweet and the right texture. We also have gotten their paradise crush and it was refreshing but if you don't love super sweet ask for less sweet. Red bean and taro ice cream was great! The ice cream was dense and creamy with the taro having a subtle sweetness. The red bean was a great complement. Mango oolong was just decent. I had the brown sugar boba cup and it was extremely runny and very sweet. At the bottom of the cup there were crunchy flakes, almost like cornflakes. The boba was chewy and moist, but the whole cup was loaded with sugar! Being an ice cream place, I would expect the ice cream to be cold and solid, but here the ice cream was very runny. I have come a couple more times and ordered the biscoff matcha. Everytime I've gotten it the taste has been inconsistent. Like I got it once and it was super matcha-y and then the most recent time it was super bitter like they forgot the sweetener and it had small chunks of matcha in it... The menu says the milk teas at 5.99 with boba and the first time i got it it was but after the first time I went they now charge separately for the boba which is super confusing. I saw they offered online ordering, which works amazing when the kiddos are in tow.
