Simply asked for my bagel to be cut in half and got snark and attitude from chick in braces and a ridiculous cattle nose ring (seriously who hires someone with a disgusting nose piercing). Overall, Noah's Bagels - any location - doesn't have the best reputation. Just a quick scan of reviews and star ratings tells me a lot of this comes down to service. I've had very slow service and the service here wasn't the best, but I can say they have an incredible bagel and lox breakfast sandwich that I would easily go out of the way for. Finding anything with lox in a fast-casual setting is next to impossible, so I'm always excited to see their version (complete with tomatoes, cucumbers, capers and cream cheese) on the menu. Mine was as delicious as it sounds, and all the ingredients, most importantly the fish and salmon, were very fresh. The one downside was the cashier who greeted me with nothing more than a "Yes?" and a sigh. A simple hello would have worked and I would have understood her shortness were there some sort of rush, but I was literally one of two people in the restaurant. read more

So I have never ordered from this place before today, but I definitely will be ordering again. I was a bit hesitant based on some of the reviews I read. I'm so glad I ordered. I ordered the Nova lox sandwich, and it did not disappoint! It could have had a bit more shmear, but it was still hitting. So I would like to say that this is a great breakfast place but if you have a very specific crave know that you may need to call to see if they have the inventory. I was told that certain items go out earlier then other. Also customer service is really great. I have a really long complicated order for most service members but they have the tendancy to not be the most accurate when it comes to the additions such as veggies and one time cheese. Lol this time. Anyways Shaeryn (and I may had butchered the spellin) hooked it up and I could tell she really was sorry my order did not turn out the way it was supposed to be. read more

Extremely unfriendly, unprofessional, and life-less customer service. I don't know if they are tired or just unhappy. I ordered 2 sandwiches and asked which one was which... the lady's response was "i dont know they're both hot sandwiches." You couldn't label them? You just made and wrapped them about 3 seconds but you don't know. Now I have to open and touch someone else's sandwich to figure it out when a simple letter or sticker would've been fine. And! The lady (brown hair lady, I didn't get her name) was making herself an iced coffee, drank it, and put it behind a certificate above their assembly area. Never washed her hands or anything. I know you can't store personal beverages where customers food is being made. That's against food safety AND she never washed her hands. That is disgusting. Rude and disgusting. read more

My family and I have bought from this location dozens of times. Today I was met with below 1 star service. My husband made our order through the app and then we drove to the location 10 minutes away. In past visits the 2 bagel sandwich order and one plain bagel is done by the time we get there. Today we get there and wait... 20 minutes later we ask where's my order. "We are busy we are getting to it" 40 minutes later. I want to speak to your manager, No manager on duty. We have your order and are doing them in order. (Not true people walked up in line ordered and were done before ours.) then fed up we waited in line to get a refund because that was 50 minutes to wait for 3 items. This location is terrible! I ordered via doordash and the staff doesn't know how to read instructions. I asked for an egg sandwich and chose the everything bagel as the bagel with a side of a blueberry muffin and they didn't even give me my blueberry muffin-instead they made the bagel blueberry. Luckily my husband was willing to eat it even though it's a gross combination because he doesn't want to waste food....BUT THEN THE EGG HAD MOLD. Absolutely unacceptable. First off, I am not a Karen. That being said, today I was racing the clock to get there before 200 pm. Approx 156-157 I'm outside and doors are locked. There was a customer waiting at register for his food. I knock on door pretty politely and point to my watch. The staff person looks up at their clock and I'm shaking my head no it's not 200! This is when I must have become invisible wearing Harry Potter's Cloak of Inbisibility She walked a bit to say something to someone in back and my invisible self still in front of door. Oh did I mention, I only wanted three bagels? Next thing you know... the customer comes to the door!!! Wouldn't open and pointed to watch which now was 203pm! It's not the end of the world that I didn't get the bagels for the kids, but the boorish behavior by staff w Zip/ zero customer service. I have worked in hospitality industry for years, and I get they wanted to go home. I am a generous tipper, and they missed out on what I refer to as last tip of the day- always make it count! I used to love Noah's, it was always so fresh & filling. Nowadays, they seem to cost more for small bagels with hardly anything on them. If you get a bacon, egg & cheese bagel they put ONE slice of bacon that they rip in half. & they're $7-8 dollars!! IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A GOOD BAGEL PLACE CHECK OUT NEW YORK BAGEL IN RANCHO!! We recently found New York bagel & prefer it over Noah's any day!! My only complaint, which is the same for all locations, is that they only have one person helping walk in customers. So when I come in in the morning before work to buy bagels for my crew, there are four employees making sandwiches for in line orders and only one serving the walk ins. Delicious bagels! Staff wasn't very friendly, but they were also very swamped. Note to self: Don't order in advance, we saw several orders sitting all the way across the room where anyone could grab them - or tamper with them- scary! The French toast bagel was very good. But they put barely any cream cheese on it. Since they pride themselves on being a "new York bagel" joint you'd think they'd put a generous amount of cream cheese on their bagels. First of all forget their Rewards Program. They cant get anything straight and is a technical SNAFU. Went in for my birthday bagel and they refused me because the computer would not allow the transaction. And the poor person at the register had no interest in going beyond what the screen told him. Refused to ask for help or get me someone I could talk to. I even tried my free bagels and that would not work either. Soooo glad that Noah's opened in Carmichael. This is twice the size of the locations at town & country and madison/hazel and right on my way to work (really wish they had a drive thru like Panera). If you are unfamiliar with Noah's Bagels, think Panera meets La Bou. The difference here is that quality is better and the prices are more reasonable. And they have great coffee, which you can have a bottomless cup of for under $2. Uh huh that's right. Bottomless. Seriously the only thing I ever thought of when hearing Noah's Bagels was "bagels". Somehow i came across a picture of a breakfast sandwich and was like "oh damn that looks good". Then to my surprise I seen that is was from Noah's. So I had to come in a get one to go. I got the Farmhouse and it is probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. It was soft, juicy and very flavorful. The only problem is that I don't know how i am supposed to eat breakfast every day now. I'm sure if it's not one of these it would just be a disappointment. I have been to this place several times for bagels and occasionally for breakfast. I find the staff here is very courteous and helpful. They seem to really enjoy what they're doing and the bagels are always fresh and tasty. This is definitely one of my go-to places for morning breakfast. My 8 year old daughter was so excited to get a giant cookie. I decided to order an iced mocha. Not only did the barista make the wrong coffee and asked did I want something I didn't even order instead. I decided to wait on what I ordered. Well it was awful, and it made me sick. It didn't look like any iced mocha I'd ever had. I wonder if this is meant to keep us from frequenting this establishment. Around noon time yesterday 5/31, I went in and was greeted and asked what I could be helped with. The young man who asked me then logged onto the computer and said to his coworker, "oh, I'm supposed to be on lunch", to which they said yes. He then logged on the computer checked out looked at me and said, oh I'm sorry I can't help you. You'll have to ask somebody else. Dude had a punk ass smile on his face too so I know he thought he was cute for that and I thought to myself, why am I eating these fattening overpriced bagels? They are so bad for me and I got to deal with this. Seems to be a new employee & manager lady there now too. . When she came to help she made me go get a receipt and didn't check it when I came back. Games. They usually know me by face. Why did I have to go get proof if she already knew the order was mine? That's two locations that suck. Downtown and Carmichael. The nice young ladies I've interacted with at Carmichael are what kept me coming back despite how bad bagels are for people. Whoever they got working now are db's. I came, I saw, I left. Dude with beard needs to cover that up, or wear a net. I am not anti beard or goatee my husband wears both all the time but He is not in my kitchen preparing our food. Women have to tie their hair back or wear nets and the same goes with men. No one wants your beard hair in their food. Gross! Whoever hires people for this restaurant needs to be fired. They always get my order wrong and end up having to be waiting forever for my order. On the east coast, everyone knows that I love my salt bagels with butter. It's hard enough finding salt bagels out of the NY market, so when I stumbled into this spot near Sacramento where I am for business, I was happy to see salt bagels available. I ordered two, one for breakfast and one for lunch, and a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was friendly, albeit a bit slow for 2 buttered bagels not toasted and pre-squeezed OJ cup, however they had what I wanted. I sat in and ate one of my bagels, they serve it in halves, versus together which I thought was a bit odd, but I re-connected my bagel and bit in. Good amount of salt on the bagel which I love, butter was OK - not the best, and the bagel dough itself left a lot to be desired. It was way too chewy/doughy. Then I noticed the wrapper on my to-go bagel and they bill themselves a NY style. I didn't know that going in there, and I hate when places out of state do this. Just be you. They have the selection of a NY bagel store, but the bagels themselves are underwhelming. The dough just isn't right and I'm guessing it's the water quality but if you are a true New Yorker like me, you will leave somewhat disappointed. Only thing to note is, although this wasn't top marks for me, I know I won't find anything better in the area, and for that reason only, I will return for a bagel during my trip. If you've never had a NY bagel and are not from the east coast, I am sure this place will suit you just fine. read more

I order here via Doordash sometimes, and every time my food arrives cold and late. I thought that it was because my house was difficult to find considering that I usually give them a generous tip the delay should be minimal at best. So I now meet with the drivers and have asked several of them about the delays. They informed me that they are treated rudely and poorly by the workers here and that all delivery and pick up orders are non priority. I saw this first hand when I went in person. They treated the delivery drivers with disdain. As if they didn't exist and were non helpful. The food is pretty good but the service isn't up to par at all. read more
