Big John's Biscuit with 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties and a BIG buttermilk biscuit covered in country gravy.

My wife and I stopped in today about noon. I was wanting something breakfast-like and she wanted a lunch so this seemed like the perfect place. It was busy, but we were seated immediately. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The eggs and sausages were cooked well. The biscuit was BIG and smothered in their delicious gravy. I was so hungry but had to bring half the biscuit home. Renee, our server got us our drinks immediately after sitting down and never let them get more than half empty. Pretty impressive considering all the people in the restaurant.

The large statue will tell you were to turn in to have a sit down meal with fast service. We were seated right away and had a hard time picking just one dish. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachaches. The biscuits were bomb and the omelet was on point. The coffee will wake you up for sure. Even grow some hairs on your chest from the strength. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Clean location. Recommend.

Gotta say it's been quite a while since we've been there, but they STILL are whipping out the chicken fried angus steak and the fried liver SMOTHERED in crispy bacon and gently cooked onions. They don't skimp on their sides either. I enjoyed mashies w country gravy to complement my CFS, and a small side salad. Brought half home for lunch today. DH ate all his liver n onions. He enjoyed every bite too. Their music is pretty much mellow country, the coffee is hot, and so was my mint tea. Not one complaint to be voiced. Service was the usual kind folks and fast prep. I'm so glad there are still folks we can count on today. Prices are holding steady, too.

Good is not too bad. Diner fare. They servers are nice but management is definitely not focused on service. Sunday at 12:30 place is busy, you would think they would maximize space to seat people. Nope. Most diners I've been to have the table service under the counter. Manager would not rearrange the area. Poor service.

My little sis invited me to come here. I had only been here once previously many years ago, and I was not too thrilled with that experience. As she and my nephew wanted to take me out and suggested her, it was time for this place to get a chance at redemption. Our waitress was very friendly, and engaging in both general talk and food suggestions. I had previously ordered a cheese omelette many years ago (a standard go to at a "new" place), and I remember it being extremely rubbery, leading to me not returning. As such, I was wondering if I should steer away from breakfast, as it was also now 2:00 oclock. Our server recommended breakfast, so I thought to give the most important meal of the day a second chance. When I ordered the chicken fried steak, our server said I ordered the most popular dish. I will admit, it tasted pretty good. The gravy was hot, the steak was crunchy but not dry inside, and the biscuit was nice and fluffy. My sis and bro-n-law go here a lot, and they have their favorites, and cleared their plates. I would say this is a pretty standard "good, not amazing" diner, based on what one orders. Prices are on the "higher" side (relative, I know) but the food was a big portion, so it is what it is. If suggested, I would come back, but just avoid the omelettes.

I was in for a surprise. Morning fork presents its self like an old timey diner, with mimosas, coffee, a skillet that radiates the kind of heat that would keep a family warm through the winter. The staff was a mix of locals who served with speed and smiles that were memorable and noticeable. I don't jump on every brunch invite, I rarely make brunch plans, but I will when morning fork is involved. Morning fork has incredible pancakes and waffles Their coffee is actually amazing And if I could afford the calories, I'd be here every week.

I would give ZERO stars if that were an option. Our experience today at The Morning Fork was…read moreincredibly disappointing and, quite frankly, unacceptable. The restaurant itself was already VERY loud, with customers talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves. We actually appreciated the atmosphere because, as parents of a toddler, it made us feel more comfortable dining there as a family. Shortly after receiving our food, my toddler became upset and started crying. The OWNER approached my husband and asked him to REMOVE OUR CHILD FROM THE RESTAURANT. My husband, being the respectful person he is, complied and took her outside. At first, I was confused about why he had suddenly left until he called me and explained what the owner had told him. We had JUST received our food. At that point, I asked our server to remove the untouched items from our bill. I made it clear that I was more than willing to pay for anything we had already touched or consumed, but I was not comfortable continuing to give my business to an establishment whose owner had just asked my husband to remove our toddler. The owner then approached me, and I explained how inappropriate and upsetting I found the situation, especially considering how loud the restaurant already was. I could barely hear my own daughter over the overall noise in the restaurant. Her response was that "people were looking at me," which is why she asked my husband to take our daughter OUTSIDE. That response was extremely disappointing. She is a TODDLER. Toddlers sometimes cry. We were not allowing her to run around the restaurant, destroy anything, or behave dangerously. She was simply upset and crying. If noise was truly the issue, then why was our child singled out in an already extremely loud restaurant? What makes the experience even more uncomfortable is that we already felt we were greeted rudely by our first server. I do want to recognize the gentleman who was calling names for the tables. He was very kind and welcoming, and I appreciated his professionalism. As for the owner, I am extremely disappointed that someone who owns a restaurant would treat paying customers and their child this way. Families with young children deserve to know what kind of environment they are walking into. If children, or the normal behavior that occasionally comes with having toddlers are not welcome in your establishment, that should be clearly communicated to customers before they sit down and order food. We will not be returning, and I hope no other family is made to feel as unwelcome and embarrassed as ours was today.

Their patio area is really cute, and they have plenty of seating both outside and inside. The only downside was the service. It took us over 15 minutes just to place our drink order, and then it took a while for our drinks to come out. Since it was a warmer day, it would've been nice to have water on the table right away. I actually received my food before I even got my water or the drink I ordered, which was a little disappointing. The good thing is once we finally placed our food order, it came out really fast! I ordered the Mexican Skillet, which comes with eggs, chicken chorizo, onions, peppers, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, tater tots, and a tortilla. It was really good! The only thing I felt it was missing was salsa. I think having salsa on top or even on the side would have made this dish even better and added that extra flavor it needed. We also tried the Chicken and Waffles, which came with southern fried chicken, pork sausage country gravy, a Belgian waffle, pecan butter, and maple syrup. The waffle was delicious, and the pork sausage gravy had a really good flavor. The portion was also very generous. I was only able to eat about half of my meal. Overall, the food was good, and the restaurant itself is really cute. The patio is a great spot to sit, especially on a nice day. However, the service was the biggest downside of our visit. Even after finishing our food, it took a while for our server to check on us. After getting our check, we also waited quite a bit for our to go boxes and eventually decided to just ask for them at the front because we had been waiting so long. The restaurant wasn't packed, so I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but I do think it's something to keep in mind if you're coming here. If you're not in a rush and want to enjoy a slower brunch, it could be a nice spot. The food was good, but because of the service, I'm not sure if I would come back.

We were seated outside which was lovely, especially given the weather and the slight breeze. I appreciate that they offer an option for reservations. Many brunch places do not do those nowadays, which I hate. Every brunch requires a coffee. I appreciate that they do lattes here, rather than just hot or iced coffees. They had some unique syrups, such as bourbon caramel and praline. The syrups were on the more subtle side, which some people prefer. I am not one of those people, but it was a good latte for a breakfast/ brunch spot. I wish there was more ice tho.  The skillet cornbread with sharp cheddar, creamed corn & garlic, honey butter & house made seasonal jam on the side was a great starter dish. I enjoyed the garlic and cheese. The temperature/ toastiness of this was yummy.  We couldn't decide between the cornbread and the sticky bun, so the only obvious solution was to order both. The topping of the sticky bun was delicious. It was almost pecan pie adjacent.

We asked our server what she recommended and she said the waffle fries and French toast are great. While we passed on the French Toast (this time- I'm more of a savory breakfast person) we did get waffle fries ($7) and their Zebra Special ($15.50) that comes with two eggs, meat (ham, bacon or sausage), hash browns, and choice of toast. We paid a little extra to get a biscuit with gravy instead of toast. We also ordered jello shots for the group and it was very fun having morning jello shots with breakfast.
