I'm so confused on why this place doesn't have 5 stars. My husband literally tells everyone I think everything is "mediocre" especially food wise which is 100% true. This place is hands down the place to eat. I ordered the garlic parmesan crusted chicken with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes and it was sooooo dang good! Hands down the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I am not big on green beans but I loved these and the chicken was well seasoned and moist. I also ordered the honey local brewed beer and it was perfect! Everyone in my group said their food was great. People do not sleep on this place it is amazing. read more

This place was excellent to stop into during our ski trip. Love the bartender with the mustache. Great service from him. The salmon dinner I ordered was a ginormous portion, took some to the room for another meal. My husband loved the burger. Great cocktails. The pineapple habanero margarita is spicy! However, if you mix that one with the huckleberry margarita, it's amazing! read more

I was shocked by how much I loved this place (the food in particular). It was a slow day, so we got a seat easily outside where we are a beautiful view of the mountain. I ordered the "I'm Your Huckleberry" burger and substitued a black bean burger. This burger came with a healthy scoop of huckleberry jam on top (I'm talking around 1/3 of a cup of jam on mine). The burger also comes with gouda cheese and bacon for meat eaters. The jam paired with the gouda and black bean burger was so good. They burger was served with a side of seasoned fries. I was not able to eat it all, but I probably ate more than I should have. That's how good it was. Unfortunately I am not in the Silver Mountain area much, but when I come into town I will do whatever I can to stop and get this burger. read more

This is an average useable tourist bar. The food is kind of bland but edible and not really overpriced. The service was slow when I was there, but it was clearly their off season and they were short staffed. I would guess they are probably better in the winter which is clearly their prime season. There are definitely better places to eat around Kellogg but this place is very convenient to the big hotels and the ski area, and they have plenty of room for lots of guests. Also fairly nice outdoor dining area with cornhole boards and gas fire pits. In my opinion the very interesting local historic photos on the walls are the best feature of this restaurant. read more

This was disappointing, the food and drink menus looked so great. However the staff and waits are more than ridiculous. 35 minutes after being seated our party of 8 ( 4 Adults, 4 kids whom are well mannered) never received any acknowledgement besides the snarky glare as we finally got up to leave not even a hello from a server. A party of four came in about 30 minutes after us got served immediately. This was the worst I have ever been treated while out to eat. Especially being out of town for a fun family trip, they give a bad name for this small towns people. I would have given a 0 star if that was an option! read more

On vacation at Silver Mountain in Idaho . Went to get some lunch here . First of all the bartender was the only one there , and he was rude . He acted like we were a inconvenience. We did not feel welcome at all . Would have just got up and left but there was no where else to eat . The food was terrible too . Couldn't get a refill , and no he wasn't too busy. He only had 2 tables and a few at the bar . His personality was awful we felt uncomfortable. Only gave a 2 just because it was at the resort other then that don't go ! read more

really rude service, they lost my business when the waiter came up to me and my girlfriend and said "next time, please do not come in 10 minutes before we close" and it was actually 20 minutes before and they did not need to tell us this. We asked if they were still taking orders. They told us that, and we decided to eat at mcdonald's across the road. You are better off there. read more

The worst meal we have ever had. It was my birthday dinner and we all wanted to send our food back. Have never left a review before that's how bad this was. Save yourself some money and go to subway. Service was terrible. read more

This place is a joke. We are staying at the resort and attempted to swing by Noah's after the waterpark. At 7:15 when we walked in we noticed it was dead in the restaurant. With a please wait to be seated sign clearly posted we waited at the entrance for a hostess to come talk to us. After about 5 minutes of standing there wondering if anyone was even there, 2 hostesses came up and asked us how many people in our party (2 adults, 2 kids) then they looked confused at the reservation book and asked if we could do a to go order because they only have one server working and a party of 20 coming at 8:00. I said no we are wanting to dine in and they let us know that wasn't going to happen. A large restaurant with nobody inside turned us away. read more

We like this food very much. Most of the time it tastes excellent. We like the almond chicken sweet and sour Mongolian beef and chicken and the Mandarin chicken. Lo Mein is excellent! Pork fried rice is exceptional! read more

Dont waste your money. Got fish and chips to go and this is what my husband came back with. Three fish sticks for $16. Will not be eating here again. Highly disappointed. Called to see if this was correct and the manager said "well what do you consider fish & chips". Well i consider it an actual piece of fish and not something I can get through a zips drive through. read more

It's honestly embarrassing for Silver Mtn that this is the restaurant that represents their resort. The service has always been terrible the times I've been here over the past 4+ years. The food is subpar at best. You can sometimes get something decent but don't expect much, it will be one meal was edible out of your group. Today was our last straw and led to this review. We waited for two hours and had a burnt burger and a cold dip sandwich. The servers and waitresses are trying their best with what they have to work with but it's still very frustrating as a customer. Do better Silver and get this restaurant on par for the resort you are trying to sell. read more

Worst service I have experienced; just check out the other reviews and my experience is supported. Walked into the restaurant and the family side was crowded so my friend and I seated ourselves in the bar where a sign says "Please seat yourself", and proceeded to wait 20 minutes without receiving water, menus or even a glance in our direction from the staff. We got up and started to walk out the door to go to a different restaurant when a staff member walked by, so we stopped him and asked if they are even still serving food. He explained that they were still serving food but it would take TWO HOURS until we could bet serviced. Why he chose not to mention that to us when we walked in, I don't know, but all I have to say is, DO NOT try to eat here. read more

Im confused why this place is still open. I was standing at the front desk for 10 min waiting for a host to come and seat me and my family to our table. Inside I saw there were at least three tables that weren't being cleaned. We sat at our table which was the farthest away from the rest of the outside dining area. We requested a better table which by the way was another table that wasn't cleaned. So we left. But this restaurant could be great if they fixed their service. read more

Had a reservation but still waited at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before she came to help us. At least 3 employees walked past but no one acknowledged us. The hostess finally showed us to a table and actually threw the menus down in front of us. She was super crusty the whole evening. Unfortunately the is on par for the resort as a whole--the customer service is absolutely awful. Our waitress was much better, she was cheerful and helpful. The food was decent and there were both classic and creative choices. Between us we had an app--avocado fries (fine, not great), 2 burgers (overdone but tasty), one pizza (average but filling), a honey chicken sandwich (yummy!), and fish and chips (overdone and bland). Overall the experience was average. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but it works if you're exhausted and hungry from a day of skiing. read more

I waited at a table for 15 minutes in a very uncrowded bar. I was not even greeted, not even acknowledged, although the staff walked right past me. They helped other tables. I know Noah was famous for his association with jackasses, but I always assumed that meant donkeys. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. I don't like to do so, but this wasn't poor service or slow service, it was no service. For context, there were between 3-5 employees I could see and less than a dozen patrons. read more

Traveling for work and this was my second chance for this place. Stopped in about a month ago as well. Service is not great and unprofessional. One of the kitchen staff was at the bar playing music on a person bluetooth speaker, taking gossip about staff and cussing every other word. Mean while the bartender encourage the music and didn't ask him to stop his unprofessional manner as being a staff member. Something similar happened last time I was here. Also, the bartender was eating at the bar on front of customers and chewing while trying to help people. Just unprofessional experience both times. The food is just ok for the price. It's expensive for very forgettable food. Only thing it has working for it is the location to the hotel. read more

The setting is nice as part of the beautiful MorningStar Lodge Resort, but the dining experience left a little to be desired. We had fish and chips and a steak salad. Both were ok, not great. I might have gone as high as four stars but it took about 40 minutes for our dinners to be served. Our server was attentive but the kitchen was too slow for a night without many customers in the restaurant. If they can improve their timeliness, this could be a cool spot to grab dinner in the future. As an FYI the homemade tartar sauce for the fish and chips was tasty, but way too spicy. Tasted like a Sracha tartar sauce. Fries were really good though. read more

My husband and I stayed at the lodge (see Morning Star Lodge for review) and nothing was up to par except Noah's! The food and drinks were AMAZING! I opted for the Crab Mac, would give it 10 stars if I could! My husband was just as happy with his Tri Tip dip. Overall, the best experience we have had dining. Would drive the hour just to have dinner here. read more

imagine you're walking along the side of the road and you peer into the ditch and see roadkill, you can smell it from a mile away and just looking at it makes you sick. that's how i would describe the food i ordered from noah's canteen. but hey! at least there were ketchup, silverware, waters, i don't know.. a waitress! i'm lying! there wasn't they even FORGOT to cook my friends food. after a long day of downhill biking we had the worst service imaginable. thanks for nothing!! read more

I'm finding it difficult to put into word the snark I feel for this place. It's as if there was a kit you could buy for a chain restaurant, and they got the one that everyone else got. It has that 'faux authentic' feel, antique skis that aren't really antique, you know the deal. I wouldn't really ding it that badly just for that, because, well, it is a corporate chain restaurant in a ski resort, and well, my expectations were low already. You'd think that they'd manage competent food. I mean it wasn't terrible, but it was definitely south of mediocre. There's no real need for that. You know though, it's the little things in the end. When your menu says 'ask your server about rotating beers on tap', and you do, and the server tells you that they don't drink beer, so they don't really know, it sort of sums up the attitude of the entire place. Steer clear. read more

I was surprised to read the bad reviews of this place. We had a pretty great experience and I don't say that very frequently. The downside first : there are a lot of doors on this building and they aren't marked. Knowing where to walk in is hard. Walked into the bar at first. They were real great at directing us. Signs on doors would go far! The upside: we had came in around 8 for dinner, 2 adults 3 kids. We were quickly seated at a table with more than enough space at it and around it. Service was prompt and friendly. In fact waiter may be the best I've had. Food was great and portions were big, even the kids! Refills came the second we ran out. The burgers were slightly over cooked but other than that, this place was great! read more

Prices being what they were, I expected the food to be a little better. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp to start and received what I would describe as shrimp with nacho cheese sauce and bruschetta toasts surrounding the plate. That was $13. My wife ordered the fish tacos and said they were ok. I ordered the Black Diamond burger and it was nothing to write home about. I used to work at a greasy burger joint in high school and this tasted like something you would get at one of those establishments. The wait staff was prompt but not all there, if you know what I mean. It seemed like the place was being run by a bunch of High School kids. When my wife asked what the soup of the day was our waiter had to run in the back to find out. Bad sign. When he returned, he couldn't remember how to say what it was. "It's cheese...chili...chicken...uh...chili...cheese...uh..." "Ok. Never mind." I felt like I was on the set of the movie Out Cold. Except it was summer and the place was empty. Maybe during the winter it's a totally different experience but we won't be returning to find out. read more

We hit up this place for a quick dinner after a long drive... Turns out we should have just skipped dinner. It was Monday night and their special was macho nachos. The waitress pushed them, so we figured we'd give them a whirl as we were starving. Bad call. The portion was rather large, but I'm pretty sure they just opened a can of nacho cheese from a local high school concession stand and poured some on. Not only was it nasty canned nacho cheese (seriously how hard is it to use shredded cheese,) but it was ice cold! Terrible!!! Even the added grilled chicken was ice cold. Not delicious! Only stop in if your looking for a drink! read more

I have no idea why there are such poor reviews of this place. My wife and I stopped here for a bite and a couple drinks while milling around town. We were pleasantly greeted by the bartender and host. The management was nice. Our drinks were wonderful. The food was delicious. Try the Huckleberry Margaritas and Lemonades. WOW!!!! Thank you John B! read more

Let me start off by saying I should have listened to yelp. Thought to myself how could any place get 2 stars?! Well I found out. Service here was great. Atmosphere was cozy. But the food was another story. It looked amazing, like it should have tasted wonderful. However, the food had no flavor. I ordered a chicken pesto panini per the recommendation of the server and my other half ordered a burger. My sandwich was flavorless and his burger had a fish flavor to it. Like maybe fish was grilled on the same grill as the burger? It was very off putting. My 11 year old son enjoyed his chicken fingers and fries. Think this restaurant is perfect for 11 year olds who like bland food. Couldn't pay me to eat there again read more

I hope one day the owner will properly staff his restaurant, the poor staff was overwhelmed and kitchen was very backed up. Took over an hour to get our appetizer and another 15 for our food. The waitresses were as sweet as they could be and were very apologetic over something that was completely out of their control. The food was satisfactory. The 5 stars is what o give the waitresses poise and patience, but overall a 2-3 star restaurant experience but could easily be a 5 if the place was ran better. read more

Great service but otherwise all hype and overpriced Burgers are typical corn fed beef. Good buns but raw onions, bland tomato and iceberg lettuce were a turn off. Also note that they put mayo on all of their burgers. It was cooked evenly so I think the problem is more of a food selection and supply issue than a cook/chef issue. The fries are evenly deep fried but they are generic fries LOADED with salt. Salt warning! The huckleberry Gorgonzola salad looks amazing on the menu but is actually crazy sugary. The dressing is overpowering (even on the side) and the raw onions do not mix well with the pile of candy covered nuts in the salad. Pass for the future despite a good concept. Overall the restaurant is clean, bright, great conceptual menu, the food is prepared well, but the total experience is a let down. It simply is a classic sugar/salt/fat menu disguised as something good. We will avoid in the future. read more

Well if you want the worst service in the entire City, eat at Noah's! Food is average + but after you wait for couple of hours to get your food, your so frustrated that if it was perfection you wouldn't care! There is no, none at all, management ! Well, we tried to eat here as a part of 4. The restaurant says here they are open til 10:00 pm every day. At 8:49 with people at tables in the restaurant and in the bar "the kitchen just closed." Gee, and we were in the mood for steaks. read more

Garbage. The food looks pretty, but tastes like a frozen dinner. Which maybe you eat that, but do you pay 12-15 buckaroos for it? The worst part of this place is the staff, they suck at their job. Difficult to get a first or second order in, be beers or food. They hardly notice you're there . This is true if it's busy, slow, and even if there's a game on(super bowl included). They may be open the latest, but I'd rather go to the grocery store the go here. I interior is very nice and I comfortable. Highly recommend new management. Noah's should be a staple, not a disappointment. read more

The staff is terrible. When we first opened the door no one was at the front desk to greet us. Finally someone saw us and say us after about 6 minutes. The next terrible experience was the wait for our food. So, so slow, even our appetizer took ages to get. It was about an hour to get our food which was burgers and pizza. When we got our burgers they were burnt! Not like a bit burnt but most of the out side was charcoal. The first few bites you couldn't taste anything except burnt and crunch. We were so hungry we did not wait, because we knew it would be an hour To get a replacement. We had teriyaki burgers and my kids had pizza. The drinks were good though strawberry lemonade read more

I'm not sure why everyone is giving this place a bad review. We had great service and great food too! The salmon sandwich was tasty, the fries were loaded with garlic seasoning and the ahi salad was perfect. Ok - maybe there could have been more tuna, but it was great nonetheless. Our friend ordered a bacon burger that looked amazing. Maybe the other reviewers were just grumpy from a long journey. read more

Nothing to complain about! Came here after a trip in Montana, camping in the woods. The mashed potatoes are 100 out of 10, and the burgers are juicy and delicious! Oh please! Why can't the Canteen staff clear outdoor tables for over an hour. In the 85 degree heat there was food, drinks, chips, used napkins on ALL OUTDOOR TABLES. Ok, in desperation we bussed our table and waited - waited - waited - waited order drinks and waited waited waited. We were served lemonade and tea -another 20 mins we ordered food - after one hour we paid for drinks and canceled our lunch - ridiculously and poorly run. read more
