One of the managers (Adrienne) who came out to cut the lock seemed off the whole time and seemed to have known something. Given all the facts about this, wouldn't be surprised if this was an inside job. Apparently from what the detectives told me, there have been 20+ storage unit breakins in January and February, and mine was an isolated incident in March. Kinda strange... Public Storage won't re-inburse you for renting from them. Nope... Stay far away from this place... Rent somewhere else...

They provide a moving truck for renters to use and have a good supply of hand carts to help you with loading/unloading. They sell locks for individual units or you can bring your own. There's no shortage of supplies for what you need to move your stuff in, unlike other storage facilities in town. They're location is in a great spot just off of the 281/1604 junction. The management is always looking for ways to accommodate their renters. They even offer a military discount for active duty. I'm very pleased with the service and experience and I highly recommend them.

Call the main office for help, they try to help me in but let me know you need someone in person so they try and get in touch with the manager and tell me I should hear back within an hour. The whole day goes by, meanwhile I still had to move my stuff and had already rented a van to do so, so opted for another place down the road. They ended up leaving a voicemail, I show up an hour before they closed and still waited outside a locked door for 50 minutes. Abby helped me and let me know I could get everything refunded and should hear back within a week. A few weeks go by, as I have a life and things get busy. I email to create a paper trail and was able to talk to Renee then Brian who let me know the management was shifting but let me know I should get refunded within 1-2 weeks after verifying my information. It's now been 2 MONTHS since hearing back, and I've sent many follow up emails as I will not trust a verbal confirmation at this point. They also have at least 4 different numbers listed?? They even sent you your storage number by email. We had to stop at the office and they explained everything to us. It was soo easy. When we walked inside, we had a little baggie with instructions, and our lock. So, we canceled the pricey one and saved some $$ by getting a climate control one. Eventhough I am not storing documents in here... the other one was full of insects, spiders, and other yucky little creatures. This one will be cleaner than the other one...Sweet!!!
