-We regularly had to wait 5 days or more to hear back from our sales contact, whose default was to make excuses, tell me to do things that better client support would have been all over (e.g. "please call my dispatch at xxx-xxx-xxxx to learn more about shipping issues because that is what I would have to do anyways"...apparently the 20 K in moving charges did not include a point of contact that covered anything above and beyond anything you could do for yourself (for the cost I wish I would have done EVERYTHING myself and used Pods or some similar service as it would have gotten the project done much better for far less) - had to call multiple people numerous times to cobble together a flawed understanding of a simple action plan. -Move out went relatively smooth. A team of 7 or so workers loaded the truck(s) in relatively quick fashion and followed through on the plan that had been established. -Move in was a nightmare. After extended period of dysfunctional deficient communication we were notified of a move in date with little time to prepare. The move was scheduled to begin earlier than we would have liked. We rolled with it because we were eager to bring this unpleasant process to an end. I went to work that morning thinking that I would return 10 hours later to a furnished home. I soon learned that was wishful thinking. After returning home to find our driveway strewn with wet belongings, I discovered that the moving company had only assigned 2 workers to move into a 4500 sqf house. The movers unloaded the entire truck at once into the driveway completely oblivious to the fact that an afternoon shower is all but a certainty in the afternoon during this time of the year in the area we live. They did not have any tarps and they did not put down anything to cover the floors on the inside of our new home. After the down pour came, many of our possessions were soaked and the inside of our new home was soaked and soiled. -The movers worked very hard but they were not well managed. Two movers took far too long to unload the truck and they were unable to position many of the larger items where we wanted them. As a result, we were left with many items in our garage and many others disassembled and/or damaged. -When we called to communicate how poor the experience had been and express our disappointment, management was receptive. It landed on us, however, to file a claim and tend to everything that was done poorly. We paid nearly 20K for this move and do not have the time to manage a moving company's lacks and mistakes. Had this been done the first time around as it should have been we could have avoided this correcting and project managing their mess. I will update this review once the claim process plays out, but as it currently stands I can say of the 5 long-distance moves my wife and I have paid for over the course of the past 15 years, this one with Noah's Ark has been the absolute worst by far. My move with Noh's Ark was phenomenal, better than I would have wished, much less expected. From the initial visit to generate a quote, to the follow-ups, including carefully answering my questions, to the various levels of the confirmation process (email and phone) I knew I was dealing with an organized company, and expected a smooth move. It was better than that. The team called and asked if they could come early, and then, after an assessment of what was to be done, got to work. They were hard, and careful workers as individuals, but were a strong team as well. One example -- I had 40 boxes of books that had to be carried up two flight of stairs at the destination. They did it as a relay, one off the truck, one up the first set of stairs, one up the second stairs. I noticed that, if the team member on the upper level couldn't get down in time (I had asked them to organize the book boxes a certain way so I could get them on shelves more easily), the second team member didn't wait at the bottom of the stairs, he started up those stairs to keep things moving. Helped me, was hard on them, but it was a natural gesture for the team. The move went well, finished early, all moved safely and without damage, and it was fun to talk to them. On a hot day, they more than earned the tip I gave them, and the best tip I can give you is to consider Noah's Ark for your move. read more

This is the second time I used them. They are amazingly honest, on time. Their movers are quick efficient, dressed professionally and courteous. First time was a multistate move, this time an outdoor garden statue. There dispatcher was constantly available. Their prices are so much better than others. I was screwed over by a previous mover so I know that this company is so much better than most others. No horror stories. No shady dealings. I can't recommend them enough! They deserve every penny of the tips that they received. Please use them. My statue was handled w care, placed on the base and leveled out. Super great bunch of men. read more

Once again, Noah's Ark came through for us with a difficult move. The original move-out saw all of our belongings packed into Pods and taken away for storage. We just had everything unloaded and put back in its proper place in the new home. Out of an entire home of antique pieces, not one of them was broken. This is a testament to the skill and ability of the team that packed the Pods, and of the team who expertly unloaded them. We couldn't be happier, and continue to affirm that they are the best in the business, hands down. read more

Noah's Ark Moving and Storage was excellent to work with. From the time they showed up at the door for the estimate to the time they left our new home, the 6 man team tirelessly and most importantly, respectfully and professionally. They were fast, clean (took shoes off at new house), and dealt with any problems that arose in a timely and professional manner. Their customer service was also top notch. I would recommend Noah's Ark to anyone moving in the NY/CT area. They were a pleasure to deal with. read more

Thank you Noah's Ark for helping me move my parents last weekend. It was a very stressful situation and the guys helped me so much. They were on time and when the men came they really hustled and worked so hard. They were with me at every turn, trying to help me with anything that I needed, even making sure I didn't lose the little clips to our bookshelves. Great Job! I would highly recommend this company. P.S. it was the third time my family has used them, and every time they were great. Betsy Arnold. read more

I used Noah's Ark for the first time last January for a move into storage. I must say I was very impressed with the customer service from the office as well as the crew who arrive on time and ready to work. Same great experience with the move out of storage. Accurate pricing and the crew took very good care of our furniture. The owner Jude is very professional and he is always available. I have recommended Noah's Ark to many of my family and friends and will continue to do so in the future. read more

The Noah's Ark Team is amazing! They were very helpful and accommodating. We work as a 3rd party relocation team and The NA team helped us greatly in coordinating a move for our clients from NY to DC. They were friendly and professional and were able to give us an accurate quote based on our list of items for shipping and approximate size. Billing was easy and strait forward. We definitely plan to use them again and would recommend them to our friends and colleagues. read more

I had a lease expiring and had to find movers with only 1 week turnaround and Noah's didn't hesitate to help me! I moved from an apartment in Greenwich to a house in Norwalk and the team helping me were great. They were careful with my furniture while also moving everything quickly. When we got to the house in Norwalk they moved everything to the correct rooms and reassembled the furniture. I highly recommend them if you have a move coming up! read more

Your stuff is in good hands with these folks. Reasonably priced and totally on top of details, calling to let you know they're on their way, confirming the appointment etc. When they arrived to move a piano they took great care to protect both the piano and the walls, floor and doorways. Super nice folks that did the moving and the customer service - again, was as good as it gets. read more

These guys are awesome. I have used them 3 times now, and they never disappoint. Today's move was tricky in that they had to hoist up 8 foot sofas up over a second floor balcony and into the house that way because the stairs were too narrow. No problem! All went very smoothly, they were early, efficient and very pleasant- couldn't do enough for me. THANKS GUYS!!! read more

I just moved from CT into NYC. I was really stressed about the whole process, but Noah's Ark made it so easy! The entire experience, from my first phone call through actual moving day, was amazing. The crew of 4 was on time, professional, and extremely efficient. I highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them again for my next move. read more

Salvador and his crew were perfect. Really, I have nothing but wonderful things to say. I'm honest, if there is a prob, I say so. I had a flawless move, and I really needed their help with heavy art books and furniture and a 4 floor walkup AND a storage unit. They helped me start a new life after a rough spot and the price was more than fair. read more

This was the best experience I've ever had moving, thanks overwhelmingly to the crew that moved me. They were right on time, were friendly and affable - jovial, even - actually insisted I relax, and worked their bottoms off in high humidity with lightening speed and without one complaint. read more

Noah's and the moving team did an exceptional job. From quotations, to the move. Detail oriented, well equipped and professional crew. All went on time, on budget and with no damages. What else you can ask for a house moving? Thanks Noah's for taking care of my move. Good Job!! read more
