I have dealt with hundreds of subcontractors. no wires just switched my 93-year-old mother over to dish from spectrum. they took care of everything! no hassle,on time saved her hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't ever recommend this company, No Wires Media, Medford, Or for anything. My husband went in to upgrade our Dish services and we were told they don't do upgrade but can get us to switch to Direct TV and save us a couple hundred dollars a month on various fees we were paying. We paid $100 at that time just to sign up and another $125 when Justin came and installed the Direct devices. Our monthly bill was quoted and signed for to be $88 per month. The first bill we received ..2 days after installation....was $176. The second bill was $155. On the bill was noted that a discount we signed up for and were promised was disallowed and there was a channel plan we did not want on the bill but were being charged for. We were told and promised that all interactions for problems would be quickly done by the owner, Lyle, and that we should NOT call Direct for help. We had a problem the very next day and called them...We were told that Lyle would get right back to us. We NEVER heard from him or anyone else. Because we had by this time paid almost $600 for a service that was to have cost us $88 per month we knew we had been scammed. I called Direct because we should not be held to th 24 month contract since we were not paying the contract fees. It took two days.....one day the problem was resolved to our satisfaction...that we could cancel at any time without penalty. My husband said I should call back the next day and confirm....I called and was told the exact opposite. I had to go to the supervisor...and insist we be allowed to cancel without penalty and after an hour the contract was cancelled. Direct told me that they were not responsible for anything a 'third party' company promised. This company deals in scams. I would never use them or recommend them. In fact just the opposite. I will tell everyone they are dishonest. We were so happy to return to Dish where honesty and great customer service are their primary concern Direct TV is an AT&T company and we have been AT&T customers for many years and very happy to remain AT&T customers. This is my initial review of No Wires Media. I look forward to writing two more reviews after I get my services and after a year of service. I first asked the employee, Ian, how he gets paid if he provides free services of coordinating services between customers and Internet service providers. He told me that he earns payment from the service providers by providing them with customers. I thought to myself that I was going to get internet anyways without any help, but I might as well help this guy get paid too. Then I asked why are there no reviews on yelp for his company when it seems like they provide excellent service. Ian did not know why that was the case. Ian provided me with the two best options in my area, he delved into the details of each service provider all while answering my curious questions with delight. I had already researched the prices of some of the options he presented me on my own and I was happy to see that our numbers matched. Ian, of No Wires Media, then let me choose which provider package was more beneficial to me. I chose and Ian took my information and coordinated services with my chosen provider. Because of my certain choices I will have to wait three days to receive a modem in the mail to set up my internet. Ian then cheerfully promises to help me along the way if I need troubleshooting assistance and other service plan questions in the future free of charge. This all sounds too good to be true. Stay tuned for my inevitable follow-up reviews of No Wires Media. But as for now No Wires Media and Ian receive my highest recommendation. Five/Five stars. read more

There is no way I would ever recommend this retailer on helping to acquire any services. I went in to inquire what they could do for us, it seemed like a good deal to change from Directv to Dish so I went for it. The woman kept saying, come in after Dish is installed and we will cancel the Directv. I decided the next day to stop in and take care of cancelling Directv and finish out the order. While cancelling Directv, Directv wanted to offer us a different package to save more money. I was put on the spot by both the saleswoman and the sales guy to just cancel and not talk to Directv rep. So I continued with my cancelling Directv without listening to any other offers. The next day I received an email from Directv that caused me to call and see what they had to say. After spending more time, with Directv, I was able to lower my bill and save time. I immediately called the retailer and told them to cancel the install for Dish and I would call them at a later date. To which, the retailer got mad and said that she wouldn't have helped me if she knew I was going to cancel. I hung up after a few more minutes and said I would speak with her at a later date. After a few minutes she called me back and said that she felt that I now owed her $40 for her time. Told her I wasn't going to pay her $40 and she did not tell me that she was going to charge me for her time. And, there is nothing in writing to support her call. I hung up. I also spent some time to look up their website and no where on there does it say they charge a fee to help people switch services. A few minutes later my phone rings from a number I did not recognize so I do not answer it. When I checked my messages, she left one saying she was going to send me to collections if I didn't pay the $40. She then proceeded to send me text messages harassing me and saying she had a witness. I sent her a text back saying she doesn't have anything in writing, she can't charge me for something after the fact and her "witness" is not credible. If she continued with this, I would countersue for harrassment. To which she sent another text calling me evil. So boys and girls. The lesson is, don't do business with someone who clearly doesn't understand how to business in a professional manner, get everything I writing, with signatures on what you are contracting for and how much it is going to cost the user, i.e., the customer. Without it, the business can say what they want and try to bully you into paying for something that is not a service, but as a favor to the person who wants to possibly make a change. read more

I highly recommend No Wires. Cheriesse is very helpful at providing you with a complete solution for your TV, internet, and phone needs. She is also very experienced at dealing with service providers and can adjust, change, or resolve just about any situation or contract. For me, I was paying just over $200 for two internet and one land line. We got 8 channels over the air for free. Cheriesse was able to get the same two internet accounts, a new land line, and DirectTV all for $133 a month. Basically we've gone from 8 to 100+ TV Channels while saving over $70 a month. Yes, you can do some of this yourself but, again, Cheriesse is great at helping you with the total package: knowing which providers' plans to use and how get them all setup at the lowest cost. Plus moving forward, she can be very helpful. For example, the $100 Visa card I was promised from DirectTV never got mailed to me, and after several calls I was unable to get anywhere. (This was not due to No Wires, it was due to the merger with AT&T and their screwed-up system). I stopped by No Wires and after 15 minutes Cheriesse got my bill credited $100. And her husband, Lyle, is a really nice guy and did a very professional job on our installation. Our service has worked very well except for snowy days which is just the way satellite service is. But we have had even fewer technical issues with DirectTV than we had cable service, a big part owing to the installation and setup. read more

Terrible. continue to push my appointment back words were in a day ended up showing up a week after the original time they told me they would and then when they did show up they used all of my old equipment instead of giving me new equipment and then on top of that I wanted it mounted on a pole and not on my house and refused to do it even though I told them previously before they showed up that I did not want it mounted on my house. My daughter signed up with No Wires Now. The installer from the internet service company she selected came out but didn't know what he was doing. He said he had to get into the vacant condo next door, which is ridiculous. Both I and my daughter called No Wires Now multiple times. Nicole never answers her phone. I left messages at all three phone numbers I found for them. No one answered and I left messages at each for Nicole to call me. The next day I called another internet provider. My daughter went to one of their stores and picked up a little self-installation kit and in minutes her internet was up and running. Nicole finally called back. I told her she and her services were no longer needed. read more

We had this company do the installation for Hughesnet satellite internet. We live in a very rural area, difficult to get any service companies to come out here. They saw us much earlier than was originally promised by Hughesnet. The installation technician, Tyler, was outstanding. Fast, courteous and he took the time to give a thorough education on our new service. I highly recommend these folks. read more

These people make their money by taking customers to collections without any due process.The incompetent installer took my copy of the contract and would only send me a picture of it. [a bad one] After repeated calls, Direct let me out of the contract, we went back to dish, [which is 10 times better than direct] 'Lyle' whom I never met because he failed to show up, sent us to collections for 400.00. with no warning, letter, phone call, nothing. THIS IS A SCAM! Do not do business with these weasels. I was lied to repeatedly by these jerks and ripped off. I recently heard an interview with Charise on the Bill Meyer show, He asked her 'If your services are free, how do you make money?' She never answered the question, she changed the subject. So if you enjoy flushing money down the toilet, pulling your hair out, spending hours on the phone with satellite companies and collection agencies, these are the people to see. read more

BEWARE. Promised to lower our price for same cell service. Not true. Promised to lower our land line for same service. Didn't happen. Price quoted for Dish turned out to be much higher. We quickly cancelled Dish. Dish said they would waive early cancellation charge. This company sent $480 to collection company without billing or calling. Proceed at your own risk. read more

I have had a wonderful experience with No Wires Media in Medford. I first heard of No Wires in the Sneak Preview Issue of "Best Businesses in Medford." I was unhappy with Charter and went in to find my options. The owner Cheriesse was very helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel like I was talking to sales agent, but rather a friend helping me make a decision. I signed up for DIRECTV and Centurylink. I saved soo much money...it was incredible. I got new equipment, DVR, HD...the works! The other owner Lyle came to do the installation. He called an set the appointment, he arrived within the window and even called when he was on his way to I didn't have to wait around all afternoon like I've down with Charter before! The customer service is terrible. They don't return phone calls when you have problems or outages, don't keep appointment times and it takes days to get anything done. The owner told us that one of the perks with going local was that "you have us" -- not at all. I have received much more of a headache from them then I find necessary! I called them AFTER my scheduled appointment time (and waiting around for them to show up) to have them tell me that they wouldn't be there for the instillation and it would be at least two more days because they didn't have the right equipment. Not a good way to run a business. Not to mention they said they could bundle plans (Yea, sure no problem) that they couldn't bundle, nor checked into at the time... Not a satisfied customer at all!! read more

We have been going to No Wires since they opened and have had wonderful service. Charisse is always able to find us a better deal for our TV and internet service. Why should I make numerous calls to different cable and internet companies when she knows which ones to call to get us a great deal. We have also had great service from Lyle who comes out to hook things up. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with cable/satellite companies and go see Charisse. read more

OK people all I ask is that you use common sense before even remotely thinking about using no wires. If you really think you can get a better internet deal through no wires your wrong. Don't believe me do the math and inquire before even thinking about going to no wires and you'll find you will get a better deal going directly through Dish or which ever provider you wish to use. No wires knows this. No wires makes money on cancellations. Not only will no wires not send you a bill for $400 if you cancel under the 2 year contract with them but the service provider company you go with will charge you the $400 as well. This is how no wires profit. If you do cancel no wires sends you instantly to collections and if you try and contact them they will avoid you at all cost and disconnect your conversations via facebook or any other source. Another thing is no wires owners husband will come out and try and install. This man is very obese and can not fit under your house so he will try and sub contract someone to come and crawl under the house for him and charge you a lovely $40. You will do best if you steer clear of these thieves and just call a service provider. You don't need a second party to do what you can do on your own. Don't risk being ripped off read more

Nick was nice enough. But seemed unsure about what was going with the business. I don't know who is running this place but it seems like they gotta get it together. After They took my credit card info to get a deposit, I couldn't get ahold of anyone. It says they are open 24/7 but I can't get anyone On The phone. Nick said he would call me last Thursday to let me know my installation date. But no one called and I've been trying since then to get anyone on the phone.
