I have never left a review anywhere, but felt compelled to comment on the stellar service that I received there. They are kind, patient and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to give me the best possible deal and spent so much time getting me set up and ready to go. I never felt rushed, despite the fact that there were other customers waiting. On the contrary, I felt like their highest priority from the time I entered the store in a panic with a defunct phone until the time that I left with a new working phone. Honestly, you would've thought I was a member of their family, not some stranger who walked in off the street. I cannot recommend this store highly enough.

I went back to the store later and the manager said it was because my phone was on a grandfathered plan that wasn't eligible, but I was never made aware of it by the sales associates. The manager at the store has absolutely no authority to make things right even though the sales associate admitted that it was his first month and he was poorly trained on the promotion and didn't know until a month later that the promotion would only be applied to new plans. I appreciated the accountability of the sales associate who admitted his part in the issue which is why I gave the store more than one star. I was not impressed with how the manager handled the issue. I know he didn't have authority, but when you are in customer service you hear out the issue and you give empathy. In an ideal world you get on a phone and make it right. Which is what I had to do - 5+ hours later on hold with AT&T support (Note: This is something the manager could have done himself with me in the store) and I finally got it settled. I'm generally happy with the cell phone service itself and the plan, but the customer service and hoops almost made me switch carriers - which is still a possibility going forward. Like another reviewer all the blame isn't on the store - a lot of it had to do with corporate - and maybe it wasn't the manager's best day, but all in all I wasn't impressed.

A Google search showed we might have an option for fiber in our area. Sure enough they'd just run the lines up our long dirt road a few months earlier. They ran fiber two additional poles on the street and then up our property line and to the house. All at no charge. The service was faster than our Charter in Medford and outperformed a Starlink system we tried. Our internet went down and with a quick call the were onsite the next day. Turns out a critter has chewed through a line at the road. A quick fix was put together to get us up and an appointment made for a full fix the next week. Once again crews showed up and got to work. Bang, done. Super polite and easy to work with and for less than any of the other companies we'd tried. Way to go Hunter.

I have all my accounts on automatic withdrawal with my credit card saved for each account. When your credit card expires you can't enter a new credit card information on your online account. You receive emails with no contact information, statements with no contact information. You have to google the business to get a phone number, only way to update payment is by phone. You call and get placed on hold for an hour. Perhaps that's something that could be overlooked IF the internet service was actually decent, it's not. I'd love to support small businesses but not Hunter, I will start looking for an alternative.
