GREAT Customer service, yesterday morning my wife's cell phone just died, dead, stone cold, no outgoing, or incoming calls, or texts. Our phones are a few years old, so we figured it was just what is, time to get a new phone. She was able to get off work early and we went to the Verizon store on Delta Waters Road. We were second in line and the manager greeted us and we explained the problem, Dead Phone we're here for a phone funeral and a new phone, he advised he would have one of the customer support staff be with us shortly. We were looking at the new phones when we were contacted by one of the customer service reps who identified himself as Tyler. We explained the problem and he asked if he could just take a look at my wife's phone. He did a check of the phone and advised the problem was more than likely just a corrupted sim card. It only took him a few minutes and he had removed the corrupted card, installed another and the phone was revived. Alive and well. Tyler was polite, professional, and certainly proficient in his job. He was just as importantly if not more, HONEST. He could have easily sold us a new phone and we would have never had an inkling that we really didn't need the new phone, we were there to purchase a phone. Read reviews which were bad but I was just going in for some chargers for IPhone Selected a few - total cane to $73.57 I swiped my US bank card - and sales guy said - oh dear machine didn't accept ! I had plenty in the account & said I can already see on my phone it went through....Allen said no the machine must be having problems- directed me to another machine & used different credit card from Chase bank ! It went through AGAIN! The sales guy said don't worry - that other charge will be canceled! It wasn't!! 3 days later it was completed by US bank - but nobody at the store would take any time to correct the problem! Worst part was how rude they were on the phone ! I was charged twice but now it was my problem???? What kind of business is going on! Filed a case with my bank for reversal of the first charge - will never set foot back in there !! read more

My mother in law's sim card was not working and customer support asked me to send her to this location to have an e-sim added to her phone. Prior to this an indirect store sold her a new phone, but she only wanted hers fixed. When she got there a woman who said she was the assistant manager called me and said she will not add a e-sim to old phone until she returns her new one. I tried to explain customer service told me otherwise. She would not let me speak and kept interrupting me until I asked her to please stop cutting me off, which she didn't so I asked if she had a listening problem. She then hung up phone on me and kicked my mother in law out of the store. Customer service is completely incompetent. Have dealt with them 7 times now to resolve a single issue. Which was si.ply to have my svc switched to a replacement pho e i purchaced since my original one was stolen which they couldn't help me track where it was or what was being done by the theif. Once finally fixed it stops working g again. Hold times are insane. They say it'll. E an 8 to 11 min hold time and is darn near an hour! Very rude staff. They simply tell me to turn off my device for 15 mins and then turn on and svc will surely be fixed. It's not and instead of them calling back to make the issue was resolved I instead have to call them again and proc eed to wait another hour on hold. When finally able to make and receive calls they assume my needs are met without checking the rest of my svc I'm paying for such as data. That's happened 2 days in a row and actually tried to tell me I needed to purchase the data when I already had done so. Then tell me what kind if Sim kit to purchase which I write down and give to Walmart and when call with the new Sim number they say it's not compatible. I made the mistake of not realizing there's an a Sim and also b Sim. But then again they don't tell me that either with u know damn well they are aware of. Tell me I need to go back to Walmart to get the. Correct Sim card. Let me get off the phone in a big hurry MInd u and the sec they hang up is when realize I had another Sim card in the kit the entire time but have to call again and hold fora while and then be told hours are up and to call back tomorrow........ once all that finally gets resolved the next day my data was never transferred over. OMG! The worst! I needed a mobile hot spot to supplement my plan for a few months. I told the [2] sales staff what my wireless needs were: wife had some emails and modest MS Office files up and down to the cloud. I did some gaming, and we both streamed Netflix at night for a few hours. They both said the Orbic Speed ($90) would be more than I needed. It came with 50Gb which would also be plenty. I neglected to ask the bandwidth (my bad). Well... the device would only pass 5-10Mbs (Ookla Speedtest). AND... I used up the 50Gb after 5 days they reported (do the math... it doesn't add up). Then it throttled back to 2-3Mbs. They had not disclosed this minor detail to. We were in lag city. I went to the Verizon store and complained. "TOO BAD", the young Tyler told me. I could return it or upgrade to the $200 box and pay a $50 restocking fee, or take a hike (my words). No amount of logic or reasoning would sway him even though he did admit he had the power to waive the fee but wouldn't. He said the box was not defective since it worked. (shrug) We struggled along for the 30 day period we had paid for and then cancelled. By the way, it was miserable trying to cancel. Nobody in the store could do it, and that function is not available online. Finally one store person gave me the number to call. Bottom line... I had TURTLE bandwidth for 30 days... and paid $105 for the privilege. I'm shopping for a new carrier. read more

Maybe I just have poor phone karma, and have shared it with my wife, but our phones were taking on a life of their own, not texting, or not receiving requiring a restart to operate properly. Tried to get a second line and some additional accessories on my account the staff ended up changing my bill removing my military discount, gave me faulty SIM card so my new phone didn't work. I wouldn't say they have bad customer service other than during the interaction with their store clerk he told me how excited he was to go home and proceeded to discuss his relationship status with his coworkers rather than focusing on my account. This place is the worst Verizon Store I have ever been too. I live about 40 minutes from this, the only corporate store in the area. I drove over last week and was informed that I need to make an appointment because of the virus. The young man acted as if he really didn't want to be bothered with me. He told me to go online to take care of my issues. I have very poor internet and that would not work for me. So I called today to make an appointment. After waiting for about 10 minutes to get someone on the phone they had to transfer me to the store. The call cut off. I called back and this young man said he would stay on the line until they picked up! Well he is gone and I have been on hold for 40 minutes now. read more

Be careful about anything you are told in this store. Especially by Lauren or Kyle. They absolutely lied to me about my phone replacement order. Get anything that is said in writing. And really, just go to a different location all together. I've spent probably 15 hours trying to get a refund for a phone I purchased at the store (that was returned in the 14 day window and in mint condition). They accepted the return and never issued a refund. Further they refused to do so even when Verizon phone reps asked them to. Verizon central eventually refunded my order. my husband kindly ordered me a Series 7 Apple Watch and I only opened two little plastic pieces to see it and when I realize the series eight is coming out in less than a month , I decided to wait for the upgraded product and THEY CHARGED US FIFTY DOLLARS for opening those two plastic seals. I never uploaded my phone to the watch or even took the head out of the sheath. $50 DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in to switch to Verizon yesterday. The sales person told me it was safe to leave my old phone I was trading in and he would make sure it finished backing up. He left if over night and was not working the next day. The back up was never completed and someone swiped my phone data and I lost all of my data from the most current back up. When I called to speak with the manager he just said, "oh oops, sorry". He didn't even care that I was completely screwed over loosing a lot of valuable data that I needed. All because his employee was in a rush to make a sale, and had assured my phone and data would be safe in their hands. I almost left Verizon after years. No wonder people tell me they hate Verizon in this area, it's the store. I was within my 14 days to return a new device, or pay on it and he said I was outside of my 14 days, refused to let me call Customer/Service to find out why. He would not let me return or exchange my phone nor make a payment on it in my 14 days, and told me not to come back? He said I had an upgrade, I said no, a replacement, and they activated a new phone and I have until April 2nd. I went home to find out I was in fact right. He said I had to keep the phone, and not come back? I went home to find out he didn't know what he was talking about, and why. I took my very bad new S 8 in,He said the problems were normal, all the phones have them, you have to reset the phone often. C/S said later he is wrong, it is defective, not working even after the reset, and you do not have to reset the phone often to get rid of these particular problems. I would have been stuck paying for an S 8 which developed more problems. You cannot talk about problems with phones, he takes it personal. the other woman saw I was ordered the wrong accessories for the phone they gave me, and set up an order. It never was there. I had to repay for them all over again, because she did not put the order in and give me an order number. This store is going to make Verizon store is the reason people tell me they do not use Verizon. They are supposed to fix problems, not make them worst and make you leave upset. Good luck, walk on eggshells, but watch your stuff, he keeps it and does what he wants, and does not tell you why. I doubt you'd get this kind of back hills service if you were in Eugene or Portland. Worst customer service on the planet. Confuse customers to the point they have no idea what they are signing anymore. The employees give a basic over view of the contract but they are lies. Sad these companies feel the need to con people in order to get a contract signed. They also tell you they are doing a soft inquiry but again credit report says Hard inquiry pulled. Went in to get help with a device that is Verizon. The associate was rude to me and wouldn't help. He just repeated excuses. When he spoke with my manager he told him the information he wouldn't tell me, while I could hear him say all of it. He basically went out if his way to talk down to a verizon user and waste several peoples time, while I know have the info he was so uptight about not sharing. We went to this store specifically so that we could purchase a phone in full, but that's all we should have done. They were very rushed and uninterested in helping us, and wouldn't answer any of our questions in full. The woman we worked with was obviously just trying to get out of there for the day (even though she approached us when we walked in an hour and a half before closing) and didn't put my new SIM card in my phone, didn't put on my husband's screen protector, didn't even add me to the plan. We had to go into a different TTC Verizon store (the one in Grants Pass on Terry Lane) in order to get anything done or get any of our questions answered. My experience with Verizon has always been satisfactory. I decided to visit this corporate store but the poor customer service experience with Miss. Store greeter left me NO solution and a very horrible impression of this corporate location. Due to COVID, I totally understand that we need an appointment. I patiently waited outside the store for my turn, instead Miss. Store greeter gave me false expectations on wait time, false promises, rude treatment and negative language before I could even talk to a sales representative. The dialogue exchanged was so unprofessional and childish that she basically told me to go to other competitions, and she said she doesn't have to help me. The experience really has me contemplating a change in my wireless service. Save your time and energy, go to Costco or other authorized dealers in town for your cellphone needs. This last visit isn't the first time the staff has shown themselves to be incompetent but it is the first time that it's happened and they weren't even nice about it. I had an iPad that stopped working. It's not eligible for upgrade but still under warranty. They offered to put in a request for a box to be mailed to me to send off for inspection, and then repair or replacement. I need this for work so the employee told me I can purchase a new one on sale for $259. Fine, I'll do that. But then he mentions I now need to have two lines at $20/month for 2 years. I just want the new one added to the existing line. He says, ok but it will cost $459 instead of $259. I'm not happy but I'm in a bad spot and agree. Then as he's putting in the order he says he's canceling the warranty request as I won't need that tablet because I'm buying the new one. It seemed like every single step of the way he was going out of his way to find ways to make this as difficult as possible. With the exception of the gentleman that helped me today, the staff is really nice. Extremely undertrained but at least nice. It would be very hard for me to recommend this company to others Had to update and give the 1 star. I waited 13 days for the tablet that I needed the same day. Out of the box the replacement/refurbished tablet was broken with a line that goes across the screen. Luckily for me, there are better options in the same parking lot and we're no longer verizon customers. read more

However, I was at the store for over an hour with a problem and rather than interceding and offering to troubleshoot on my behalf, he left me alone to call another department for help. I was very frustrated. On the other hand, I was then able to have Salvador help me. Wow! He is wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and a problem-solver. He took care of the issue I was having right there in the store! He certainly is a much valued employee at Verizon and I am grateful to have gotten him to solve my problem. We reviewed Verizon locations in Medford to arrange visit time for a phone upgrade/replacement. From he reviews online we determined that a morning visit mid week would be a staffing best time. We arrived, we were politely greeted to get our name in queue and then in a matter of minutes we were assisted by Brandon Hettings. Great customer service - provided exactly what our checklist items had and prepared our phone to walk out the door operating. The manager Jake was not very customer service focused. He told me to go to Otterbox online to get a replacement. I had already done that and there was no replacement for the one I bought. He just repeated that I had to go online. I told him again that it didn't work and if he thinks it does, he should show me. Well he said "wow" like I was a two year old and was a jerk about it. They send you a message to deal with a digital phone call which I don't want to do when I have questions. Machines don't have answers and don't talk to you! I purchased the new iPhone 12, was sent home with the new phone in the box, a screen protector and no instructions on how to activate the phone. It was a very unnecessary frustrating experience that could have easily been avoided if the customer service rep had done her job and given clear instructions on the activation process. Instead I drive an hour to my residence, open the box, install the screen protector and the phone won't activate, and I have no service to call them to correct the issue! So I will be returning tomorrow to get it done right, something that should have been done before leaving the store to begin with, but I felt like I was being rushed out of there and I have always had the rep activate my new iPhones, and put on the screen protector. We have been with Verizon for over 10 years we've had some issues from time to time but we've always been treated with respect until today! The employee named Betty was outrageously rude and disrespectful to us as soon as she walked over she had attitude and was diffensive she cut me off as I was talking said she was just going to get a manager cause she couldn't deal with it!!!
