I put my sim card from my old phone in and it worked. I went to Verizon to switch and was informed that it had a provider lock on MY new phone. How does a company that is a "bring your own phone, pay as you go" have the ability or the right to lock my phone? I had to pay Cricket for another month of service or lose my number and be left with a new phone that is locked. "NO" to a Verizon Visa, "NO" to a watch, "yes" to the hotspot but not 100%, "NO" to a tablet. He WAS aware I had a Samsung G6 (USB) but let me out the door WITHOUT a USB-C so I could CHARGE my new Google Pixel. WHATEVER dude! When I decided to return the DSL hotspot box a week later, UNOPENED, he was curt and really couldn't be bothered with my return or the reason why it was unopened! This situ COULD be a MANAGER/management issue or lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE training but not sure. Regardless, this STORE has an issue. I worked as a territory sales manager for 20 at several Fortune 100 companies so I KNOW what GREAT vs POOR looks like! Oh, and he KEPT my 83 yr old mom's "faulty" Samsung A series phone for HIMSELF, when we mentioned we'd like to "donate" the phone we purchased online that was having "update issues." How UNPROFESSIONAL and probably against Verizon policy...but neither here nor there. My mom and I just wanted our new phones activated so we could get the heck out of there, ASAP!

I had two phones upgraded at this store and both were supposed to have promotions applied, but…read moreneither were applied to my phone bill. I went back to the store later and the manager said it was because my phone was on a grandfathered plan that wasn't eligible, but I was never made aware of it by the sales associates. The manager at the store has absolutely no authority to make things right even though the sales associate admitted that it was his first month and he was poorly trained on the promotion and didn't know until a month later that the promotion would only be applied to new plans. I appreciated the accountability of the sales associate who admitted his part in the issue which is why I gave the store more than one star. I was not impressed with how the manager handled the issue. I know he didn't have authority, but when you are in customer service you hear out the issue and you give empathy. In an ideal world you get on a phone and make it right. Which is what I had to do - 5+ hours later on hold with AT&T support (Note: This is something the manager could have done himself with me in the store) and I finally got it settled. I'm generally happy with the cell phone service itself and the plan, but the customer service and hoops almost made me switch carriers - which is still a possibility going forward. Like another reviewer all the blame isn't on the store - a lot of it had to do with corporate - and maybe it wasn't the manager's best day, but all in all I wasn't impressed.

Once a customer activates the Internet device, he will soon after receive a notice that the Internet service bill will be due soon! I was able to return the device by working with the AT &T rep at the Delta Waters store.

I went in to buy an iPad since my tablet crashed, and add a new service through Verizon. They didn't have the iPad, so I did the next "best thing" and switched from AT&T to Verizon so that I can get signal in this town. They sent me away with a non-operating phone service, blaming it on AT&T saying it could take up to 24 hours before service starts on my phone. I confirmed with AT&T there is no hold ups on their end, but when you need service from Verizon, all you get is somebody from China. Who knows how long before I get service, but I'm day five with no phone so I will have to go back to AT&T. Additionally, since I'm working up in the hills and don't get back into town till late, I finally have the opportunity to speed and get to the store before it closed. I got there seven minutes before it was closed to talk to a "real person", and it was locked with nobody inside.
