It included local distilleries, wineries, breweries, bakeries- everything. I got to try BBQ bacon, a Cardinal Spirits cocktail, Guac and More guacamole and pico de Gallo, and much more. The wide variety of "things" that are made in Indiana was inspiring. There were spices, popcorn, sausages, soaps, lotions, flowers, distilleries and wineries, so it was quite an eye feast and the best part was that several of them had free samples! I didn't have a lot of time to chat with everyone but a few of them mentioned their availability at local farmer's markets during the summer season so I can find many of them in Fishers or Broad Ripple or Binford which is closer to home on the weekend :-) This was a great new event and it was very successful in my mind as I noticed several of my coworkers toting bags of the things they bought on their way home that night. I ended up with charcuterie sausage and a small bottle of the delicious Hotel Tango's Limoncello liqueur. I would welcome this as an annual event... or even more frequent than that.

Did a little more browsing and by the time I'd made it to the register I'd forgotten about it. Clerk bagged the Coronas in a paper bag. Bottle in one hand, when I went to get the bag with the Coronas I was having trouble getting it from behind plastic covering placed as a result of Covid-19. Clerk just watched. Just as I'd managed with a little maneuvering the paper bag breaks open and everything in it hits the floor. Instantly the clerk looked super annoyed, says ugh!, puts his hand on his head, stands there for a long moment, and just storms off to get a mop and bucket. I stand the bag upright and am looking around for something to use to clean the beer off of my legs and feet (as I was wearing sandles). Clerk finally returns and I ask him for paper towel which he hands over without a word and starts cleaning the mess. Didn't apologise, didn't offer to replace my 6 pack, didn't say a word to me after. I chucked it up as a loss and left bc I just wanted to get the hell out of there. Still nothing was said. I stop here often bc it's on my way home from work, but I won't be revisiting. Plenty of other liquor stores nearby to choose from. Learn better manners.

All they had in the case were already quartered. I asked and the went to the back returning with a whole bird. Weighed it slapped a price on It and sent me on my way. Great experiences don't have to be huge, sometimes it's the little things that mean the most. Fast forward to this afternoon, as I walk in 2 employees greeting me. The store is clean, selection is adequate and the employees are courteous and friendly. Produce looks fresh, purchased salad fixings today and I'm pleased.

The prices are not the lowest but they are not outlandish and they do have sales from time to time which is nice. They accept the commons forms of payment as well as things such as WIC or EBT/SNAP. They also process money orders through cash payment at their customer service both and have an ATM near the entrance. The cashiers have always been polite and handled transactions smoothly for me and my family. The store is older but has always been clean when we have shopped there. I really don't have any complaints just my own experience shopping there and my older teens walking down to buy snacks or to grab things like milk or juice for the family. We like having the store to shop at nearby and supporting local businesses.
