I received a nice welcome as I entered and since I knew my way around I began shopping. Everything is arranged by type of liquor with many sale items in the isleways. The selection is respectable and covers what most are searching for. They have a large cooler with multiple selections of beer that is very cold. The variety throughout the store is nice with a good selection of basic liquors and beers most want. The prices are competitive compared to most liquor stores. I wouldn't say the savings is enough to drive out of your way to say a dollar but if your already in the area, stop in. After 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and most weekends get busy but they move the customers quickly. I found what I came for and paid quickly. Nice employees, types of alcohol grouped together, fillers and condiments grouped together and friendly staff.

I decided to finally check out the new location a couple weeks ago. The newer Pam's Pitstop Liquors is a little tucked away and further from the speedway than the original, but it is interestingly in an old auto garage, it seems. The exterior of the building needs a bit of work at first glance. On the inside is a narrow aisle that wanders throughout a maze of liquor. It has a bit of a cluttered feel with all sorts of things for sale everywhere as well as signs depicting brands like Rolling Rock across the walls. I saw everything from ready-made shooters in glass vials to mini spicy snack sausages. I didn't get a look at all they had on the shelves, as I was headed to the beer cooler at the back. Pam's has a pretty good beer selection. Not all of my favorites are there, but quite a few. They don't have the absolute lowest prices, but not the highest either. They also have a decent selection of single tall-boys in the cooler which I was used to seeing in every gas station in other states I have lived in. Since Indiana only has those chilled at liquor stores apparently, it has been awhile since I have seen those and nearly forgot they could be purchased here at all. The beer I wanted was not on sale and I didn't see anything else that caught my fancy at the time, so I just got an oil can of Foster's ale to try. Not the best ale I have ever had by any means, but it was worth a shot. Nice little store that is locally owned that I much prefer to the chain down the street. It has personality and I feel good shopping here. Friendly service by who we assume was Pam herself. I am sure I will return to look around some more and make a larger purchase in the near future.

This isn't our side of town, so we just stopped at the place closest to our exit from the interstate. We purchased a pint-sized bottle of D'usse VSOP Cognac for $33.99. At the Total Wine & More near our house, we could get a 750ml bottle for $39.99. That's twice the amount of alcohol for just a few more bucks! We were not at all thrilled with the pricing, but we just proceeded with the purchase because we were already there. In the future, I would probably travel North on High School Road to another liquor store.

The employees are typically friendly and fast with 2 working during busy hours. There is an entrance off of Cunningham Drive and one from Crawfordsville Road. Beware of the fairly high speed bumps when entering off of Cunningham Drive. This location is one of two liquor stores you'll pass on Crawfordsville Road on your way to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Pam's Pitstop Liquors is second liquor store on Crawfordsville Road close to corner of Auburn Street & Crawfordsville Road. Busy during race season but again they move folks through the lines quick as possible. The strip mall next door has a Jimmy Johns, Canton Express and Papa Murphys if you're looking for one stop carryout food and liquor stop.

Horrible place to go there is black mold all over the store. They DONT CARE about the safety of their staff (thats why the manager Tylar Brock fired me). The manager of the store steals money from out safes and doesnt ever replace it and he steals bottles from other stores when bottles at our store gets stolen. I wouldnt work here or shop here everything they do is illegal.
