I received a nice welcome as I entered and since I knew my way around I began shopping. Everything is arranged by type of liquor with many sale items in the isleways. The selection is respectable and covers what most are searching for. They have a large cooler with multiple selections of beer that is very cold. The variety throughout the store is nice with a good selection of basic liquors and beers most want. The prices are competitive compared to most liquor stores. I wouldn't say the savings is enough to drive out of your way to say a dollar but if your already in the area, stop in. After 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and most weekends get busy but they move the customers quickly. I found what I came for and paid quickly. Nice employees, types of alcohol grouped together, fillers and condiments grouped together and friendly staff.

I decided to finally check out the new location a couple weeks ago. The newer Pam's Pitstop Liquors is a little tucked away and further from the speedway than the original, but it is interestingly in an old auto garage, it seems. The exterior of the building needs a bit of work at first glance. On the inside is a narrow aisle that wanders throughout a maze of liquor. It has a bit of a cluttered feel with all sorts of things for sale everywhere as well as signs depicting brands like Rolling Rock across the walls. I saw everything from ready-made shooters in glass vials to mini spicy snack sausages. I didn't get a look at all they had on the shelves, as I was headed to the beer cooler at the back. Pam's has a pretty good beer selection. Not all of my favorites are there, but quite a few. They don't have the absolute lowest prices, but not the highest either. They also have a decent selection of single tall-boys in the cooler which I was used to seeing in every gas station in other states I have lived in. Since Indiana only has those chilled at liquor stores apparently, it has been awhile since I have seen those and nearly forgot they could be purchased here at all. The beer I wanted was not on sale and I didn't see anything else that caught my fancy at the time, so I just got an oil can of Foster's ale to try. Not the best ale I have ever had by any means, but it was worth a shot. Nice little store that is locally owned that I much prefer to the chain down the street. It has personality and I feel good shopping here. Friendly service by who we assume was Pam herself. I am sure I will return to look around some more and make a larger purchase in the near future.

I said my bank advised me to use it as credit as it affords me better protection against fraud. She said that's not true. He neighbor works at Chase and she says debit is the way to go. My reply was "so you work in a liquor store and you're more informed then my bank? Good to know." She kept going and I finally asked her why her nose was all in my business? She literally screamed at me as I walked out the door. I will never step foot in this store again. There are 3 more liquor stores within 3 miles. They all charge $5 more for what I buy and yet I'd rather pay $5 more then deal with a witch.

I asked the cashier to honored the $14.99 price and I showed her all the tags in the shelf and the store advertising the price. She was very rude saying that she can't do nothing about it and that she is not Walmart to match the price. I decide to leave and I never come back to buy here.
