Soup cracker options & sandwich condiments

I was in the mood for a salad and to my surprise, they had a Caesar and even offer SHRIMP, grilled or breaded chicken as protein additions!! There was an option to add spinach to the Romaine lettuce along with any other veggies, including diced, pickled beets (my favorite) and mixed micro-greens!! Along with the delicious, fresh salad, I asked for a piece of garlic bread and the entire thing just hit the spot!! The service was given with smiling/happy professional employees; thank you, all!! The store is chock full of nice add-ons including chips; drinks; and cookies (and brownies!!) Down from Safeway and Marahalls at end of parking lot!!

Lots of shredded meat, cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, baby spinach and green pepper slices.

OMGTHIS PLACE is NOW our favorite choice for salads to go. There's so much greenery you may need a second tub of dressing. A. M. A. Z. I. N. G.

This is a pleasant little deli style place with bright lighting and decor. The staff are friendly and polite. We hit it right about mid lunch and while it was busy the line moved steadily. I ordered the Golden Club and a bowl of chowder. The lady ordered the antipasto salad. Like most sub stores we got to customize our items with veg and meats. The selection was good with some interesting options such as smoked swiss cheese and sweet pickled peppers... I particularly enjoyed my sandwich. It was more than I could eat in one sitting. The chowder was passable but not the best I've ever had. It was more like a potato soup with some clams... it was tasty anyway. The lady enjoyed her salad and found it to be quite filling and satisfying. Expect to spend about $15 per person with drinks and chips and such. The quality of the food makes that easy to swallow.

Perfect pit stop for lunch on our way down the freeway. Delicious sandwiches, with unique variety. Plus the staff was super friendly and helpful, even with my 3 rowdy kids. Was able to avoid the crowded chain restaurants, and super pleased with this gem.

I adore this place! Today along with my primo sammie, I learned names and met Zach, Lindsay, Savannah, Cami, and Chrissy (the boss lady). They have the best add-in to the sandwiches and my new fav is their own house pickled/brine peppers (so delish). So if you get a hankering for a sammie and want sweet and patient people to help you out by making you the best; then head down and have fun trying to decide. You cannot go wrong no matter what you get.

Bacon & Egg Grinder with havarti and avocado. Super yummy.

You pay a little more but it sure blows subway out of the water. Get the No Boloney on a grinder roll. Don't skimp on the garlic spread.

Ask the Community - No Baloney

Is it around the same price as subway or more expensive? And if it is more expensive by how much and is it worth it?

It's pretty much the same price as Subway, maybe a few cents more. I personally didn't taste a difference.

Is there plenty of indoor seating?

Define plenty. It's not a huge space, but they have a few tables. Great sandwiches.

I highly recommend the grinder bread, with the signature garlic spread, and then customize as you like from there.

The girls were so sweet, Casey is amazing! and the hostess was incredibly accommodating. The food was hands down the best breakfast my husband and I have ever had. I had never been to this side of Albany before, so it was great. Heads up for those of you that have never been here, there is parking on the street, or some parking lots I believe. It's an older building with character. It was really busy, but they fit us right in. I don't quite remember everything on the menu, I do remember they had a wide variety of breakfast, and lunch. There were some salads calling my name, but ultimately there was a French dip that won me over. I must say, I am happy with my choice. It was very flavorful, and I also added a cup of chili. I would recommend both. Service was fast, and the staff were all really nice. Sorry, I didn't get any pics. I was too excited to see my family.

Everything about this place is cool, hospitable, warm and inviting. My oldest kid had a chili dog, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the shepherd's pie and a kids charcuterie board. Both were chef's kiss. The Squeaky Cork houses a full bar, and the spirit selection was quite impressive (particularly the Scotch). The wait staff and bartender were so pleasant and accommodating. No pretension, just good vibes. We appreciated the coloring books and crayons for our little ones as did the more grown-up fare on the kids menu. As a finale to a fun dining experience, the check was brought to us in a Scottish vintage hardcover book, pretty sweet! This eatery was definitely a highlight of our travels. It embodies a community pub vibe, that's for sure.

It is always a big deal for me when I get to tell my wife that we are going to Sybaris. Tonight was going to be even more memorable because we brought our daughter along to celebrate Mother's Day. Our problem began when we ran into traffic and were 15 minutes late. At the door, our waiter informed us that the restaurant seats people every half hour. I apologized and we were seated. If I had known what was coming I would have turned around at the door and left. What followed was two hours of some of the rudest service I have ever experienced. I spent much of my youth working in restaurants in Upstate NY. I know that customers can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but our only mistake was that we were 15 minutes late. We spent the whole meal being polite while this guy continuously made us feel uncomfortable. It's difficult to describe the way this guy was acting. The food came out and it was good, but the waiter was coming off like wise ass. At the end of the meal there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The waiter gave me the bill then waited 15 minutes to pick up my card. I guess he got his satisfaction. If there was any doubt about his intentions, when we were getting ready to leave, he kept asking me if I wanted more water. That's an asshat move. Much to my wife's dismay, I tipped him fair because that's just what you do. My daughter gained a learning experience on the nature of jerks so I suppose that's something, but overall it was a sad twist on what was supposed to be a grand event. Of course we can't ever come back, but please take this information and remind your staff that they are a big part of the dinning experience.
