    Chicken fingers

If you're second guessing whether to pay $22 for chicken fingers, just do it. You won't regret it. We ordered the burger medium rare and it still came out rather dry + lacked flavor. If you're a fan of blue cheese, you're going to love the fries that come with it. Great date spot in Prospect Heights!

This is the epitome of a neighborhood GEM. Nice and cozy inside with welcoming staff, and delicious food. Party of 5, we ordered various burgers, pork chop and broccoli Tacos. Everything was superb, and the fries her are so tasty. They brought over a couple of absolutely scrumptious desserts, the cake by far the best cake I've had in a while! Given I live in Arizona, it is a tragedy that I can't be a regular.

Had to come to check out these broccoli tacos I've been reading about and they did NOT disappoint. These vegetarian tacos truly filled me up. Who would have thought a broccoli taco would make such an impact? I love the casual, minimal interior space. This feels like the type of place that would be cool to be a regular at. I also loved my cocktail. Definitely will be back for more tacos and to try the burger!

After I saw the Laura Palmer cocktail on the menu, I was hoping there would be some damn fine cherry pie, but sadly the Twin Peaks references ended there. This review is 5 stars solely because of the broccoli taco. I don't know what was in the sauces since it was too dark sitting at the bar, but it was incredible. I must also praise the very effective taco architecture, with a hard taco skeleton and an additional soft taco layer for support. The crispy tofu sandwich was good and like a vegetarian version of a fried chicken sandwich, but felt quite heavy after just a couple of bites.

I'm a creature of habit when I visit no. 7: broccoli tacos, a plate of fries, and a glass of chilled white wine. It's a winning combo and I cannot be convinced to order anything else. I used to be a regular at their spot in Fort Greene and must say they did a great job recreating the ambiance at the Vanderbilt location. It's a bit of a tighter squeeze, but I suppose that adds to the charm. Good drinks and good service too.

The burger is the only thing that's good here. Very limited menu. Drinks are mediocre. The chicken sandwich was meh. And french fries just ok.

My only gripe. There were only 3 Shrimp in the whole dish. If you offer half and half, truly make it half and half. Sesame wings- sticky and sweet. Nicely seasoned and prepared. Shrimp scampi- tasty and juicy. Very fresh and deelish!! Butternut squash soup- very good and silky. Brussel sprouts- not pictured or on the menu but, they came out nice and toasty. I also ordered a Tito's and club soda from the bar. I appreciated the un-flat club soda. Our server Ilia G was very knowledgable and charismatic. Our food came out in great time. Price points were decent. I'd definitely stop in again!

My server was very attentive throughout the entire dinner without being overbearing. I wanted to mention her name but unfortunately misplaced my receipt. I love the fact that when I chose the calamari, that they do have the tentacles as well, and not just the rings. For Peaches Prime to meet that one thing was a BIG PLUS to me for a restaurant that looks a little bit more upscale. But the icing on the cake was the fact that I was able to ask for more calamari with the tentacles in less rings so for me that is a win! The drink glasses are quite small like most upscale restaurants are so by the time you put ice in a cup you don't have that much to drink. I ordered shrimp and grits and it has kale in it with mushrooms and the flavor profile was good, but it's not like a southern profile for grits. A southern flavor profile is more rich and hearty. It was good, but the grits were on the runny side. I was provided a fork. I thought it was a small joke at first. You 100% require a spoon and fork with the shrimp and grits. You need a fork for the shrimp and to remove the tails using your butter knife, but to eat the dish you need a spoon. I like the fact that the kitchen did have a little kick of spices. One thing that is always underrated when you go out to eat at a restaurant anywhere in the world, but especially in North America even in Canada, is that food usually comes out to your table warm not hot. But the food came out piping hot and I love that fact. So that's ANOTHER WIN!! They have non-gender restrooms. They were very clean. The hallway that leads to the restrooms seem to be in a different restaurant. I wanted dessert, but I didn't have the room for it after my delicious meal. I definitely will be back but it's not a restaurant that I can come to every week or else. It's not gonna be good for my diet. I would eat too much!

I didn't book a reservation, just walked in right around 5:30 on a Tuesday night. Sat facing the street for good people watching. I really liked the decor, the plates, the servers were very nice. I ordered a Last Herb, a Mezcal play on the classic cocktail the Last Word, and I just adore the presentation. Flowers in the ice-cube (how can you beat that)!!! And there were also little edible flowers in my salad. It just felt like a really nice way to treat myself. Definitely recommend!

Beignet - unexpected, I really kept expecting it to be sweet but I'd get hit with the olive tapenade instead. The texture is nice, but I was a bit confused. Jewel box tomatoes - bright, fresh, and light. The mostly neutral but slightly savory feta gelato was very unique. Risotto - creamy, but still a bit of texture on each grain of rice. I loved the sweetness from the corn and richness from the squash. The peppers were delicious pops of flavor. Mille feuille - light and refreshing cream with a flaky exterior. Definitely come on Tuesday to save $16 (if the discount continues in the future). $83 for a high end-ish four-course prix fixe (includes tax and automatic service charge) isn't too bad in terms of pricing.

I did not get the cheese and my sister said the cheese is so mild that I didn't miss anything. The grits are creamy, made with I'm guessing some coconut milk. When I walked in, I noticed two available seats at the bar. A Caucasian woman took one of the seats, and I sat in the other. Moments later, an employee asked me to move because the woman's friend was supposedly on the way. Now, I've always understood bar seating to be first come, first served. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I wasn't even given the opportunity to order a drink or remain seated until the friend actually arrived. Instead, I was immediately asked to give up my seat for someone who wasn't even present. As a Black man, on Juneteenth of all days, the optics of the situation did not sit well with me. The music was Black. The atmosphere was Black. The culture being celebrated was Black. Yet it felt like preference was being given to someone who wasn't even there over a paying customer who was. Maybe that wasn't the intent, but perception matters, and the experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. Avoid it at all cost! Zero STARS
