S36. Scallop and Shrimp with Garlic Sauce 11. Chicken Teriyaki
    Darren G.

Came by here for a some dinner to go. Little bit of confusion on my order, but they handled it well and quickly. Can definitely say, the wait was very short after ordering. The scallops & shrimp with garlic sauce, shrimp and scallops were great and cooked well, plus bathed enough in the sauce to flavor them. But definitely wish I had more scallops since it was a treasure hunt to find them. As for the veggies, pretty good, particularly the broccoli which I wish was only veggie in it. Garlic sauce was pretty standard and delicious, though had to jazz it up with hot oil for some spicy burn. Chicken teriyaki sticks, tender and juicy meat, well seasoned and not overcooked to oblivion. White rice, just the way it should be, fluffy moist and soft.

I missed them! Their food tasted like the ones in China town. Also, they were always nice with reasonable prices. Where did they go?

The food here is very good. The service sometimes is a bit weird but overall I would rate this Chinese spot as one of the best in the area.

The egg and shrimp dumplings... were different. They're a different flavor and consistency that I've ever been exposed to in dumplings which was interesting, but not my favorite. Prices seemed reasonable, and location is prime for easy parking. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived around 6p. We were told to sit anywhere, so we looked for a comfortable two top. We found one in the back, along side some counter top seating. The server delivered the menus and promptly asked for our beverage orders, honestly the way she said it I expected a full bar but no.. just bottled soft drinks, water and tea. I decided on a pot of green, a steal at $1.50/ pot or person. Refills on hot water graciously given throughout dinner. My wife was happy with water. We ordered the Chicken Lo Mein ($11.99,) Shrimp & Cabbage Dumplings ($15.99) and Pork & Cabbage Dumplings ($11.99.) The Lo Mein came out like the speed of light and piping hot. The Pork and Cabbage Dumplings followed right behind, it was then we knew, we ordered way too much food, and we hadn't even received our Shrimp dumplings yet. The servings are large for the price! What a good problem to have right!?! LEFTOVERS! We had enough time before the Shrimp dumplings came out to consolidate plates as the table was quite small, with the two serving plates of food, my tea pot and cup, both water cups, a napkin holder and a large wooden holder for sauces. Our table was at capacity. I looked at my Wife and knew she was thinking the same thing... "next time we'll do take out!" In my opinion this location for Palace Dumplings is strictly for the college crowd or the super casual diner. I thought the food was really good, but the dining experience not so much. Service was kind but the whole place was kinda sticky, bathroom wasn't clean enough and the seating is mildly uncomfortable. Overall a decent spot for a dumpling craving. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress

They answered the phone , "Yes we are open to 10pm" so we make a bee line to Yeungs Kitchen. This place was packed with people picking up orders and more coming in as we waited for our food. Super busy spot off Dutchess Turnpike just past Adams. We ordered Fried Dumplings, Shrimp Toast, boneless spare ribs, General Tso with veggie lomein and Sweet Sour chicken. So far hands down best Chinese food since moving to Dutchess County. It's a bit of a drive from Hyde Park and we pass 3 other Chinese restaurants but I honestly think the food was amazing and not greasy. I will Definitely try them again and hope to make this my go to Chinese take out place. PS they are open Christmas and New Years.

Nice change of pace to find a place that good to customers and starts the food fast. I barely waited 5 minutes and my order was ready, as like wow less than usual 10-15 minutes standard. Plus thanked for my order as well. So for the food, shrimp were cooked perfectly same with broccoli and bathed in plenty of sauce, so glad they were not cheap with it, skewers were tender and flavorful. Even though it took a shorter than usual time to it, there was no loss in quality. I did notice this first place I found not to offer a soup with lunch specials, was bummed about that, but on the flip side their lunch specials were cheaper overall price point.
