I brought my Dell Inspiron laptop in because it was very noisy and sluggish. Alex helped me and he was great in communicating what could be the problem. Ofc my laptop behaved perfectly when he was diagnosing it but that's always the case ;) he installed and updated the SW drivers etc but found no major issues. He made some recommendations about factory warranty etc but it has been behaving better since. The cost for the diagnosis was zero! Which wow, I would have thought they charge for the time he took to even look at it. Highly recommend for IT issues. read more

THANK YOU Myron at NNIS! I called your shop today in desperation. My computer started talking to me this morning....don't laugh. Ok, you can laugh, it was kinda funny. I've never seen this happen before, but a page popped up and told me my computer was locked and to call a special number. The message kept repeating and I had a meeting, so I went to another room while my computer was freaking out. After my first meeting ended, I only had 40 minutes before my next meeting and I needed my computer. I called 3 other computer repair businesses and they either sounded sketchy, expensive or too much time to get my computer serviced. My last call was NNIS. I wasn't even going to call, but something said, last try. I called and Myron answered the phone. He gave me his price and time frame and it didn't work with what I needed. My laptop had multiple problems including running so slowly and the trackpad being way too sensitive. NNIS tried a phone and web consult but couldn't even get into my computer because of all the problems. So they took it in and in a few hours had it humming along with no trackpad problems. I almost got a new laptop but this saved me almost $1000! I'm going back to them to fix the hinge now on the laptop - an option he told me about but didn't push on me. They are great! This review is long overdue. This is the second computer I brought to Anthony to fix. Anthony is wonderful! He kept me informed every step of the way and I felt very comfortable with him. Prior to bringing my computer to NNIS, Anthony had a 30 minute conversation with me about troubleshooting the computer myself to see if it was something that I could fix on my own. Understanding how this is a business to make money I respected the fact that he was willing to see if I could fix it myself before bringing it in for service. Subsequently Anthony determined that nothing was wrong with my computer. He even took it apart and ran some tests to make sure of this. He didn't end up charging me anything for that service and I thought that was honorable. The next computer I brought in Anthony was able to get to the problem and fix it immediately. I'm a pretty tech-savvy guy. I did IT Helpdesk and some freelance work for a number of years, it's no longer my profession, and quite frankly, I'm tired of it. Orlando saved the day! My daughter's laptop died and she was getting ready to head off to college. I called first thing on Monday morning and he had me bring it right in spent time doing a diagnostic check then determined the hard drive was still in good working condition. Myron and his staff saved the day!!! I have a small Quilt Shop, Roxy's, in Tracy and do all my work and accounting on my Apple MacBook Pro. A glass of lemon aid was accidentally spilled on my keyboard and thankfully we got it wiped up quickly but the keys were still sticking. So a friend highly recommended NNIS.
