Let me first start off by saying Andrew is very nice and proffesional. He was very helpful when it came to answering my questions and he's very knowledgeable. I had gone to best buy because I put a new processor in my gaming system and after that my pc wouldn't boot up to windows so I went to best buy to see if they can take a look at it and they were gonna charge me $130 just to diagnose it. My laptop was experiencing the "blue screen of death" at an ever increasing rate so i thought i should get it looked at by someone with computer skills greater than mine. I tried an on-line thing, but when i am making suggestions to the "expert" i knew i was in trouble. I called Andrew on a Saturday and even tho he had other commitments, he made a plan to meet here in town to pick up my laptop. With some persistence he determined what was wrong and fixed it, at a very reasonable rate. Our computer crashed a few days ago. This computer was old and out dated. In fact the last time Andrew (Owner Of AI Computer Services) worked on this computer was four years ago. He advised me that it is time for a new computer. I understood exactly what he was saying. There comes a time when it just isn't worth putting good money into an outdated computer. Another 5 star for Andrew. My in-law's computer died on us and my first thought was to call him - since it was yet again beyond my ability. He took the computer same day that I called him and got to work. It was hardware issue after hardware issue for him, and also throw the hard drive dying in with all of that (we had tons of family pictures and other documents that were important on it). But he did a fantastic job getting it running and recovering all of our important data, installing new parts, and reloading windows and the data back on to our machine. I know he poured a ton of work into this old computer, and we really really appreciate him making it possible to have our computer back pretty quickly (less than a week, due to having to order parts, and also just because he kept running into issue after issue - this computer is OLD!) on top of it being what I feel was too good to be true pricing. Hands down the best service for computer help I have ever received! I called and left a message to ask if it was possible to have my friends hand-me-down computer cleared of all old information and set to all factory settings so I could use it as my own. I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew a few days ago. My computer broke, I called him and less than 24 hours it was fixed. It had all of my data on it as well. He was genuine and sincere. I had several technical issues that I was unable to resolve at home and I needed help. Firstly, we bought an awesome Samsung SmartTv but I was unable to connect it to my network. I logged many hours with Samsung, who suspected a Firewall issue. Hours on the phone and email with NetGear (they were unable to resolve it, but were very dedicated to helping me) and with Norton thinking that my settings were blocking the connection. As a side note: Norton finally gave up and told me they would have technical support call me. I got an immediate call from someone from India call me at home and they spent about 1 hour trying to talk me into a $600/year contract so they could remotely log onto my PC every month and clean up any virus' or spyware.... They would not take NO for an answer and I finally had to hung up on them.... I talked to Geek Squad about the TV problem, and they talked me into buying a network range extender from Best Buy, but this didn't help either. I still could not connect with the TV. Actually, none of my computers or laptops could connect to the extender, even though I followed the instructions carefully (?). My other issue was that I could not download files from my email. I would get "you are not authorized to download this file". Oy Vey! I had it! I gave up! I finally threw in the towel! I am not technical, but I know how to use the internet... so I googled for someone local that could come to the house and help me out. This is how I found Ai Computer Services. And today, Andrew pulled up on his white steed and saved the day! He solved all my issues, and spent an enormous amount of time resolving other issues I didn't even know I had (like very slow connectivity, advanced settings on my TV to improve the sound and appearance, selected a compatible and cheap gadget for my husband's dinosaur laptop to give him extra speed, and some other stuff I forgot). He was scheduled for an hour, stayed 3 and still charged me his original quoted price. Andrew is very personable and interested in helping and I think he really enjoys what he does and has the tenacity to not let go of a challenge until he is able to solved it. Andrew explained that Ai Computer Services also has a monthly service that is offered. When he first described it I was thinking that it sounded kind of like what that Indian Tech Group tried to sell me, except, the Indian Group wanted to charge me $350 for a one time remote clean-up or a $650/year contract and they would clean-up and monitor my computer remotely on a monthly basis. Oh yes, who wouldn't pay that kind of price to let some group of people a million miles away to have unlimited access to everything on their computer... But actually the service that Andrew offers has more differences than similarities to the "offshore model". Andrew can deliver the monthly service at for a fraction of the cost and most importantly, Andrew is not some faceless stranger - he is a local guy with local customers and he presents himself as a very trustworthy person. By the end of our appointment I felt comfortable in signing up for hiss service and look forward to having less computer problems in the future. I am a very, very happy girl right now!
