And I only planned to have cameras installed after some work that was scheduled to be done on my new house. I reached out to Eyal of Protection Now via Yelp a few days before the escrow closed on my house. Eyal spent an hour on FaceTime as I showed him around the house to discuss the number and location of cameras needed. The house seemed untouched when it was filled with staging furniture for weeks. Stagers removed the furniture over the past weekend. Upon my visit at the house on Monday, I noticed the patio door of the ground-floor master bedroom was unlocked. I then saw there was water all over the master bathroom floor, the toilet seat was up, the shower door was wide open, residual water inside the bathtub basin, AND there was a lighter on the bathroom counter. Moments later as I was measuring the room, I noticed a partial footprint on the window sill and dirt smear on the side wall of the window. Of course, I called Eyal immediately. He speedily set in motion to get my cameras installed the next day. When Eyal and his team arrived on Tuesday, Eyal made a much-appreciated authoritative suggestion to me to also install an alarm system. They completed the installation of both security cameras and many alarm sensors in one day. We had an issue with our alarm from early morning(4am) text messages that went out to my wife and I, as well as everyone on our emergency contact list. The text says something like Trbl zone 209....looking into it, it seems we have a zone fault: most likely a dead battery on one of our sensors. So I obviously call ABS and find out that Doug has sold the company. The new company cannot find my account anywhere after multiple calls. I finally tell them that I am an ABS customer for more than 20 years and from what I heard Doug sold the company, all the sudden they know what file to look under. I am promised a callback. This happens five different times after complaints. I finally really do get a call back promise. That never happened. I called back again and complain and say this is the fifth time I've called the lady apologizes and says somebody will call me back and tells me that they are looking into my alarm and when they come out I will need to sign a three-year contract to fix the problem. I have been a customer with you for probably close to 30 years so that is the dumbest thing you could tell me, that statement alone lost my business. If you want to come out and fix a two dollar battery on a sensor and make me sign a three-year contract I will now look for a new monitoring company. You should've spent the two dollars and I would've been a customer for another 30 years your loss.

Tracy…read moreLock and Safe has been around Tracy for many years, so I decided to take everything to the location to have everything re-keyed the same. Inside the business, you will find a large inventory of keys, key accessories, various door locks, car key fobs, gun safes and just about everything else in between. When I walked into the store, there were no other customers and I was greeted by, Bob. I told Bob I needed everything re-keyed the same as my front door lockset. He checked all the products prior to re-keying to ensure some of them were not already keyed the same. Bob told me he would have the locks re-keyed within the hour and he would call me. After about 15 minutes, Bob called me and told me the locks were ready to go. When I arrived, Bob had everything ready for me to pick up. I asked him to make three more keys and he completed the new keys in just a couple of minutes. As of today, this location charges $23 to re-key a lock that has a key with it. My experience here was quick, easy and convenient.
