Based on those reviews, I decided to contact the company to ask about masonry work. On Saturday, August 1, I called and spoke with the owner, Siaosi, who also goes by George. He told me his company mainly does masonry. We scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, and he asked me to text him with my address. I did so and asked him to acknowledge that he received it, but I never received a response. On Monday, August 3, I called to confirm the appointment. He told me again to text him with the address. I explained that I had already sent it. He then said, "I'm going to hang up now. I will check it." The next day, August 4, he called me, but I missed the call. When I called back, he said his name is George. I asked whether he had called me, and he said he was not sure and that it may have been a pocket call. When I asked what company he was calling from, he hung up on me. On Wednesday, August 5, he called again asking for my address and said he was already in my area. Since I had spoken with him several times, I recognized his voice and mentioned that someone named George had hung up on me the day before. He said George is his English name. He then yelled that he does not check text messages on Saturday and screamed, "Do you still want the service or not?" I found the tone and behavior unprofessional, so I ended the call. He called back again afterward. Overall, my experience was very disappointing. The communication was inconsistent, the appointment was not properly confirmed, and the phone interactions made me uncomfortable. Based on this experience, I would not hire this company. I also question how reliable the five-star ratings are, because my experience did not match the positive reviews I saw online.

These guys are reasonable, but you have to be very careful. You have to get everything. And I mean…read moreeverything in writing. If you have a drawing, have them sign off on the drawing that they would do exactly what the drawing says. Confirm what type of Rock you will be getting. and demand it when it arrives on site. Do not let them use blue rock with the promise to stain it. Make sure all the rocks are cleaned prior to installation. Mine had mud and a lot of the rocks fell off because of that. Make sure you call for at least 6 inches of compacted gravel below grade level. Do not let them talk you out of that Get in writing how thick your wall will be. Every single dimension needs to be verified. Confirm pressure washing is with a pressure washer and not just a hose. You'll have to oversee everything to ensure you get good quality. I had to bring out my own levels because things were not level. I suggest using brown stain instead of the black stain that they recommended. Unless you want black grout. ensure they're using the correct mix of sand and concrete. A lot of mine was way too much sand and was very weak. make sure all underground utilities are marked prior to them arriving. And watch to make sure they do not dig into them. The biggest problem on my job was there was no good supervision on site. Oh, and make sure that cleaning up every day is in the contract so there's no tracks in the sidewalk and street. Good luck.

He reminded me of my dad who also started his business over 40 years ago in residential construction. Later, I met with owner Sione who I originally spoke with over the phone when scheduling the first consultation. Sione is well-spoken, and as busy as he is -- I appreciate him staying in communication via text or answering my call since other rockwall companies fell short. Sione grew up with many years in the rockwall business and learned from his family. Sione was also willing to work with my budget and I understood the high quality of work I'd receive from All Phase. Quality matters and this wall will outlive me for another 40 plus years!!! This is a family run business and they only hire within their family. I met Sione's brothers Q and Jr, along with Kaffa, Masi and so many awesome uncles and masons! I also received the proposal via email from sister Fine. Thanks so much for your work! I could see that they all work with a lot of Heart, Soul and Pride! They arrived on time, some days early! They are very respectful, helpful, and organized throughout the entire job! First day excavating dirt (hours of careful work) ,prepping area for the cement slab ( more hours of work) and jackhammer work to remove old, damaged driveway Apron and prepping for cement. 2nd day crew arrives an hour before the cement truck arrives to review cement pour and traffic control ( street is narrow). Setting up cones on the road and personally directing traffic, Samson made sure the local traffic was safe during the 1 hour presence of the cement truck.
