Sam and his crew assessed my fallen gate situation, repaired my rock wall, and also installed a new mailbox on the correct side of my driveway according to my gate location. His team was courteous, and professional. They also cleaned my fence and the area around it. So hard sometimes to find companies that like to come all the into Waianae. Great communication as well as fast service. If I ever need fencing needs I will definitely use Reliable Fence Solutions. They definitely had affordable prices compared to other company's that i had quotes from. I would suggest having a way to pay by card? That's about it! read more

Demo 2' high x 10' long cmu wall with white vinyl wall mounted above. Replace with white vinyl fence 12' L x 6' H white vinyl step down fence. Sam provided the best quote for this project. Scheduled the 1.5 day project. Sam and Sam demoed and installed new fence on time and within budget. I'am very pleased with the overall experience with Reliable Fencing. read more

Sam was incredible from the start of getting a quote for our fences via Yelp to scheduling the quote, and being in constant communication of the job and the details of when it was going to get done, etc. He was so on it and patient (even though I had to revise my initial quote because I had the wrong thing), but he gladly fixed it and we very promptly set up the date of our old rusty fence removal (old chain link fence with a butt load of dragon fruit plant on it) and installation of a 36" high white vinyl fence. They even went as far as to load up as much dragon fruit plants that they cut down into our green bin. Talk about attention to detail and the care that went into it was super appreciated by my husband and I. If I ever need another fence type thing done, I'm definitely going to reach out to Reliable Fence Solutions again. They are so on it (just look at the results!) read more

I really appreciated Sam's prompt response with the detailed best bid, scheduling and getting the work done! I highly recommend!

Company name should be UN-Reliable Fence Solutions. They had to cancel appointments twice until the third one where they claimed that they has showed up to my place of business. Tried texting if they were lost and got a text reply that they were at my place at the agreed upon time. Now wouldn't common sense dictate that you should call if you have the right address or not IF you actually showed up? Extreme waste of my time. Very sad that actual companies are so unprofessional in today's dog eat dog of business. read more

Some good friends referred Sam and Reliable Fence Solutions to us. He had installed a white vinyl fence around their yard. It came out beautiful. We had Sam and his crew fence an 80 ft. section of 5' chainlink fence. It looks awesome! They did it quickly, and it was the lowest bid from several others that I received before finding Sam. NOT an actual company, neither Sam nor Reliable Fence Solutions has a business license. What does that mean? When your gate breaks (mine broke 3 times in 2 years) expect him to ghost you. Of course he will respond to your initial contact, then "no call/no show" for the appointment and never respond again. plan on replacing everything soon. read more

Wow! These guys put together beautiful fences. They have a vinal version that is washable. That's a nice feature. Recommend highly.

Very happy with our new fence. We wanted a 2 foot hollow tile wall with vinyl fence on top in order to have some privacy in our back yard and to get rid of our old ugly chain link fence. Sam took time to explain everything including timeline and costs. He even added thoughtful ideas I had not thought of like wall drainage and gutter rerouting. Which he took care of. Pricing is very reasonable. I would recommend his business and plan to use him again for future projects. read more

Reliable Fence did a great job repairing my vinyl fence that collapsed. They responded quickly and repairs, which included rebuilding my hollow tile wall, only took about 4 days. They were able to salvage most of my vinyl fencing and they also were able to build me a small patio gate from the unused pieces. Very happy with the work! read more

Sam and his team did such an awesome job on installing my vinyl fence. Sam was fast with a quote, understood what I wanted, and answered any questions I had. Plus, he's such a super friendly guy. It took about 2 days to install. On Day 1 they removed my old fence and did the posts. The next day they finished the fence. I couldn't believe how quickly the work was done. I am so stoked about my new fence and will definitely use him again in the future. read more

After the inital job, been trying contact Sam for a larger job. Very difficult to get a hold of. 3 weeks ago, said he has scheduled me for this week, but no replies to texts or calls for the past 4 days. Difficult to take off work when you have no idea if and when they will be here for the job. Very disappointed after the initial contact and interaction with you and your crew. Hoping you see this and reply, Sam. If you're too busy/sick/on vacation that's understandable but a simple reply would allow us to move forward with another option. Please live up to your business name and I'll be able to update this review. read more

Sam was so easy. I requested a yelp quote and he contacted me same day. Came over right away and gave me an excellent competitive quote. He scheduled a date and said he's be done in 3 days. Everything went exactly as he scheduled, which is SO RARE! Super nice and reliable. Not to mention the fence looks beautiful. We are now considering doing our entire fence on both sides of our home! Here are pics of the before (our old fence collapsed in back of home) and after. Thank you Sam! read more

These guys are the real deal! I contacted a lot of fencing contractors, and Sam stood out for follow up, punctuality, friendliness, and price. Also, his integrity is off the charts. He built us two redwood gates with keyless gate locks and we couldn't love them more. He absolutely insisted on doing everything right, in a couple of cases working to find a better solution (since he was connecting the gates to existing fences, it wasn't simple). I am already hoping to have him back to do more work. Very, very highly recommend Reliable Fence Solutions. read more

Sam from reliable fencing was professional from start to finish! He promptly replied to my request for an estimate for installation of privacy fence to enclose pool and ac equipment, which by the way was very reasonable compared to other estimates I had gotten. He then came to take a look at the site and recommended what would work best-- provided sketch of what it would look like and the type of materials that would be used. Installed privacy fence looks great! Looks exactly like the sketch and hides all the equipment. Very pleased! read more

tldr; Reliable Fence Services said they'd install fencing on a specific weekend. Between that installation weekend and the following week, they postponed four times, didn't show up twice, and then ghosted. Also, even though they set an installation date, they did not send me an estimate document or provide information about how I was supposed to pay them until I asked about it. The owner scheduled with us to install the fencing on the 24th and 25th of April. On the 23rd, the owner called to postpone by a day, saying he had a conflicting personal commitment. On the 25th, no one showed up. I texted the owner, and he said that he forgot that his crew needed to get vaccinations. He rescheduled for the 26th and 27th. On the 26th, one worker did show up, but he was under the impression that he was performing an estimate, and did not have the equipment he needed to install all six poles. He installed the four he could, and the owner said they would finish up the next day. On the 27th, owner texted that he was unable to purchase the black chain link fence and rescheduled to the 30th. On the 30th, owner texted that he was still unable to purchase the black chain link fence. I asked to switch to regular chain link if it was easier to obtain just so we could get the fence installed, but the owner asked to reschedule for the following day because now they didn't have enough time to make the purchase and get to our house -- because his crew had to get covid vaccinations that day. On May 1st, no one showed up, and from then on I didn't hear anything from the owner. He didn't respond to texts or phone messages. Furthermore, we learned later on that the four poles that Reliable Fence Services had installed weren't even properly done -- they were dug too shallow, and we were able to pull them out by hand! To be clear, I was happy for his crew to be able to get vaccinated. But the timing of when he'd use vaccinations as the reason that he and his crew couldn't do work made me feel like he wasn't being honest with me about why they couldn't come that day. read more

Sam from Reliable Fence Solutions provided a quick estimate for 3 different areas of fencing including a new gate. He came up with a great solution to a gate that was always too heavy and bent the arm. Upon install there were a few small changes we needed. Sam came out the next day and took care of the issues. He will not stop until all the work is completed. Value for service was also fair and he provided an invoice ahead of time. read more

I recently used Sam from Reliable Fence to install a vinyl fence in my garage. Our property manager noticed that the open edge of the garage floor dropped off a couple of feet to our walkway. Said it was a safety issue for tenant. Asked us to install a fence or railing. We intended to eventually enclose the garage so decided a tall vinyl fence would a possible solution. Requested several estimates from fence companies on Yelp. Sam was the only company willing to come out to see our garage and make recommendations. He came the next day to look at the area needing the fencing and said he could install the fence in a few days. He scheduled a date and time that week. To my surprise, he contacted me next day to say they had a free window of time that morning and could finish in a few hours. By the time I drove out to the house, the fence was installed. Sam used a quick drying cement for the posts and explained the fence would be ready to use. I was so pleased with the workmanship quality and responsiveness of Sam's team. Would definitely use him again and recommend his company to anyone needing fencing work. We plan to contact him when we are ready to enclose the garage. read more

After reading so many good reviews I was excited to get my fence replaced. Once the estimate and paperwork were sorted we set a date for installation. I decided to stay home from work the first day to ensure Sam and company had access to everything they would need at my house. Sam and his dad showed up as scheduled and immediately went to work. The job included removing our old fence and replacing it with a new one. What started as excitement soon turned into worries. It took 2 weeks to install 40 ft of fence. The reason it took 2 weeks to finish was because they would work a day and then take 2 days off without notifying us. When Sam and his dad did show up for work they'd only spend 4 hours on site. After each day I would check to see the progress of the fence and one day I found that old parts of the old fence had been installed to the new fence. When asked about it Sam said it was because the warehouse where they purchase material didn't have the parts on hand. Eventually, those pieces were replaced with new pieces. On another occasion, I found that 2 of my post were being held together by some type of adhesive. When asked about it Sam said it was glued together to help the cement cure properly. I understood what he was trying to do but the workmanship was sloppy. Overall I'd say it wasn't a very good experience. I believe Sam has a crew that works under him but they never made it to my house. Maybe I would be singing a different tune had they shown up. Aloha! read more
