We love our new fence! Mike's fencing did an awesome job! They came out to survey super fast and immediately responded with a quote. We wanted to change a couple of things so they worked with us on that with no issues. The old fence was demolished and new one put in on the same day and it looks fantastic. Thank you for such great service! I was surprised that it was half the price that I thought it would be, so definitely value for your money. read more

Mike and his team are the best. I called them for a small project but it required a lot of gates. Mike came out himself to assess the project and gave me a quick and very reasonable estimate. They were great at communicating and letting us know when they could start. They kept me updated and we're able to come out sooner than I expected which was nice. The work was done very well and they were so nice. I really appreciated Mike and his team. I would highly recommend them and would hands down use them again. read more

Mike installed a vinyl gate which looks nice but never has closed correctly He came back a few times to adjust the hinges which worked for a short time. For over a year I have had problems with the gate and he won't respond to a txt, phone call or his answering machine request to call me. I have repeated attempted to talk to him but he won't respond. I feel they don't take care of their customers after they complete the installation. He is a super nice guy but he should respond to faulty work. read more

Mike came to the house for an estimate, was prompt, patient, and very personable. He answered all of our questions , as this was the first fence we ever had installed. He got back to us with a very fair estimate ( we had gotten other estimates), and we also liked the fact that he was from Kailua. When the fence was installed, the men were efficient, cleaned up well, and all that was left was a beautiful fence! I would highly recommend him and his company. read more

We needed to install a fence to show property lines that were subdivided 27 yrs ago. From the time we called Mike for an estimate, to the end of job, everyone from Mike's Fencing was terrific to work with - Mike, Kate in the "office", foreman Jason, and all the staff - friendly, professional, respectful. Mike answered every question we had, ensured every detail of our contract was met, and the project was done on time and finished beautifully. We highly recommend Mike's Fencing. read more

Shopped around for estimates for a chain link fence. Mike gave one close to a cheaper contractor but the cheaper contractor had poor reviews. Pros: Mike takes all forms of payment. Office staff is very courteous and professional. Clear communication. Timely response for the project. The team of installers worked diligently. Cons: had to schedule time off work to be present for installation. Used a wire on the bottom of the fence vs an aluminum pole. Quality of work was overall excellent and Mike offered to replace the wire on the bottom of the fence with a pole but i declined due to scheduling conflicts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

We share three walls with our neighbors. Mike's Fencing has handled two of these walls, and we are thrilled with the final outcome. Not only are the jobs they've completed excellent, but we also admire the people within the company. Owner Mike is incredibly friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth. He listened attentively and addressed all of our questions and concerns. The working staff are equally friendly, efficient, and professional. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Jason, who consistently kept us informed and explained their progress. He was also wonderfully accommodating to our toddler, who was curious and wanted to watch the crew work. I appreciate his honesty in addressing and rectifying any issues. After getting three fencing estimates, I chose Mikes fencing, the owner Mike came to my house to give me a estimate, very easy to talk to, was on time that we agreed he was coming and within two days we got the estimate. I then got two more quotes from other contractors. Mikes fencing estimate was in the middle of the other two contractors and what sold us on going with him were two reasons, we could use our credit card and he did everything I ask to be done and his workers also went be on to accommodate the construction of the fence to me this is excellent service. We are so happy with our new fence and grateful to the Mike's Fencing Team. Mike came to do a consultation and he discussed his recommendations and outlined what they could customize to accommodate the needs of our property. We received a quote via email and we're able to pay the deposit through a link on that email and sign the agreement electronically. We later received a call to schedule a date for installation. They were also able to communicate via text. On the first day the Mike's Fencing Team were able to demo our old wood fence and install the new posts. My wife and I purchased our new home in September of last year, and the back yard fence was a little dilapidated. We have 2 small dogs and they were always managing to escape. Fortunately we have a safe neighborhood and traffic drives pretty slow in front of our home. We also have great neighbors that had gotten so used to seeing our babies in the street, their would be knocks on our door multiple times a week with a nice smile "we found Bella again". Awe. We were terrified that something would happen to our babies. We tried so many different ways to secure the fence so they wouldn't escape, to no avail. We knew it was time to invest in a proper fence.... We reached out to quite a few friends and family members for recommendations and it seems liked Mikes Fencing was always the one most highly recommended. So, we figured we would give them a call and see what they could do. Mike was at our home within 24 hours of calling him. I walked him around the home and explains the issues. He quickly drew up an estimate and had it back to me the next day. The price was very reasonable, and because he was so highly recommended, we decided that we didn't need any other estimates and would just go with Mike. The job was done in 3 days and was perfect. Exactly how we wanted it complete with self closing hinges and locks (we have a pool) to help keep the neighborhood kids safe. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Mikes Fencing to anyone and everyone. read more

Great local company that does quality work for a reasonable price. Highly recommend Mike's Fencing for your fencing needs.

We selected Mike's Fencing after receiving a number of estimates to build a new redwood fence around our property (to include demolition and disposal of the existing fence). Mike's estimate was very competitive (with other licensed and insured companies), and the timeline provided met with our needs. The entire project was done in accordance with the estimate and schedule we received. Mike Moody and his crew were fast, complete, courteous, and communicated with us on all matters to be sure that we knew what to expect and were pleased with the work. Our new fence has been up for several weeks and we continue to be very happy with the results. We highly, highly recommend Mike's Fencing. read more

We are so pleased with Mike and his wonderful crew. We had a 143 ft long fence installed this week--chain link--and it looks great. Mike is an excellent communicator, did what he said he was going to do, and the fence looks amazing. Called Mike's Fencing and got a quick response. Mike came out to speak with us and provided a quote within a few days. I would hire Mike's Fencing for the following reasons: - local guy with local employees - quality customer service (Mike personally followed-up with me before final payment) - quality work and craftsmanship - fair pricing - responsible employees (one employee made sure to remind me of a safety hazard before leaving on the first day of the install, the hazard was not created by them). read more

A+++ for Mike's Fencing. It's been almost 10 years since I replaced my old wood fence with Mike's vinyl fence. I would not have imagined writing a review a decade later, but Mike's fence is amazing, high quality and still looks EXCELLENT today! A fenced backyard offers privacy and security for kids and dogs. The gate has a nice latch, so a lock can used for extra security as well. Also, a good investment for your home. I would highly recommend Mike's Fencing, if you are looking to install a fence. My dealings with Mike's Fencing was a complete joy. He did everything he said he would do, when he said he'd do it. He is a very professional man. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I started with a dilapidated fence in my back yard on a Sunday and three days later on Tuesday I had a beautiful new fence that I love. He called me several times to make sure I was happy. If it weren't for COVID this would have been a one-star review. Mike came to assess our property back on 9/10. He was knowledgable, friendly, and helped talk me through a fence design that fit the property and my budget well (and that honestly I didn't have a clear idea about). After we agreed on a scope that seemed reasonable to both of us, he referred me to a landscaper to cut a fence line in preparation for the work. If you keep reading, you'll understand how this stellar first meeting only makes our experience of Mike's Fencing worse. A month later, Mike's referred landscaper completed a full day's work of landscaping. Despite countless calls to both of Mike's numbers before and after the landscaping work, we have yet to hear from Mike again about our project. I even went 4 days of calling him daily with no response back. It is now 10/24, a month and a half since I heard from him. Needless to say, we've long moved on to pursue other fence builders, and I suggest you do the same. Who knows, you might get lucky like one of these 5-star reviews, but I'm here to tell you that you're rolling the dice with this one. If they didn't want to work on our project, they could have just picked up the phone and said so. If I wanted to be ghosted this hard, I would have looked for a fence builder on Tinder. read more

I had a couple of estimates for a fence and Mike was by far the most fair price from anyone. The time to get an estimate was satisfactory and cant say enough how well the team that put our fence up did. We love it, the gates all open smoothly, the fence seams absolutely flawless. To top it off, it rained a good bit while they were working and it in turn messed up the grass ever so slightly. I wasn't concerned but Mike called me and asked about fixing it.
