Called Precision Fabrication and spoke to Aaron regarding a stripped O2 sensor bung on my exhaust…read moremanifold that I needed to have replaced. Aaron was very professional, polite and easy to talk to. He proposed a couple different options to replace the bung, 1) a cheap & easy way or 2) a more expensive & harder way. I went with option 2 because although more expensive it was still reasonably priced. Dropped off the exhaust manifold on Tuesday morning, he said it would be ready for pick up on Wednesday morning. Tuesday afternoon I receive a text from Aaron saying that he was able to re-tap the damaged threads on the original bung and the exhaust was ready for pick up. He charged me a fraction of the price we discussed. He could have made a nice "chuck of change" if he replaced the bung but instead he rethreaded it and saved me a lot of money. I asked Yelp for a recommendation and Oahu Windows and Doors contacted me very quickly. They said they would send Nick, "our repair guy," out to take a look and give me an estimate on a repair. Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money.
