Called Precision Fabrication and spoke to Aaron regarding a stripped O2 sensor bung on my exhaust…read moremanifold that I needed to have replaced. Aaron was very professional, polite and easy to talk to. He proposed a couple different options to replace the bung, 1) a cheap & easy way or 2) a more expensive & harder way. I went with option 2 because although more expensive it was still reasonably priced. Dropped off the exhaust manifold on Tuesday morning, he said it would be ready for pick up on Wednesday morning. Tuesday afternoon I receive a text from Aaron saying that he was able to re-tap the damaged threads on the original bung and the exhaust was ready for pick up. He charged me a fraction of the price we discussed. He could have made a nice "chuck of change" if he replaced the bung but instead he rethreaded it and saved me a lot of money. Who does that in the day & age of looking out for "number one"? Someone with integrity, that's who. It was a pleasure doing business with Aaron. The other places wanted me to hire an engineer (over $6k) to diagnose the problem. But Jeremy did that at the beginning. I don't know anything about this process, but I trust these guys did a great job. The workers came in a timely manner, stayed working under my house for about 3 days. I could hear them laughing and enjoying their work. Great guys, good attitudes and worked hard. Took pictures, I forgot to save. But they drilled and put push piers in and used something to shoot into the cracks like a steel cement. They had affordable pricing and as far as I know did a great job to stabilize. I asked Yelp for a recommendation and Oahu Windows and Doors contacted me very quickly. They said they would send Nick, "our repair guy," out to take a look and give me an estimate on a repair. Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and effective in solving my problem. I highly recommend Oahu Windows and Doors.
