It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. Find another restaurant for your main course.

The staff were extremely nice but the food was mediocre. Some of the items offered were just bland or tasted off. The general tso chicken was watery and not spicy at all. Seemed more like an orange chicken. I've had better seasoned pork dumplings elsewhere. Providing the dumpling sauce on the buffet was a nice touch though. The egg roll was boring too. Not much seasoning.

It really pains me to say this but all three dishes were not served hot and the sauces were really not heated through and the flavors were so disappointing - nothing like the Chen's we knew and loved. The veggies in the first dish were raw and hard peppers and onions and carrots and the broccoli was very raw and barely even heated in the healthy chicken dish.
